Terrible service. Tech came out Monday evening 7/12 said he had the wrong windshield. He said someone would come out 7/13 with the new glass. No one showed up! I received a text late last night that a tech would be here today 7/14 between 8-10 and it’s currently 11am!!!!! No one is here and my car is covered in tape. It rained last night!!!!!!!!
Worst phone system ever. Tried to simply call to get update on my windshield replacement. Takes 2 minutes just to be transferred from the corporate system and transferred to the local shop. Hung up after an additional 8 minutes of elevator music. Absolutely worthless to try calling.UPDATE AFTER WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT SERVICE:This information has been provided to customer support via email also (again because no option to talk to a rep via phone!?):My wife had the windshield on her 2019 Subaru Forester replaced today at the Pooler GA Safelite store. After she got home, I noticed that the technician used prying tools to remove the old windshield that damaged the trim above the c-pillars, and chipped the roof paint down to bare metal. In addition, the technician removed the lower trim pieces (scuttle) to remove the exiting windshield, but broke the push-pins and did not replace them. The trim is now not secured and binding with the windshield wipers.Pictures of the damage from your technicians are attached, in addition to the receipt for the work performed today. I’m very unhappy with the service your company provided. You fixed one problem (broken windshield), but left me with three others (chipped paint, gougedtrim, broken trim fasteners) and charged me $1369.17? What will you do to remedy this situation?

Everyone was super nice. We had an appt. Took 2 hrs to get to us. Need a better system for customer service. Some were taken that didnt have appts. Could hear their conversations. Ours was a 10 minute fix. Great job.
They did great work but trying to get them on the phone absolutely sucks. You cannot talk to a human freaking being any more. Got an issue with a windshield wiper but you can’t get with them to have warranty. Sure wish they would contact me but that probably won’t happen either
Im not a review writer, never do it, I understand that people and places have bad days, but had to hop on for this one. Worst experience Ive ever had dealing with car stuff. First appointment, the technician no called, no showed. No one from the company called me, no heads up. I waited until the end of the service window on a Friday at 5pm, then guess what - no one answers the phone on the evening/weekends. It wasnt until I called on Monday that any I got any info. Second appointment, over a week later, the technician shows up, but was sent without the required clips that hold the windshield into place. I am now going to have to take my third half day off of work to get this repaired. Not often does my blood boil, but this company is absolutely horrible. If I werent required to use them by my insurance, I would take my business somewhere else in a heartbeat. If you can go somewhere else, please do. Only giving it a 2 star because the girl on the phone was super nice and tried to make things right. She deserves better!
If I could give them 0 stars I would. GARBAGE! I scheduled an appointment with safe lite 2 weeks ago. I was emailed last night the name and photo of the technician Branden. I was told he would arrive between 8 am and 12 pm today . At 1146 I called to see If he was coming and got a customer service agent who was eventually able to get in touch with Branden who said he was scheduled to work in the office today. No one has called from their office to apologize for the loss of my time this morning. I spent all 4 hrs waiting for him to arrive. I moved the car in the garage facing out to make sure he wouldnt get roasted in the sun and cleaned so he would have all the space and clearance needed.This is beyond unprofessional.

