They never have what we go there for even though it says they have the item we want online but when we get there they don’t have the item and to top it off we are tax-exempt and they always have an issue locating us on their computers even though we are registered and then when you ask them to check again they have an attitude.. the store is a mess and nothing is where it should be. Good luck in finding someone to help you also. When you ask somebody for help they say this is not my department (well then Why are you in this department if it’s not yours?)This Home Depot needs to close down or they need to hire people that know what they’re doing

Staff was helpful in selecting and purchasing a hot water heater but the installation handoff contractor did not perform within the timeframe advertised. Same Day install turned into a 4 day wait.

Thumbs down I had tried to go to three Home Depot to replace a refrigerator water filter. And, I looked up the Item to see if it was in stock before going. I go to the store, looked for the Items they dont have it. I had an Associate assist me and he did the same by looking it up on the stores inventory log. The log listed 5 in stock, but looking within the stock and display was a big miss.The Gentle was even kind enough to look up the item in three nearby stores, all listed the item to be in multiples in stock. But It wasn t so. I was even given the telephone numbers so I could call ahead and have it Checked before driving to the store. However, the automated telephone would switch me to a line that I waited on for 10 mins without anyone picking up. After check another store and the same result, I gave up. How ever, I was able to get my water filters at that other home Improvement store with the blue and white logo.

Yesterday Anthony M. helped me make keys. His attention to detail and overall can do attitude was amazing. He is an asset to the company.

You know, I love home Depot and like how close this one is, but every time I go into it, which is several times a week, they never have the item I need. Its always missing. Not sure if corporate just doesnt care or thinks others are too close, but they really need to fix this issue. I often have to drive 40 minutes to an hour round trip to go to other home Depots just to get the item I need. Its really inconvenient. Sometimes, I have my parents from Jersey bring me things from their home Depot because the Stamford home Depot doesnt have what I need.Some items recently I have needed and they havent had:Ceiling light box (any type or size, they had 0 of). I had to go to the Bronx to get this.The electrical knock outs 3/8ths for my electrical panelSchedule 40 4 inch pipe. There are 2 different sizes. I need the larger one and thats only available at the Palisades.An 18 cu electrical switch box - odd in shape - for thin walls. I had to go to the Bronx for this.Tear away beads for sheetrock against wood. Had to go to Norwalk.Extended screws for electrical box with extender. Since we were in Maine, went there on vacation because Stamford didnt have any.3/8 bolts for our boiler. Had to go down a size and use washers to hold down our gaskets.15 amp combo arc fault tolerant semens breaker. I see they are in stock now, but I needed to get them from Norwalk.A 4 inch drywall nife (cheap one). They ran out, so I had to buy the more expensive one.Utility sink next to washer. Wasnt available in Stamford, only Norwalk.Etc.Can we please get better inventory at this home Depot?Also every time we order stuff shipped to this home Depot, it takes forever and often is damaged. Case in point with our baseboard heaters that were all dented, or our tile for our kitchen that was all shattered.

This Home Depot has the most beautiful ladies working there. And they are always friendly and smiling!!!

I didn’t realize how close The Home Depot in Port Chester was to our home! It’s incredibly convenient to Route 287 and Interstate 95. The staff was helpful and I was in and out of the store with my new telescoping pole in 10Minutes!

This isnt much different than any other Home Depot Ive been to. If you been to one then this version wont surprise you. Its huge, inexpensive, employees arent particularly helpful or friendly but if you know what you need then come here for low prices. I was here yesterday just for plants/flowers and it was messy and lots of areas were disorganized but we got what we needed at a low price.

Home depot employees at this location are surprisingly helpful and knowledgeable. Im general, I would say well above average. They are quick to help with no attitude. Many retail employees seem aggravated when asked to help (**cough do what they get paid to do cough**) but not here! Great job team.

Store is closed. Gates down. One person that was guarding outside said they are having major distributor issues. Lots of items are backordered for unknown time. Home depot Corp decided to move available items they had in stock to other larger home depots.

Took me a very long time to find what I was looking for. The staff werent helpful and ignored you unless you chased them down. Finally found what I think I needed though I had hoped there would have been someone there willing to help me solve my problem.

Its home depot, so you gotta give it something. Its difficult to get assistance in most of their stores, you could easily walk for 20min without finding help.

Its ok if you know where to find your products. The outdoor & garden section is even more disorganized than the rest of the store. Assume spending vast amounts of time hunting down assistance

Whoever the tall Caucasian female with curly hair and glasses working the cashier is, I’ve never seen such rude customer service, witnessed this lady throw attitude at a person with a hearing aid just because they didn’t hear her explanation, I hope you address this Home Depot

You can usually find what you want. I think the best part about HD is the app which tells you the aisle and location of the items that are in stock.

Home Depot is my go to place, My only complaint would the the empty shelves when the product is in the overhead and you sometimes have to wait a while for help. Other than that the customer service in Port Chester has really improved tremendously... Good group of Associates and Managers

Used to be a great store but now it seem a lot of the times I go there and whatever Im looking for is out of stock.It happened again tonight,Maybe its due to the pandemic but Im not sure but hopefully they get back to normal you used to be able to find everything there.A year or two ago I would have given them 5 stars

What a waste of time. No lock oil. Asked from 5 people for furnace pump lubricant. They had no idea what I was talking about. I should have used Amazon to start with. Took 2 minutes and delivery in 2 days.

