As usual the girl there is fantastic by little Parts girl my girlfriend University Road now is all brand new concrete so everybody could go back down and start doing business packing University lawn equipment you could get there now without your vehicle or your trailer falling apart through the potholes tried to get to their business but it is all brand new concrete road down smooth as hell so go and see them again have a good day

Im very happy with my visit. They were very honest about how much it would cost to repair my weed wacker. In the end it was cheaper to buy a new that comes with a 4 year warranty.

Joel the owner is awesome. That place always takes care of me and you can really tell that they care more than most places do now days. They are a little off the beaten path but well worth the detour.They specialize in Simplicity and Snapper but I think they can service more than that....

I dropped my snow blower off for service, only to be called a week later to say they dont work on my brand. Really you couldnt of told me that on the phone when I was told you to bring it in.

If youre not worried about spending an arm and a leg In getting your mower or equipment fixed. This place is for you. The staff is quite friendly and willing to help. However they will charge you for parts that you dont need and tell you that it will be an insane amount to replace whatever parts are missing and to fix your equipment. Ive taken my lawn mower there two different times for repairs. The first time I had a pretty good experience however it was still insanely expensive to fix I would have been better off just purchasing a new lawn mower. The second time I brought it in for repairs I was told there were many parts missing for what needed to be fixed. And several of the parts that they told me were missing were parts that I had recently purchased and put on the lawn mower myself. They were parts that didnt even need to be replaced. So here I am purchasing a bunch of parts that I dont even need. They will not hesitate to get every dime out of you they possibly can. But hey they at least do a good job. Also they will also give you an approximate of time that they could possibly get it fixed. If they tell you two weeks expect it to be 4. Both times I took my lawn mower and they told me it would be done at a certain amount of time. And it ended up being done much later than what they said. Wjen you call to.check on the progress and find out why its taking so long,Besides the helpful woman that works there, Angie, the others wont even apologize for how long its taking to get the job done. However theyll have no problem complaining and telling you that theres all these mowers in front of you to be fixed . But they dont bother to tell you that when you drop it off. So if you take your equipment there dont expect to get it back for quite some time.

I have made purchases on the past but dont know whats wrong with them lately, maybe they have new people answering their phones but their Customer Service is extremely POOR! i have called twice to quote 2 different things quoted and person cannot give a straight answer whatsoever, couldnt answer what battery i needed for my tractor or the cost for a clutch repair, couldnt find a part number, DIDNT EVEN TRY!, i could feel the blind stare across the phone line, only answer i could get from him is bring the tractor down and we will let you know, come on... ITS A TRACTOR!!! cant just haul it around like its a bag of toys! advice to the owner, find someone that cares! and is willing to do its best to service the customer...

Found a good used trac vac there

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just happened to be wearing a dress today when I walked in to get a chainsaw. The sales man insulted me for 10 minutes, saying I could not handle anything but the lightest model, and the heavy model would be good for my husband to use before I called him in for dinner (his actual words to me.) Who even acts like that in this day?! Shame on this store owner for hiring someone like that.

Well they are a good store the sales person is very good they solve my problem instantly and quickly its the only place I would take my lawnmowers!!!

Great people very informational on all questions that I asked I will buy my lawn mower there I believe the gentlemans name was Joel and Snapper was the model that I really like the commercial model even though Id use it on my own lawn I like things that will last thank you Jerry.

Bought a mower and a trimmer, both work great. Joel was very knowledgeable and helpful.

My husband bought a trimmer we had it less than a month the first time we used it we had trouble with it idleing after the 3 tank of gas so I took it back on a Tuesday they said it would be ready that evening. I went back Wednesday still not ready. So I called Friday I was on hold for 5 minutes the guy told me he thought it was ready he was going to check. He never came back to the phone so thinking it was ready I go up there an they tol me the motor was burnt up in it. I hadnt used it even 3 hours. They told me they had told pull the motor off to see if I put bad gas in it I told them I bought midgrade like the book said mixed it with the expensive oil just like the book said. But they still have to pull the motor to see. I ask how long is that gonna take. They dont know. The whole while half my yard is trimmed. What a rip off.

Thoroughly disappointed with University Lawn Equipment. I took my weedwhipper in for repair - waited 3 weeks, got it back and it worked one time! I do not recommend them for any repair job.

One of the oldest Simplicity Dealers in Michigan if not the oldest and in my opinion the best. My Dad started doing business with them back in the mid 50s when they were owned by someone else. I purchased my first new Simplicity Landlord back in 1964 and it still runs great today. I am now 71 years old and still used my Landlord but I decided to restore it. Any part that I have needed for its drive line has been available at University Lawn and if it had to be rebuilt such as its engine they did a great job. Two years ago after deciding to restore my Landlord I purchased my 2014 Broadmoor from them. The owner is a super nice guy and I am not saying so just because I feel he gave me a good price but he did. When ever I call or go to their dealer they are so personal and busy but with long term customers and always very polite. Its not a huge business but they always have a nice inventory of Simplicity tractors and other Simplicity products. Their mechanics are top notch and have always done a good job wether on my old Landlord or my newer Broadmoor. Very friendly atmosphere from their employees and I highly recommend them to everyone. My Son Inlaw also purchased his 1999 Broadmoor from them also and he also has been very satisfied with them also. I know this is a long review but I try to cover most all the basics when writing one for whom ever its for. Thank You

Very disappointed in my experience with university lawn equipment service department. I took a push mower in that was stalling, they charged me $80 to sharpen the blades and look it over and said it runs fine. I picked it up, brought it home and it stalled in the first 2 minutes. I took it back to them the next day, they looked it over and told me they can not find anything wrong. So once again I took it back home and it stalled in the first 2 minutes. I decided to take it to another place and in 30 minutes the repair man diagnosed and repaired the issue with the carburator while I watched. He even replaced the plug and had a spare knob that had rattled off long ago and also adjusted the idle for a more even run. Mower runs great now. I wish I had not gone to University because I had to pay twice the cost and transport the mower 3 times to eventually fix the issue ultimately with another service