They were horrible. After I was confirmed for my appointment the technician never showed to reach my windshield. When I finally got hold of someone I was informed they were not coming out because the windshield never came in. Ok fine but dont tell me they are coming then never show up and I need to call to find out why.
Replaced my rear door window with a non factory, non tinted window so now I have to get a new tint put on it. The technician broke a piece off the door handle, they came back a couple of weeks later to replace it and now my door lock wont work. The technician said he had no training on performing these types of repairs so it is no wonder he did not do it correctly.
Safelite replaced my mother in laws windshield. The technician was extremely rude and surly. His manner was so off-putting that I am going to mention to State farm that they should consider not using Safelite for their glass replacements and repairs.
My rearview mirror had come unglued a couple weeks ago. I tried fixing it myself but was my mirror would not glue back on. I tried taking it to two service places (including my dealership) to get the rearview mirror reglued. Neither place was able to do it because I had an aftermarket windshield that was installed by the previous owner of the car. My dealership recommended taking it to Safelite. I was glad they did. I received fantastic service. The woman at the desk came out and took a look. She said that I might have to get a new windshield but that the service people would try to glue my rearview mirror back on. She took my car back and no more than 15 minutes later, they came back with my rearview mirror fixed. Even better, they did not charge me for the repair. Safelite has made a customer for life and I will be going back if I ever need my windshield worked on again!
If I could give this location negative stars I would. I was scheduled to have my windshield replaced on 6/23/2021. When the tech arrived the window had a scratch on it and since I am paying out of pocket I refused to have it installed. The technician stated that he would be able to have a new windshield within 3 days. I didn’t receive a call back from anyone until 7/3/2021 to reschedule. My new appointment was set for 7/10/2021 from 8-12 in the morning. I then received a text message stating that the appointment had been updated to 12-5 on the same day. I then received another text message stating that I would have a new appointment on 7/13/2021 between 12-5. I’m glad safelite thinks it’s a good time and day for them to come and replace my windshield because they sure didn’t ask me if that was a good day or time for me. I have lost over $600 dollars in wages due to the fact that Safelite in Pooler is unprofessional and useless.

This is the second time that I have had an appointment for on site repair scheduled that they have not only not shown up, but did not call to cancel either! finally able to get someone on the phone and the lady in savannah could have cared less. Guess what? You are not the only business in town that can repair a crack. I will NEVER go to safelite again!
The Safelite team was on time and professional. They installed the glass in my 2020 Corvette in less than 2 1/2 hours. Which was the estimated installation time.Brad, my technician, noticed a,deep scratch in my new windshield glass prior to installing it two weeks previously. A new windshield was ordered and installed. The team was very concerned with the inconvenience but I told them it was a mark of their professionalism.

You absolutely can not get anyone on the phone, they direct you to their website, they run you around the call center, when you try and get a transfer to the shop the line goes dead like someone hung up on you. Terrible place to try and do business with! Stay very very very far away!

I don’t write reviews, but felt this company (at least the Pooler, Ga location) deserved one. If I could give 0 stars, I would, but you have to give at least one star to write the review-go figure. You can only make appointments online, no one from the local shop answers the phone-you’re transferred to a call center and they’re basically there to try and diffuse poor situations (after a 15 minute wait of course). The local technician no-call, no-showed during my 5 hour appointment window and when the call center offered to reschedule, the next available appointment wasn’t until a week from now. Why should I run the risk of another no-call, no show. Or better yet, why couldn’t my appointment take priority for the next day or two this week since there was a communication failure/no-show on the company’s end? I’ll take my business elsewhere. Poor customer service, poor communication, poor time management, the list could go on. Spare yourself a wasted 5-hour appointment window and take your business elsewhere.