Great to have home Depot I wish they would stay open or open again till 10:00 and my only issue is that there is never enough cashiers. Instead they have people telling you where to go which register but in reality if these people were on registers we would not have to wait online

The staff are friendly but the parking at this Home Depot is awful, especially if you have a large vehicle. Avoid this store on Saturdays. The parking lot was reduced by half to expand the garden center and serve as a storage for other materials.If you are buying large materials like lumber go to the Home Depot In Stamford or New Rochelle.

Home Depot.... Where calm goes to die! First off I would like to say that the people that work there are very nice and as helpful as can be. The store itself had a lot of things of mediocre quality but if you need something in a hurry, this is the place to go. If you are looking for high end perfection.... Drive on by. The parking spaces are made for Barbie toy cars. If you have a passenger you will need to pull out to let that person in or out of the car. I made the mistake of going to the garden center on a Saturday afternoon. Mistake? Huge one. Two cash registers open with never ending lines. So this is in part, is why you can check calmness at the door. I take responsibility for this. However, the rudeness of the customers is over the top. Im not only talking about towards me but the way they look at the employees. Come on people.

I had a great experience here in the paint section. I wanted to work on a project for my son’s room, and a desk. He‘s very picky but we picked out several different colors and one of the employees named Carla was very helpful. I also needed help with an item in plumping because no one was there, but then the same lady from paint helped me again.Very good staff- when you find the right ones

Convenient for home repairs and materials but becoming more and more the most disorganized business around. In addition, forget delivery services since to date every size and type order I have placed has been late, missing items or completely wrong. To add injury to insult, now COVID-19 makes it easy to rip you off because they dont ask for a signature but instead allow the flunky drivers to sign saying everything was perfect. I only shop there when it is convenient for me - check online since this is now a norm for Home Depot.

Entry is normalized. No significant entry delays. Recently I was assisted by multiple sales associate that offered hands on advice and expedited me locating my items. Even took the time to physically locate the items.Thanks and appreciated the assistance.

I did not have a good experience, slow service and nasty attitude. A woman named Elloise from plumping did not want to help me find an item and said there was zero then walked off, when another associate found it for me. Another thing, these associates seem to hide from the customers when we have questions.

Very sparse and staff shelves not restocked many items up on higher racks then up there for days takes 10 to 15 minutes even to get somebody to bring something down and they bring two items down instead of restocking the shelf almost with an attitude not being said like its not my job they hand you what you need and throw one extra one on the shelf instead of restocking the shelf some attitude

We needed a bunch of new doors. It took these guys 3 months to come to our home. Then they sent 4 different people to measure, none if whom even knew each other (they outsourced the work so we had a bunch of strangers in our home). Then we paid and waited and waited and waited. Suddenly we were refunded with no information. Chased after them for a month and they had decided they couldnt change doors. No explanation, no apology. We wasted almost a year with HD and had strangers in our home constantly. Something extremely fishy going on. Basically, if you need real work done, dont go to these guys. They are terrible.

Went to buy thermometer and detergent. All brand Detergents priced wrong the guy in Aisle said customer put at wrong place, blame the customer we took a whole line detergents and placed it wrong and it was for all the sizes spoke to manager again blame it on the customer 1 get it if its 1unit not 6 units left it asked that same manager where can i find body thermometer points at Aissle 2 it wasnt there and i go back to detergent aisle guy he points another aisle had asked 3 people including manager all 3 pointed out 3 different Aissle finally got Andrew who walked me to the right place and where was it right in front of checking counters where I met the managerexcellent service thank you Andrew and Maria cashier for your help

I love the curbside pick up they added. I got to sit in my car and literally had to wait only about 2 mins for them to bring out my order. I really like the workers at this location. They are always very helpful.

Wow, an organized HD for a change. Big, spacious, clean and staffed well. This Home Depot made me happy. I picked up a few things with a friend. Parking was easy. This retail outlet was in organized shape. It was not a mad house. Lines to check out were fast. All items were easy to find. These places are hit or miss but I was satisfied. Go during the day if you can. It is slower. This is a good choice. I liked it. Try it.

Good luck trying to find someone to help you. You can ask but beware of the people that work there . If you are not asking for a person in that dept, they immediately tell you there dept and that that is not their responsibility. They will make you feel as you bothered them or inconvenienced them from their conversations or their time on their Phone or computers. Highly suggest to go there to look, but buy online or elsewhere. Just like their slogan, Where doers get more done, by themselves, Dont you dare ask for help, or prepare yourself for confrontation

It was a good spot, the staff helped me however they could, it just happened that they didnt have what I was looking for.

The staff here is super helpful. I went there looking for a kickspace heater which I had found on their website. But I was disappointed because the item was out of stock -- even though the website claimed there were two left. The staff was able to confirm, and one said to me, if the website says we have two, it means we got none. If you plan to buy anything fancy, I suggest calling ahead. Sometimes they pick up the phone -- which can take as long as going there -- but at least you dont have to drive.

