They are ALWAYS out of cat & dog food not to mention alot more items .. Takes forever to get back into stock .. Hardly any lines open ..

At least food lion has friendly cashiers, Walmart has just one. Just one cashier. Bogo, every day. And country ham in the deli.

Always clean and service is almost always good. Drive up order is convenient and quick. Prices are generally a little higher for the convenience of shopping at a local in town store. Would give 5 stars but sometimes checkout lines are long.

Food Lion in Poquoson has greatly expanded its offerings since farm fresh closed a few years ago. They have hot fried chicken, in store sushi, expanded fresh cut fruit. I would like more fresh fish options and in some areas they still have fewer offerings in some jarred and canned areas. They are not fresh market, whole foods, trader joes, Their prices are good and weekly meals shopping is nice. The other places make an occasional little outing.

I use the app and order groceries for my mom. They are always ready to pick up on time or before. The service in the parking lot is quick and friendly. The substitutions if any, always seem to be thoughtful and adequate. Thanks for a job well done!

Awful!! This was the absolutely worst experience i have ever had and I have been going there for over 20 years. The cashier was rude. She bagged meats with rubbing alcohol. She dropped my container of grspe tomatoes on the floor picked them up and asked if I wanted them. The bags were away from here and she was throwing items in the bags. There is more but even though I live in the town I will not be using that one

The Deli is weak. The product is fine but the employees in that department arent very good. No urgency to wait on customers. Theyll routinely spend several minutes finishing some other busy task before they even acknowledge someone standing at the deli counter. If youre the only person in line, 6-8 minutes to get 2 pounds of cold cuts. This happened about a half dozen times in the past month.

Great employees. Very helpful. Clean store and parking lot. Only 4 stars because unfortunately since Farm Fresh closed, FL has been unable to keep the store as stocked as it used to. I hope the warehouse gets better getting them the inventory they need.

Was not happy about the store not following the governors ruling on wearing mask, saw 4 people shopping with out mask, when I questioned store employee, was told Corps stand was not to informed it.

I was worried that going the Friday before Super Bowl, that Food Lion might be running low on some things like Red Kidney beans for my Chili or mini pepperoni for a pizza dip. However, Food Lion was very well stocked and many checkers were working to prevent long lines. Thank you to all the Food Lion employees ❤

This store is much improved over what it was a couple of years ago. Better fruits and vegetables section as well as nicer dairy display cabinetry. Only thing I would like to see is a more robust import/craft canned beer selection. Great selection of bottles, but sometimes glass is not a good option.

You know, people give it a bad rep but honestly, being the only grocer in poquoson it is doing a pretty good job. Ive never not found something I was looking for.

I have been coming here for years and I have never, not even once been disappointed. Management is very polite and helpful. Items are priced well. My 2 year old loves coming here and that has to tell u something. 5 stars from me for sure! Keep up the good work !

In and out quick tonight pricey except for sale items. Better than they used to be. Didnt shop there for several years due to the really rude staff and poor service but now that Farm Fresh closed there isnt anything else in town.

Because this is the only grocery store in Poquoson they are always super busy. The staff does a fine job of helping and having many checkout lanes open, but there is only so much that can be done. Dont expect to quickly run in and out unless your there at very odd times.

Terrible management. Not qualified in any way shape or form to lead. Highly recommend any other grocery store than the Poquoson Food Lion.

Its a great supermarket. The people are helpful and friendly. The prices are nearly as low as Wal-Mart especially if you use the mvp card and its much easier to shop when you just need groceries.

I really like the food lion in Poquoson. I usually go to one on 134 but dont like as well since remodeling one in Poquoson more like original.

The store was very busy with shoppers trying to great ready for the storm but they had shelves stocked and cashiers at the ready, the only thing I didnt get was Bananas (completely out).

A worker at the Food Lion in Poquson was so helpful with finding hamburger buns and was so nice that i called back to the store to thank him and the store manager for also helping me find kool-aid i wish every Food Lion was like thiers so thanks Food Lion for a great visit.

All in all just a nice local store everybody in their treats you like your family prices are pretty comparable and reasonable and just overall I really enjoy shopping there

I use to love the store but the renovation and moving everything I use to know where everything was not now and the price for each item has gone up

They have the best rotisserie chickens around. Great service, everythings always well stocked, and produce fresh.

I frequent this establishment and have paid for small bills with coin rolls several times. The banks are closed because of the virus so i tried to go spend some coing rolls for a bill under 6$ and was denied service

This place is awsome. They always have what i want and are never out of stock. Its clean on the inside and can always find a convenient parking spot on the outside! The ppl there are friendly and helpful. One person in mind is Sean. Hes always goes above and beyond to help with any questions and moves his lines at a fast pace. He remembers your name and is more then happy to talk with you while getting the work at hand done! If i had one complaint it would be they NEVER have more then 2-3 registers open at a time (even when its super busy) and just redirect ppl to customer service to checkout...open more registers =)