Absolutely the most unprofessional place ever. It took from November 2020-April 2021 of calling to get my car taken care of. My window was replaced incorrectly so my whole car was filled with mold & my child’s car seat was destroyed. The manager Trent was 0 help & would not respond on multiple occasions after several attempts of trying to get ahold of him. I had to continuously call customer service for any kind of update & they kept getting every piece of information wrong for whatever reason. They sent the check for the payment for my car seat to 2 wrong addresses before they even sent it to mine. Do not waste your time here. People need to be fired or learn how to do their job. I am extremely disappointed & very happy to not have to do a managers job anymore just to get my case taken care of.Sincerely,Julia Rutledge
Paid for repair of a minor crack but end result showed no difference. Staff was very friendly and upfront regarding the possibility of not being able to fix repair.Ive never had an issue with windshield before so wasnt sure what to expect.
HORRIBLE! We were told it would take 90 minutes. We returned at 110 mins and they had just started. Another 90 minutes. Plan an entire day if you use this safelite
My experience with Safelite was extremely frustrating, as they had to come a total of 4 times to replace my windshield. On the first visit, the windshield cracked as it was being installed. On the second, the technician never showed up. On the third, the replacement windshield was broken in the truck before installation. Finally, on the fourth visit, the technician called in the morning and asked to change the time of the appointment dramatically. In the end it took almost a month to get the windshield replaced. I was not offered any sort of refund or discount, even though I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that someone would call me. They never did. While I understand that accidents happen, I frankly expected something for my trouble. In the end I waited a total of almost 20 hours in the appointment windows, and paid nearly $500 with no fixed windshield for over a month. Not good service at all.
My experience here began with me scheduling an appointment for a technician to come to my house. They gave me an arrival time between 8am-12. The technician shows up at 12 and ask if I had any coverings for the elements, so I provided it to him. This is something that should be provided by the company. He then struggled to get the windshield off and said that he couldnt complete the job and told me we had to reschedule the current work. Upon inspection of my current windshield that he could not get off, I realized that he already broke the seal, which means that it would no longer keep out the elements out. I then explained that the windshield needed to be replaced today and I wasnt excepting no for an answer. I ended up driving to a local shop while feeling very unsafe and I waited hours to get the replacement done but eventually, it was done. On top of all of this, the weather strip on the top of the windshield flew off while driving the very next day. I have reached out to the customer service team on the 1-800 and the local shop and NOONE will assist me getting a refund on the extra money I paid for someone to come to my house and perform this work. I would recommend going to a company with great customer service.
Had an appointment scheduled for tech to come repair my windshield on July 13,2021, waited from 8am-5pm, no one showed up, no call, no text. When I tried to call them, can’t get anyone on phone. Went to Safelite help center, they said a manager from the Pooler store would call me by 10am July 14, 2021, no one called. Unprofessional to say the least!
Stay away from this company! They’re over priced and show up with broken glass if you have them come to your location! I booked my appointment (which was today) and the guy shows up with a broken glass. So I’m like ok how fast can you get a new one to me he’s like I have to call me boss to see when we can reschedule you because it takes a while to get it from the warehouse. Smh! I rearranged my entire schedule for this appointment. He leaves and I have to sit and wait for his boss to call me. Once I get a call I’m informed that the glass will take another week or so (depending on if they get in contact with the warehouse)! Great customer service huh?! Not! I called around and got in for an appointment within 48hrs and for way less than what the scavenger at safelite charge you! Shop elsewhere!
Robert was the technician who came out and fixed my windshield. He communicated very well and finished it in a timely matter. He was awesome.. The price was a little on the high side in my opinion for the crack I had, but if my windshield cracks again I will definitely use them.

The experience at this particular store wasnt our best...the people are nice respectful however the service wasnt the best...we brought a 2019 honda to have the windshield replaced...we brought the car to have it replaced a week after scheduling it to be replaced ( and we live an hour and 20mins) away from the store location and was told after we dropped it off and they had the car all day, that the windshield was sent to a Florida location. There were other things, like you couldnt reach anyone on the phone at this location, was told the calls where routed to the Florida location, but still no answered when they where called...i have to admit they did replace it and it seems to be doing fine...
So I needed a windshield replaced and they did it in a timely manner, without incident. Their quote was to-the-penney and everyone was very professional.
Customer service representative Dakota was very nice, he tolded me everything that he was going to do to make me feel comfortable about my windshield! It didnt take long as I thought, plus it only took 15 minutes! So I recommend Safelite Auto Glass for windshield repairs! Good job Dakota 👏
This company was the worst company ever! Not only were they unprofessional and uncommunicative they were inept at getting the correct window 3x! I asked to speak to a manager and customer service promised to have them call....still waiting! Went to another shop in the area who did it in an hr after waiting over 4 weeks for Safelite! Very bad experience with Pooler location. I have been there three times because they ordered the wrong windshield, returning follow up calls have not been done. The manager there was not helpful when correcting they’re mistakes. I am very dissatisfied with them would not recommend this particular location.

