The margarita with the beer tipped over into it just tasted like corona, and nothing like a margarita. The arroz con pollo was alright it wasn’t what I was expecting, but my friend loved her grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. The flan was tasty and the tiramisu was also good. Overall it was alright, they did have a singer for entertainment she had talent!
One star because of the sleazy way they automatically add an 18% gratuity to our bill for only 4 people, then provide a helpful breakdown of various tip recommendations. I left Very bad a proper cash tip PLUS the full amount on the bill. Only when I got home did I realize I paid a double tip.
This post honors the phrase that says: Not all that glitters is gold. Unfortunately after driving for 1 1/2 I got to the place. The customer service is very good from the valet parking to the hostess and waiters. The juices are very rich, but the food, both mine and the one my son ordered, was another matter. I am Colombian and I know that our flavor depends a lot on each region but Im Paisa and that tray was very disappointing. Some tasteless and thick beans that seemed to be 3 days old and those pork rinds so hard that they couldnt even bite into each other, that plate to be worth more than 20 dollars and only the meat could be eaten you can imagine the rest. Now it is my opinion and it was my bad experience and the colors are for taste. Perhaps for others what is bad or tasteless or thick for me is rich for them. For my part I will not return. I had to post it as I comment on both my good and bad experiences. But everything is life is a matter of luck🍀
Good food and sangría.. Good music nice guy singing. At the end, my friend didnt get the chance to take a look at his birthday cake.. they bring the cake already in pieces.. 9 pieces ( table of 10 people)..I think that nobody told me about singing happy birthday is not a correct answer from server. At least you could ask.. < would you like us to sing happy birthday?? ..after all,they came singing with an extra left over piece of cake and obviously a candle 🙄 ... no comments.
We went for a business dinner. They accommodated all 15 of us. The food was great the staff was friendly. They didnt even rush us out at the end we were the last ones there. Would definitely recommend

This is the worst Colombia food I ever try! I been to many Colombian restaurants but this one was the worst! OMGWe couldn’t eat it! I order a big sancocho and 2 small ones, plus a bandeja paisa, The meat test like it was seating in the fridge for days a really bad test! Colombia food is expensive but I like to pay for fresh food but this here wow unbelievable! Good luck going there for me never again!!!
Great spot, authentic food. Limited parking and can use some a little tlc. Service was great and an awesome menu on both food and drinks. I tried mar y tierra salad and was a great portion without compromise on flavor. With an outside host and some extra cleaning is a 5 star spot. (Floors were little sticky)

We were in NJ shopping and looking for a place to eat. We can across this Restursant and decide to go... Well! IT WAS AWSOMENESS❣️1. Service was excellent 2. What we got was unexpected, the portion are large, the taste is awsome, I could custom what i wanted. 3. Most places have their staff clap n sing happy birthday to you but here they bring out the band (it wasn’t our birthday) NICE JOB!To sum it up - We will be back❣️✅🙋🏾♀️Oh yeah.. pricing is very reasonable $$
Great restaurant! Havent been to a noches de colombia since before covid. They did everything right at this Elizabeth NJ location. The service was friendly and fast. We had a pitcher of sangria and started with some chicharron with guacamole then got the mar y tierra salad (Surf and turf salad) that had churrasco steak and shrimp cooked perfectly. Had plenty of fun and laughs with my girlfriend with good music playing and excellent service....
Great Colombian food with huge portions, great prices and festive atmosphere. We stopped in for a late lunch after driving by previously and checking the reviews and had a great experience. The food was great and you will not to hungry, we were all stuffed. There is a full bar and the dessert choices are fantastic, you have to try the tres leches cake, so good! There was also plenty of parking at 3pm and the bathrooms were very clean.
I am beyond disappointed. The last two times I have been at this restaurant have been horrible experiences due to their service. Both times the waiter barely came around to ask us if we needed anything. Literally the waiter sat in the back with other waiters fixing up utensils while we kept trying to get her attention because we needed another drink. The lack of service is because the tip is automatically included on the bill for any party. Since they know they will get a tip, they don’t even try to give good service at all. My husband got also harassed for a tip by a guy that parks the car. He kept knocking at the window while he waited for me to come out and the guy kept telling him SEVERAL times “the tip is voluntary” and literally waited right next to the car. We love the food but sadly we will only do pickup orders from now on due to the LACK OF SERVICE. My husband even tried to get a managers attention and their was no manager to be found. So disappointing because we loved coming here and we have been coming for YEARS.
Went in for a table of 5 and we wanted separate checks. They told us that they can’t do that, which is ridiculous because you can do that with a system such high maintenance. Then we can clearly see her talking about us which clearly we don’t care. We talked to her with respect and nicely. You can just tell she had a attitude the whole time. Train your employees to have customer service skills to not just care about being the food but being nice. I do not tip on the percentage of my total i tip on service. I work in food service as a MANAGER and I know how I am supposed to be treated and that was not it.
If youre a food lover, then this is the place to go to get food youll fall in love with. Oh, dont forget to bring an appetite as you will certainly need for the large portions they serve. Certainly money well spent.

Noches de colombia to me in my opinion can be compared to a regular colombian restaurant, there really is not anything special about it. The service was very good. The food was not bad at all. Overall a good dinner. The menu overall was very messed up and complicated online, I was so confused I ordered the paper menu because number 1: the online menu was way to long and complicated 2: the internet connection does not help at all. I had pollo a la Colombiana, I think thats how it was called. Portion sizes are way too exaggerated also.

