We have been going here for several years and they have really upped their game lately. Their business is split between fishermen and blue caller industrial construction crews working on the LNG plants and the widening and deepening of the Sabine Neches Waterway. You can get a hot breakfast or lunch. Pizza is available after the regular kitchen closed. Pizza is reasonably priced. Breakfast / lunch prices are in line with local norms. Figure about $10 for a burger with fries and a drink. There is a lot of quality fishing tackle available. Youll pay more than at Academy or Wal-mart, but you are right on the water and kind of in the middle of nowhere. Live bait is available - same prices as anywhere else locally. $20 for a quart of shrimp. Mullet, mud minnows, and an assortment of frozen baits are available. Staff has been friendly.

I go here every time I fish Sabine. Folks are nice, food is really good and really big. They also have a walk in beer cooler you can stand in and cool down.

Sweet little bait shop right before you cross into Louisiana from Texas. Helpful staff and deep inventory. I was able to gear myself up completely to fish from the beach in about 5 minutes. Great place!

Great service and excellent food! The blonde guy who works there was so helpful and friendly and also made me the best tasting burger Ive ever had. Theyre also stocked with everything you need for fishing.

What a little cool shop! Its a combination of everything youd want when you go fishing in the bay or surf. Live bait shrimp and minows, frozen croakers, a whole freezer full! Broke your rod? Forgot your tackle? Need a beer chest? They have all of it! Over 100 rods/reels. Plus, if Mom doesnt want to cook, they have a full kitchen for burgers, po-boys, fries and other stuff. Kids want snacks, they got those too. We ran in for a quick pit stop and ended up getting shrimp po-boys, fries and drinks. Nice place, good people, lets support them!

Great place for live bait and hot burgers

Rude service both times Ive been there. Had to wait 30min to get my bait while clerk checked out every customer that came in AFTER ME. Bathroom for customers was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. NO hand soap in your bathrooms... but plenty for sale on shelves. The guy cooking in the deli had no mask, no gloves, no hair net and clothes were filthy. He also serves customers live bait in between orders. Paid for a quart of live shrimp BOTH times and received way less!

The food is actually ok. But the place appears to be unsanitary. To be fair its a bait and tackle shop but the smell is off-putting. I only ate there out of convenience.

Very nice place customer service is wonderful. Any help you need is addressed with a professional manner. Not the cheapest place but priced right for Location and convenience. Cleaner then most overall for a dait shop / convenience store.

Caught some big ones on mullet and needed to recharge the ol’ batteries before hittin the road back home. Ordered up a burger basket, absolutely gargantuan! The best between Port Arthur and Lake Charles, bar none. The people running this place are absolute gold, Jerry, the best! We shopped for tackle while waiting for our dinner (which hit the table in no time). They have poppers and snip-snaps. Give them a try.

Great shop for its proximity to the dock, bank and tent pads! assorted hooks, leads, metal leaders and camp necessities. as of current, these guys sell frozen mullet and shrimp. we had a few pizzas from the back kitchen. Great selection on their menu for all members of the house as well as small tables. open 5am-8pm.only problem, currently, no breakfast Sunday mornings... 4 stars

The store over all is okay. Dirty restroom. Wide variety of everything but the cashier, darker skin Hispanic/native American lady was extremely rude to most customers especially out of towners

Bad customer service, would not sell me live shrimp unless I had 3 aerators with 3 separate buckets for mullet, shrimp, and Mud minnows. . . If I am buying it I can mix them if I want too. . . Not for them to decide. Also said the mullet would kill the shrimp. Hello it’s bait the fish will kill the bait ..