Originally scheduled my appointment for 1/14/21 (scheduled on 1/8) had to reschedule to 1/18/21 (change made on 1/11) due to a doctor appointment for my wife who had recently been diagnosed with cancer and the appointment was unavoidable. Morning of 1/14 tech calls me about coming out, I explained the appt was changed to 1/18. He talked to his office to confirm. Next thing I get an email about my appointment for 1/20/21, never made an appointment for that day. Tried calling the Pooler, GA location and nobody would answer the phone. Had the national number try calling them and they couldnt get through. Nothing showed for my 1/18 appt. Went to the storefront location on 1/16 and girl put me in for 1/18/21 8am-12pm. Today, 1/18/21 I get told my the location that the national number rep had just spoken to my insurance agent (who I was also talking to at the time) and they had cancelled my appt. without calling me to let me know. I was sitting home waiting for them to show when my agent called me about it at 11am. My agent put me in touch with another company who will be replacing my windshield instead at my convenience this week. I was warned about Safelite years ago and stayed away from them but they were the preferred for Allstate, until now. If you are considering Safelite, dont!!
We had five different appointments scheduled with this Safelight location. For the first appointment we drove 40 minutes away to their facility and they ordered the wrong windshield. They said they would come to us to replace the windshield when they got it in. We had 4 more appointments re-scheduled because no one would show up. This is ridiculous and the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. We reported it to Geico and will be using a completely different company.

As far as getting a new windshield I mean they did their job. As far as customer service goes I feel like I was dealing with the circus. I originally went through my insurance for this. Then my husband reached out and was told there was an appointment made and I missed it. Funny I was never called about said appointment and my parts were then returned. I legit waited 6 weeks to have my windshield replaced. If I didnt HAVE to use safelite I wouldnt.

I scheduled a windshield replacement on my vehicle through their online ordering; Price was set at 522 (and some change). I use my VIN number to produce this order. All should know that through the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), EVERY detail pertaining to said vehicle is presented! Unfortunately, about a week later, UPON ARRIVAL (not during product and service ordering) to my residence the technician expressed that my vehicle required some type of calibration to a sensor/camera located behind my rear view mirror... This service will require $300 EXTRA!!! What in the goodness of existence would cause such a gross miscalculation? Thanks to the technician (who was pretty cool by the way!) I was able to speak with the management team about this matter. They expressed that without this calibration Safelite will not touch my vehicle. I denied service, and recommend that anyone looking to go through Safelite turn away!!!!! RUN!!!! This is clearly a HUSTLE! I believe that they are accustomed to doing business through insurance companies. My base service exceeded my insurance deductible, so in the case that I was using my insurance Im sure I would have let it happen....This was not the case. To say the least, this is BAD business. They knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Lets have some honest business please! It wasnt about the price... It was the underhanded sales methods. AKA... HUSTLING!!!!!!!!!!!
Ill keep it short and to the point. Very disappointed. First time customer = last time customer. Technician never showed up. We waited the entire 5 hour window +30 minutes (worse than dealing with the cable companies). Not a single courtesy call. The local shop never answered after CS transferred me twice between 3:30 and 4:30 (Pooler). Appointment was set a week ago. Cut off by an online CS rep abruptly. I guess because it was getting close to closing time. Appointment cancelled without it being requested for a reschedule. Thought I selected a reputable company from my insurances list, but now I know I did not. If I could give 0 stars, then I would. Safelite needs to review technician training, and especially review CS policy if they franchise out there locations and company name. Lack of respect for customer time = zero respect for customers.

