One of my favorite parts places in Ventura County. Bruce, Gil and Erik are awesome. They always do their best to help. And its kinda fun going in there. I drove to Oxnard/ Ventura to pick up some parts & the name brand store down the street didnt have what I was looking for. I found Base Auto Parts and Marine doing a search. Gladi found them. They have what you need and more. If they dont have it, they can get it. The two characters behind the counter are 2 fun and helpful guys.

Bruce and Lila and their staff are the best. Helpful, kind, funny and super knowledgeable. If they don’t have it, they’ll get it and fast. But chances are they’ll have it! If I’m ever having a bad day, I’m just going to go sit in this store and listen to the camaraderie between staff and customers. A chuckle a minute.

Best service we have ever had at a auto parts store. They take great pride in the service they provide. We went to several parts store for a belt we were looking for and none of the stores workers would take the time to help. If the part was not in the computer they wouldnt take the time to look further. Went to Base Auto and within minutes the gentleman knew exactly what I needed. Great great service. Customer for life.

This is the best place to go for all your Auto and Marine needs. It is an independently owned parts store that has a definite Mom & Pop owned store feel. Bruce the owner is friendly and knowledgeable and his small but friendly staff go above and beyond to help you. If they dont have the part on hand they can usually get most parts the very next day.

I love this place, I love the guys that work there, I love the helpfulness, the atmosphere, I cant say one negative thing about every single experience I have had there. This is one of the shining examples of what is right with our community. Bruce and Kevin are like family, and to be sure, I speak of them as one would a fond uncle or cousin. Every visit is equal parts business and pleasure. Sure, I could go to any chain, but I wont.

These guys not only offer auto parts but they are the go to guys for boat supplies as well. They had every fuel and oil filter needed for two very different boats. These guys are very friendly and know their stuff. Store is small but they they know their clients needs and stock it. Big stores said sorry well have to order it. Great job Base Auto! You will always be my first stop.

If you want to be treated with respect and courtesy then this is the place. Unlike big box auto parts where service is lacking, Base is top notch customer service.

The owner and employees are incredibly helpful, and care to help you keep your car running well. I have been very impressed by a fuel additive product they carry called Redline. On two of my vehicles it restored misfiring cylinder on the Ford Aerostar, when no other additive worked to clean the entire fuel system. I was impressed with the product once again as it cleaned the intake valve on my Suzuki Burgman 400 motorcycle. I used to burn oil, or it escaped out the valves that were not sealing. They had a better explanation for why this product solved this problem. Now my bike has restored horsepower, and almost no oil consumption. I never would have found this product anywhere else. It is worth it. Good staff there, and they really do want to help.

The Owner is an honest & genuine guy. Owner operated, with small town feel. He has many parts in stock that other shops dont. He also has some parts for boats. His prices are competitive. He genuinely enjoys meeting & getting to know his customers. I live in N. Oxnard, but drive to his shop in hueneme because I would rather give my business and money to him than a large chain store.

Very nice auto shop! They promptly repaired the brake pads, replaced defective parts and I was on my way in the next 2 hours. Courteous and honest service. Highly recommended!

Great store for parts that are hard to find. If they dont have the parts in store the workers there can normally have them by the next day. I have been going to them for automotive parts for 3 years and they are fair on price and quality.

Base Auto Parts and Marine is literally one of the last great parts stores. They will do just about anything that they can to help you. They have quality parts and can usually get just about anything you might need for your car or boat within a matter of hours. Bruce, Kevin and Tom are three guys who will reliably give you sound advice, find your part for cheaper than the big stores and even make you laugh while they help you. Most issues with cars and boats are stressed and expensive, West Marine will pretty much leave you with a second mortgage if you want to deal with that, OReillys, AutoZone, Napa will all give you cheap, knockoff garbage that will usually break within the warranty tineline, ordering online is about the same and it will take 3 months to make it to your house from China, going to the dealership is basically saying I would like to pay for this part three tines, but Base Auto Parts and Marine is always the best bet.