I loved this spot! The food was mouth-watering! Everything was tasty. We had piña colada which was pretty good and the maracuya en agua. There is free valet parking. The food did not take long and the server was kind and attentive. Would definitely go again!

Fantastic food and the service was exceptional. To start we ordered the empanadas and guacamole with chicharrón (both were so good). For entrees we ordered the Bistec Cebollado (steak and onions) and Mar y Tierra Salteado (sautéed flank steak with vegetables). Lastly for dessert we ordered tres leches and arroz con leche. Let me tell you why 5 starsWe were celebrating a very especial event that night, so we wanted to go out and have something to eat. It was a little late but we drove all the way to that restaurant.When all of us arrived, the waiter told us they were about to close but they will make an exception and let us in. The group was pretty big, I was not aware of their schedule and I was feeling bad for the waiters and the kitchen personnel, working long hours at a restaurant is always stressful and tired, the last thing you want to see is a large group of people walking in last minute prior closing.The restaurant employees treated us like royalty. With lots of kindness and a big smile. The food was phenomenal. I have to say this is by far the best Colombian restaurant at Elizabeth New Jersey.Amazing service, incredible food and a beautiful environment.Thanks so much guys you are the best.

What an awesome time! Great food, amazing people, music, and dancing.....such a fun place. We had a party of six and were seated right away upstairs even though it was really busy. Huge menu with something that should please everyone. We all had different plates and it was all amazing. Our server was great too....the entire staff was very friendly and professional. Parking was easy too. Thanks!

This was my very first time here. So I guess my expectations were a bit too high. The tables looked unkept and dirty. The place itself needs a redo or something. The bathroom smelled bad. The tables were too close together. The people behind me kept bumping into me. The waitress looked annoyed and over it. The live music was very nice. The food was great. I had the chicken saltado. I also had the coffee which was cold and dessert that was not good at all. Will I return? No, one time was good enough for me.
I went to this restaurant last Saturday and the food teast preheated. My friend and I got stomage ache all night.The flan teast old too.Not going in there anymore, it is not the first time that the food is terrible in this place.
Ate there over the weekend, and I was very satisfied. The seats were spread out they have a certain time they would like you to stay there which is great because people dont take advantage and sit there for hours. The food was great came out so fast. Very great experience.

So, we were in NJ with the siblings and my brother recommended this place. Service was good, location was big and clean, it was definitely packed. They have ballet parking, we were at the second floor which was huge. I think is big enough to make it a little more private on some areas for small parties, like a wall separating a few rooms. Just a suggestion, juice size was really big, food was freshly made and got to us quick, our server was very efficient, however once I tried my plate and some of my sister’s papas chorreadas, I didnt really like the flavor too much, I am not picky at all with food but papas chorreadas are supposed to be a lot tastier and with a lot of guiso, they were very simple in flavor. I am colombian and I make really good papas chorreadas, and shrimp scampi, def not the best I had. Thats why I give 4 stars because I was expecting a lot more flavor being that the place seems to be famous in NJ (I am from Long Island)They had nice live music, they also sing the happy bday very nice and energetic, their desserts were really yummy.

We love this place. The food is always good and fresh. Although my Spanish isnt the best, they have a very wonderful staff that are always helpful and informative about any questions I may have. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants good food.

The service may improve. It is not mondongos in Doral but frijolada is good, guacamole is outstanding, chicharrón very good and empanadas not bad.

My last visit was a let down with service. We waited 10 minutes easily waiting for someone to acknowledge us. We had to wave down the waiter to finally come to us. The server did not look happy to be working. The food was good but the service made the experience bad. I’m guessing because on the weekend the 18% gratuity is included on all tables the service was affected. Not sure if I would come back now.
Amazing Colombian food. Love their steak with fried plantaines! Generous portions. The atmosphere is very lively with music and singing for birthdays - perfect for parties. If you want somewhere quiet, I would not go here - especially on the weekends but it is fun! I love their tres leches cake and flan. Worth the trip!

NOT WORTH IT. NO VALE LA PENA.We ordered two plates, one appetizer, 6 drinks, and a dessert - the only good part was the canned drinks and that was $90 not well spent. We were so looking forward to coming a Colombian restaurant (as any Colombian family would) but we were very disappointed. The meat was dry, the empanadas were doughy, and the Tres Leches (my favorite dessert) was bitter and dry. I have to give props to great customer service as that was amazing.La calidad no llega al nivel que se merece la cocina Colombiana. Muy decepcionada.

First of all, El arroz con pollo or rice with chicken, is not the same as other Colombian restaurants Ive been to. The normal arroz con pollo taste much better when the chicken is shredded not the way noches de colombia does it that taste terrible. They serve it with pieces of chicken almost like nuggets. Thats the worse way doing it. I had to literally, remove the pieces of chicken in order to be able to eat just the rice with beans. The beans? Thats another bill of 20. The beans, Im sorry to say it, were horrible, hardly no taste whatsoever. But the service was very nice with the server
Food is delicious! Three stars because the pipes were leaking from the ceiling because they turned off the A/C. We moved tables three times because the water was leaking on us, and just ended up just dealing with it because no matter where we sat, it was leaking.
Love the noches chain of restaurants.. usually better ones are in union city but this location is even better. Portion can feed 2-3 and quality/taste is amazing. Adding to my rotation