Safelite has some awesome people in Pooler! Greg(Crotalus) is awesome with treating each vehicle with care. He was able to go over the care and maintenance to make sure I didnt do anything that would compromise the glass. He also put some preventive primer on the spot where I hit my garage door. I will definitely come back again but not for hitting the garage door!
They keep changing the price and giving the run around when dealing with insurance estimate and really just best if you find another place to deal with your car glass

This is the second time that I have dealt with this particular Safelite location and the service has been horrible. The first time I had a door glass replaced and had to take it back two times to get installation issues corrected. Currently I have been waiting two weeks to have my windshield replaced due to it being ordered incorrectly at least twice, even after providing a photo of the camera built into the windshield along with texting a copy of the VIN from my insurance policy. Today after the third attempt with an incorrect windshield, an excellent employee (Ryan) put me in touch with the Jacksonville location. I am supposed to hear back from the manager in Jacksonville today after he speaks with the BMW dealer. I am hopeful that this nightmare will finally come to an end. It just shouldn’t be this hard.

I made an appointment a week ago. My appointment was supposed to be today. I got a text this morning saying my technician would be here between 12:00PM and 5:00PM. I live 25 minutes from the shop. I paid a lot of money extra to have the tech come to me. Due to Covid-19 I was supposed to leave my keys on the dashboard which I did. I had a lot of things I needed to do today and would have loved to get them done but I had a 5 hour window to wait on my technician. Also, HE had a 5 hour window to get here and do the job. Here I am at 6:30 and still NO SHOW. This is terrible customer service and I would love to have my windshield replaced ASAP. And to have my payment for having them come to me taken off my invoice. The only good thing about safelite is there helpline team. When you have a bad experience and I guarantee you will.... the people on the helpline phone are the most kindhearted people and they will help fix your problems! Other than that, Get it together safelite.

I was informed my windshield did not come in....made appointment 2 weeks in advance. Just sent me a text saying moved appointment to following Monday. Rarely do I post a negative review; however, after my experience with 3 different vehicles on 3 different occasions with this location I must. If one customer has the same poor service three times, the problems at the location are systemic and pervasive. The first time over a year ago they ordered the incorrect glass and asked me to reschedule at the center. I did and not enough technicians came to work so I had to reschedule. Which I did. On the second vehicle 6 months ago I made an appointment, that had to be rescheduled because someone didnt show up to work. The repair was adequate and was water tight but visually was substandard. Im not sure why I even tried last week, but they are local and I thought maybe after this amount of time their issues were fixed. They billed my cc for the repair earlier this week. The appointment was today and they were to come to my location. I received a text and email with my technicians name. When the phone call came, someone else related that my technician did not make it to work today and that another technician quit this morning. I could reschedule in over a week. I could make an appointment tomorrow if I could bring it in. I did then cancelled. There are more professional places that are not as close, but when I called were professional and helpful. Cant imagine how Safelite allows this franchise to continue to give their company such a bad name.

Had a rock chip my windshield. Brad was the technician who worked on my jeep and he was very professional and polite. He also did a great job! My windshield looks good as new like nothing ever happened. It only took about half an hour. Thanks Brad!
The technician was amazing. I was worried about scratches and damages while replacing the windshield. Technician was able to explain in detail what he will be doing, he was patient while answering my questions, he was very professional. He was able to ease my anxiety about damages by doing so. He stated that it will take about 45-50 minutes, and he was done in 30!!! He cleaned up everything and the windshield looks like it was never replaced from factory, only better. I never write reviews but in this case I decided to do so because they provided such an exceptional service!
For a 9 oclock appointment I was gonna just wait for my car front driver side window shouldnt take too long the kid in the bad explained there were 2 people ahead of me so ok no problem still shouldnt take too long he began his excuse he had 2 8AM appointments ok kid you do realize its 9 now so youre telling me in a full hour you have got nothing done.. work ethic is going extinct but unfortunately many of us have other stuff to take care of its now 10 and still nothing has gotten done the only thing pleasant about this experience was the lady at the front desk
Appointment was supposed to be between 8-12 and its about to be 1. Still no show. Yall overbook your workers and this is ridiculous. Also - stayed on the phone over an hour earlier the first time waiting for someone to pick up the dang phone... I hung up and got tired of waiting. Called again and it still took about 30 minutes for someone to answer. People have lives and cant be waiting around! Yes, you come to us, but when the client has multiple things to do and places to be in one day... This is insane. Better be a good job on my windshield after all of this.

