This place is the BEST!! I cant even thank Don enough. We were heading out from Northport Long Island to head up the Hudson for one last boat trip of the season in our 34 Sea Ray Sundancer. It was rough seas. A pully went and the belt came off. We didnt have a spare pully. We headed into the closest port, on o e motor, still super windy, the waves calmed down and we picked up a mooring. Started calling local marinas, yacht clubs, anything that might possibly have the part. After a lot of nos and we dont know who might have its we got a call back from Don. He asked us a few questions and for the serial # on our motor. We sent a picture. Next thing you know he called back and had our pully. It was too rough to come into the local dock on one engine, so he offered to deliver it!!! He was a life saver!! We never couldve gone home in that weather on one engine. He took his own boat out in the crazy wind a nd delivered the part. What an awesome guy. Cant say enough about boaters ... there are still plenty of great people in this world. I hope his good deed is repaid 10 fold. ... one more thing, he would not take a dime from us. Don, you rock!!! You made our day, saved our trip!❤ please let us know if u are ever in Northport, would LOVE to repay the favor.
