Visit is always so-so. Its a very small Joann Fabrics which limits variety in art/craft supplies. I go there each time hoping the paper crafts section would carry more. This trip they had a very good selection of Tim Holtz products which is a welcome to see. Beautiful assortment of fabrics for any sewing project.

I shop here often. Friendly staff, well stocked, coupons galore! I rarely leave empty handed. The parking lot is easy access.

Great sales, great selection. 3 stars because you always have to wait in line for one cashier while theres 2-3 employees talking to each other instead of helping customers. This has happened more times than I can count. So this isnt something new.

No Restroom line 5 person long to check out !While checking out clerk is answering the phone and goes to the back of the store to check the an ability of an item while 4 people are waiting in line! Going to find another fabric store !

It has sound selection of profucts. We needed help finding some stuff and the ladies are very welling and happy to help us. Im new to sewing so having them to guide me through buying what i need is great.

I have yet to find an item that I have come in to look for. My experience with staff I have nothing to say but that it seems when they are walking the floor in an attempt to help one customer they seem to tune out to other customers as I have tried more than once to stop an employee in their tracks to ask a question and they respond with they will get back to me. I would have preferred they take a moment to hear my question.

I ordered a pair of scissors online in the morning to enable a 40% discount. I needed the special scissors that morning and drove to pick them up about an hour after I placed the order. When I arrived at the check out and told of my order I was informed that they had two hours to pick an online order, fair enough. I told the cashier I would walk the 15 feet and pick them up and bring them back to her. The cashier told the old woman at the cutting station to help me. I got to the rack and tried to remove them and realized it was locked. The old woman stared down at her cutting board until I asked for my scissors, she then looked at her store app for my order and decided that I had indeed asked for the correct item. She removed them from the rack, continuing her nasty attitude, and went to the register to enter the pickup and handed them to me. When I tried to remove them from her hand she would not let go, and just glared at me. She finally said she needed to see I.D.., this is after she stuck them out for me to grab. If Joann Fabrics would not employ such misandry women I would love to shop there versus mail ordering 99% of my sewing needs.

My local store is amazing, but their Customer Call Center SUCKS. I sat on hold for 20 minutes just to talk to someone about an order and then once someone FINALLY answered, I sat on hold an additional 10 minutes just to find out that I needed to contact the store to make changes to my order. I based my star rating on the call center service and NOT the store. The store itself gets 5 stars. Even though on occasion they havent had what I needed, but help me get it ordered online and have it shipped to the store to save me shipping.

I couldnt get the coupon on my phone to come up do you think the employee would help me? No just stood there waiting for me to pay and leave. Guess that not part of her job.

Went here for some material to make a tutu for a client. Found what I needed quickly, tulle, elastic, white felt and a Minnie button. In and out in 15 minutes. Love this place! I go here for all my fabric needs because I get coupons regularly and I have my own UPC number. I use it when I shop and in a calender month, use it 3 times and you get $5 off your next purchase the following month. I also have one for my business and one for the girl scouts.

This store has friendly staff that is helpful and knowledgeable. Now there are times when the lines are long and you will have to wait a bit. In spite of that, staff remains cheerful and you always feel that they are doing their best. It would be wonderful if the store was bigger and able to stage classes.

Joann fabric is one of my favorite stores! I love the sales, the variety of products, and the coupons! I do wish this location had more than 2 registers, and perhaps a few more employees to keep the cutting and checkout lines down. I do like their new buy online and pickup in store option.

A smaller store with not alot of stuff. Couldnt find what I needed and had to buy online.

Got part of what I went in for. Poor selection of cotton yarn. Couldnt get a bright red, Christmas green, burgundy or brown. Went to use an online gift card and clerks had not been trained how to process them so needed to call in for help. Clerk was very nice and apologized for how long it took but better training would make it less stressful for them. Fortunately I was not Im a hurry.

Store always seems to be busy. But there is only ever one register open. Sales are great and app is terrific. Love to save. Only have bought yarn here.

The store is good in general but I was attended by one of the girls who works there and she was mean and throwing everything I’m a customer and I don’t care if you have personal problems if you don’t want to do your job then go home I don’t have a reason why I have to deal with her actitud I stopped going there

This is one of the smaller Joann stores Ive seen. However, it contained a lot of fabrics with good variety. The products were well organized and displayed. The store itself feels small and out of date. Prices seemed higher than at other Joann stores (is this possible?) The store was busy and the staff was busy assisting.

I visit JoAnn stores on a regular basis with my wife. I usually just look around while she shops. The store is well organized and she is very happy with her experience. I do have some feedback. I am very tall and everything about 6-7 feet off the ground is caked in dust. It is probably not noticeable to most customers. Like years of dust. They changed some of the metal displays a year or so ago so the dust has not built up to previous records in those areas. I think it is probably fabric fibers but still. Please get out a step stool and dust once a year.

The store is great. Just WAY under staffed. Need more employees especially during season. Waiting in a line half way to the back of the store and no one on the floor to help. The girls working were very efficient but needed help.

Great selection of fabrics, as well as a great selection in each department.. I have found that their prices are a bit more than Michaels craft store, but with coupons its not too bad. The employees are always friendly to m, but more importantly very nice to my child.

Reminds me of what fabric stores are supposed to look like. Thankful that they let us use the restrooms, though they did not have to be so on top of us while we were trying to go. Was not wowed by the yarn selection nor the need to be pushed to buy what they had by the register. Great slection on fleece and knit fabrics.

Honestly, it like any other craft store. One employee, a young Male. Was helpful and attentive. One employee was completely oblivious and not helpful.

This store is great for selection and always has new things ..but the check out process in season is 30 min. Plus staff is nowere to be seen if you have a question about something you want to buy. Staff know little about products.. Wont be stopping by any time soon..

The store itself feels incredibly old. They have so many products squeezed into the store and not enough space between the aisle fixtures. Very claustrophobic feeling.

I love JoAnns, Id give 5 stars if not for one issue. Ive wanted a craft table for awhile, it sells for over $100., I attempted to use sales coupons several times & was told I couldnt. Even when coupons say sale items included, or even if I tried taking the savings from the original price. Under no circumstances could their own coupons allow me to save money on a table that varys in price from $120.-$150. I find this very disappointing.

I had gone in just to browse but an item caught my eye. There was no price. An associate walked with me and scanned it. She told me the price, also that it was going on sale soon and what the sale price would be! Since it was the only one in the store, I chose to buy it then. Its a 10- drawer rolling storage cart. Metal with plastic drawers. K havent assembled it yet.

I THINK ALL MY FRIENDS AND I WILL GO ELSEWHERE FROM NOW ON... I ALSO THINK I WILL WRITE A NICE LONG LETTER TO THE EDITOR DESCRIBING HOW TERRIBLE YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS...ALONG WITH THAT I WILL WRITE REVIEWS EVERYWHERE I POSSIBLY CAN DROP ONE...SHAME ON YOU... It doesnt matter what Joann Fabrics I go too, it seems that they are all understaffed which makes for poor customer service.

The JoAnns in Port Charlotte is an old, unattractive store with no available restrooms. There are NEVER enough employees, and today there were 12 people in line to pay with one cashier and one at the cutting table. Two people in line in front of me left without their items, several people came in the door, looked at the line and left. The one cashier said her manager just quit and they cant keep employees. Its really bad.