This started out as an insurance claim and should have went off without a hitch, however the experience turn bad at the start. Even after providing them with my VIN they managed to order the wrong glass and quote the wrong price. I didnt find this out until I took the first day off to make the appointment and the installer showed up but was unable to install the windshield. Several days later 2nd attempt ended with the replacement windshield being damaged on arrival and a 2nd wasted day off from work. At this point I was going to have to come out of pocket for the windshield so I canceled my insurance claim and schedule attempt number 3. It was at this point I was informed that since it was no longer an insurance claim I would have to pay a higher none discounted price. I then decided to cut my losses and look for another company to do business with. I decided to go with a local small business and saved over 50% of the cost Safelite was attempting to take from me. Live and learn I guess.
Had Keith come out to my job to work on my truck. He was fast, polite and professional. He did an excellent job with no issues. I’m requesting Keith when I have my other vehicles windshield replaced.

Did not use them. Was put on hold and the recording encouraged me to go on line. Didnt want to go on line. I wanted to talk to someone local in my area. I hung up and called another local business. There were here the next day. The internet isnt great for everything.
Avoid this company! Their technician, Terry, decided he was done for the day and didnt show up to replace our windshield. I called at a little before 5pm and was assured he was still coming. NO PHONE CALL OR TEXT OR EMAIL update...at 8pm there was still no technician and all stores were closed. I got on FB and sent a private message. Brandon responded asking for my phone number and would have someone contact me. NOBODY DID. This morning we had to call and fight to get an appointment. Now Im sitting here at the shop waiting. The technician had to be called this morning, woken up, and bring the windshield in. He dropped it off with no explanation as to why he didnt do the job yesterday. Terry needs to be fired. Safelite needs to communicate better.

Office staff have terrible customer service skills and attitudes for the most part. Service tech could run circles around them. He was nice, provided all information and did a great job!
Safelite replaced my windshield at my home a week ago and I was not happy with the result, so I made an appointment to have it reinstalled at their office. It was an unexpectedly pleasant experience. They started the repair immediately, kept me informed of their progress, and the repair was both quick and perfect. I am writing this review because of the way I was treated. It was more than just professional and polite. Everyone there was genuinely concerned that I was taken care of and they treated me more as a friend than a customer from start to finish. I found another company in the area that was less expensive but chose Safelite because of their reputation and I do not regret it. These are genuinely nice people who want you to be pleased with their work and product. I am.
Very professional service
My windshield was impacted with a rock on the interstate on 12/7/17 resulting in a crack that continued to grow as I traveled home. I contacted Safelite via telephone to schedule an appointment and they were able to schedule a visit the next morning. The tech, Steven, contacted me to confirm his arrival time, did arrive as promised and handled the replacement in a very professional manner. I wouldnt hesitate to use Safelite again.
Set up an appointment through my insurance, day of I called during the last half hour of the appointment window (8-12noon) and was given an excuse regarding why the tech would not be arriving and an excuse on why I had not been called. Requested the manager of the store contact me today so that I have some assurance that future appointments will not be another waste of my time. Here it is 4:55PM and no one has called, and no one answers the phone when I call.
Very disappointed. Had to go back 2 times, after the initial, to get it right. The guy that works in the Pooler shop is very unsocial/rude.I could not ever talk to anyone to voice my concerns. I am very unhappy!
Not very experienced staff
Late Saturday afternoon of this long weekend, we were in a jam with the windshield of our RV. Jonathan at Satellite, kindly provided a temporary measure that allowed us to continue to our journey. While knowing full well repeat business not likely because we are from Canada and just passing through, this company provided terrific customer service! Hats off to you and Happy Thanksgiving!