Worst electrical department Ive ever seen. If you need electrical supplies, dont waste your time here.

I ordered some items for curbside pickup not knowing they closed that service at 6PM. Well, I entered the store, and of course everyone looked at me like I was a ufo because I have no mask..What am I thinking?? We are still in the covid days and I went to the store without mask????lol but one of the employee was super nice and gave me a mask. The customer service at this place is super top notch.

I went to the Port Chester Home Depot today to buy a paint I found online but when I went in, the paint I wanted wasnt available in the store. The NICEST employee named Ashleigh saw the confusion on my face and came to my rescue. She went above and beyond to help me find a paint that was in stock and the in-store paint was even NICER than the paint I had picked online. Ashleigh made my Home Depot experience so much easier with her help. Thank you again Ashleigh!

Average Home Depot store.Convenient location close to I-95 and I-287 with plenty of parking.Regular building supplies available but the item you need is not in stock.Customer service could be better too. Finding someone if you need assistance is not easy.

Staff here is generally not very knowledgeable or helpful. The cashiers especially seem more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. The garden center is a mess, half dead plants crammed together, few smaller perennials for easier planting- they’re all huge, lousy selection. Always way overcrowded too, the parking lot is chock full no matter what time you come at. And forget about the line to get in now with covid restrictions, you’ll be waiting all day long just to buy one thing. I’m sticking with the smaller hardware stores and garden centers now, it’s not worth fighting the crowds and disorganization just to save a dollar or two here, I end up wasting half a day every time I come here.

The place was really ghetto. I waited and hour and 30 minutes until someone helped me. They hen gave me the wrong order and I had to drive back to get it. They then proceeded to guilt trip me into having the wrong order asking Why I didnt check it. They also had more sass than Madea and did not seem interesting in helping their customers. It was a horrible experience, do not go and shop at this home depot.

As part of ongoing construction in our home, we found that home depot is a perfect place to find, well, almost everything. From bathroom accessories to gardening, we were able to find so many things we were missing here. Not always the highest quality, but pricing is good and so the selection of merchandise.

Tried curb side pick up. Took 30 minutes, they couldnt remember the last name, they couldnt get the order number right, came out with the wrong item and then said they couldnt find the order. We finally left and will have to go back to pick up the order.

Great place with curbside pickup which is easy and efficient. The parking lot is somewhat small though.

Nice place kept clean for the most part... always busy but usually well stocked. Great location and easy to get to. Also isles are well organized with easy to find items. Job well done

Went to the Home Depot in Port Chester and being elderly, I guess I wasnt walking fast enough for the young man behind me and when I finally got out of the aisle I heard him make a derogatory comment. This really ruined my day. I tried to say something nasty to him but he flew by me and didnt hear me. Too bad! Other than that, I had a good shopping experience.

I don’t typically post nor am I typically impressed by Home Depot service. However, Richard Williams in the PVC and piping section of Home Depot deserves 5+ stars. Richard is a visionary and an artist when it comes to creating stuff with PVC. But most importantly, he was thoughtful and helpful. In fact, I explained what I was trying to do (build a stand-up paddle board rack for under a porch with the kicker being that the rack needed to roll the boards on). Richard explained how we could create our own roller by using a larger pvc pipe around a smaller one. He spent 1.5hrs cutting and fitting pvc and creating the perfect SUP rack. Photo has kids surf boards on it, but our SUP which are wider and longer will be on here as soon as we take the rack to PA. Now Home Depot needs to find a Richard for every aisle!

Rude staff.My mother and I went to purchase two ACs we were helped by male staff. We asked why our ACs had yellow stickers and they said that’s how they come. We went to wait in line and then we got to the cashier she asked “where did we get the ACs from? And we said it was on one of the end caps in the sections for ACs she had us follow her to the customer service area they told her they weren’t meant to be sold and they should have not been out. She then proceeded to push the cart to a group of female staff and they were huddled up. They told us that we needed to go get another cart and go get other ACs. I told them I was in a rush and I didn’t have another cart if they could help us get the ACs because they were heavy. They replied, “it’s not that hard get the ACs and put it in the cart” and i said you are taking our cart, they replied “ there’s another behind you” which had stuff in. And I took the stuff of it and put it aside. I told them they were being rude and that we are asking them to help us because that is their job and to see their manager. Another staff replied she’s over there you can go tell her, we are doing our job. I replied you are not doing your job you’re being rude and unprofessional they all walked away talking back whatever they were saying. Very unprofessional. I have never dealt with this kind of disrespect at a store. I have worked I. Retail for many years however I would have never been able to speak NOR would I want to speak to a customer the way they did.

Love the store! Always have but you should go in knowing what you need. It is next to impossible to find an employee who will be helpful or knowledgeable. I will give credit to the cashiers theyre always smiling and always polite and helpful

I live very close to the new rochelle home depot but Ive started driving a little further to this port Chester location. The roads are easier to negotiate and the parking lot is much saner.
