Completely disorganized and its compounded by the worst national customer support and a primitive interactive phone system for ordering prescriptions that hangs up because it gets easily confused. A 20 minute phone wait is typical to speak with someone. No big improvement as theyre clueless if pressed to speak about something a little challenging.Think of this location as a sardine can. Parking is a nightmare and always squeezed full and the employees are like little fishies with their heads missing.
Go elsewhere. This is a shady place where a random guy just forced me to pay him $70 CASH (no receipts obviously) during Covid because I parked there and literally crossed the street to ask a staff member at Ace if they had something. Came back seconds later to pick up a prescription at Walgreens and was literally robbed. This guy made me go get cash at the bank. I will NEVER go back there. Horrible experience. Just horrible
The store was ok! Employee was helpful to guide us to get our orders!!!
All the negative reviews is because they dont have patience. Put yourself in their shoes and see what they deal with. Please give them a break 🤨
Staff is absolutely clueless. I know its not an easy time in the world, but every single person working there operates like it is their first day on the job. Word of advice, do not even bother to order online for pickup. Just go in and make the purchase outright. It took me 20 minutes to actually begin the transaction for one prepaid item.
Even though conveniently located, not worth the visit. Some of the staff at the pharmacy are extremely rude. They have an enormous lack of willingness to help and often don’t have the medication prescribed. I’ve had multiple aggravations with them so not going back. CVS at the Rye Ridge Shopping Center found the solution to my issue and were super nice and polite - easy parking too.
Horrible customer service. Eveytime I call to find out about my prescription I have to wait more than 15 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Today someone picked up three times just to tell me to keep waiting without even letting me speak for a second. If there is a phone I think someone should answer and assist customers and not just say please hold and forget about the phone.
Very slow and inexperienced staffIf they are having people make appointments, lest they can do is be prepared when the first customer shows up 9am in the morning and not have them wait 30mins so they can “set things up” — total disappointment
Terrible parking experience, always full and no where to stand while waiting for a spot to empty. Other than that its a regular drug store.
The second you pull in, you are immediately greeted by two guys sitting on paint buckets with a booting device and signs that say “warning if you do not walk directly into Walgreens you will be booted. Then when you walk in the store every single sale sign requires you to do some kind of math. For example “buy the first one at full price, get the second one 30% off and the third 50% off”. It’s impossible to just get a good sale price when you want to purchase one item. Then, when you get to the register, it’s another embarrassment when they try and pedal their charity scams on you. They look you square in the eye and say would you like to donate one dollar, three dollars or five dollars? Then you can’t even get past the credit card screen without pushing a series of buttons to tell them that you don’t want to donate money to whatever they’re peddling. Then, God for bid you don’t have a Walgreens card, they won’t do what ShopRite and Stop & Shop do, they will never scan a card for you. They will put an application in your face and demand a drivers license or passport or you cannot get the sale price. Since when do you need a drivers license or passport just to get the sale price at a local pharmacy? And, one of the biggest profit centers the have is still killing people with cigarettes. CVS took the initiative to stop. Walgreens doesn’t care about customers in any capacity. They’ll kill you with cigarettes, embarrass you with ssking for donations and then they’ll boot or tow your car if you stay in the store too long. Please please leave Port Chester and make way for a more “community based” drugstore. Please leave.
Nayeli was a great help with assisting me to get photos from my phone onto printed paper. Thank you again Nayeli!
The employees are great but it seems they are very short staffed, be patient!! It’s my favorite walgreens
The only place where you get $5 or $10 off at check out very often even if you dont know how much rewards you have and dont ask for them.
Terrible service.
On the smaller side.convenient to downtown.
Awesome ppl there
Tried to buy alcohol and made everyone in my party for ID
First and last time buying at this Walgreens, manager Mercedes was so rude when I try to use my coupon!
Very beautiful
Very good
This store was alright
The staff inside the pharmacy are people who do not do a good job when you go to pick up the medicine if there are two prescriptions, they only give you one year because they do not want to do the job of checking if there are more prescriptions for you. sad that they give people like this a job
