5 Stars across the board for AirGuard Mechanical with exception of timeliness, but that wasnt really their fault. I lost a/c during the hottest week of the year when they were swamped with service calls. I had to wait a week to get my new system installed. I could have gone with another company but I was willing to wait for the quality of service I knew I could get from AirGuard Mechanical.

I had my ac break this fall and got several quotes from several companies before getting the work done. Air mechanical was the best value not only for the cost but for the workmanship and trust of the company. They should have bonus stars for Jeff (owner)And his company. Left message on July 12th early morning. Up stairs a/c unit frozen up. Jeff responded soon after, worked me in early afternoon to do diagnostic check. Evaporator coil leaking freon. Peninsula distributor would have to order ( At least three days out). Instead of having me wait, Jeff drove to the Norfolk distributor who had the evaporator coil in stock at a less expensive price.(HRBT on Friday, wow). He was very thorough in checking and recheching pressures for leakers after installing new coil, explaining what he had to do every step of the way. His price was very reasonable. This was a 3 hour install job not counting going to Norfolk. THANK YOU JEFF.Well joining his maintenance agreement plan which is very reasonable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEN THIS COMPAMY.

Our AC went out last summer and AirGuard Mechanical came out the same day and fixed our outside unit. The technician took the time to make sure the AC was cooling properly proir to leaving and I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family. I first called him a few years back when my A/C began under performing...you guessed it...JUST outside of warranty. He called the manufacturer and politely convinced them to cover the replacement. Not only that, he checked over the rest of my system, and, a couple more tweaks later; its been running strong for years. Fast forward to the present; I noticed that my system at my new house just wasnt pumping out the heat.
