The above review written by Alan Keller is complete crap. I have been frequenting the Red Barn for years. I have always been treated courteously even when Mr. Keller was the owner. He is just writing a terrible review because he screwed up and lost his business. I am not affiliated with the Red Barn in any way. It is the only bait store that is local and I enjoy taking my kids in there.

I go in often and the staff are always friendly and willing to help. Would recommend them for bait and supplies.

I agree with the last post ive lived in ponca the majority of my life and i have never complained once about the service or quality. Everything is fair priced compared to other local stores and bait shops. I have only said something to mr.keller once and that was because a new girl had accidently charged me tax on live bait which is illegal so i let him know so he wouldnt get into any trouble.

Opens at 7 am summer hours only, rest of the year opens 9 am.

Employees are rude, Bait dies before we get to the lake and its only 2 miles away, Tackle is way expensive, never ever again, wal-mart here I come.........not much better but at least I dont have to deal with what I do here........
