Oh man, this is the place. The best coffee around. The BEST coffee around. I cant say it enough. Get you some of their in house roasted beans. We order it online and have them ship it to us in Houston, because it is that good.

What a wonderful cafe serving the gulf coast Port Arthur area. We had a hard time finding ANYTHING we usually eat in the area while camping at Sea Rim State Park. We cooked at camp for the most part! We decided to give this place a try for lunch and it was so good we came back for breakfast on our way out of town. Food was delicious with a side of healthy eating. :) Don’t miss it if you’re in the area!

I received a bag of beach blend coffee from this shop for Christmas. I just opened it this week and have been enjoying it. It’s fresh, tastes amazing, and the packaging is cute too. I have never personally stepped foot into this place so I cannot rate on appearance or service, but after going through past reviews and seeing that anything less than five stars gets an initial response from the owner WITH a phone number impresses me. It’s hard to find a place (in any field) that is willing to not only serve a person, but also reach out to compromise.

Very friendly, even when they are busy. Love that they have so many options. Also love that they already remember me after just a few visits.....makes it feel like that small town / home town feel. Also very much appreciate that they put napkins in the to go bag....very useful. Only wish they opened a little earlier.

GO HERE YOU GUYS!!! The best coffee and tea ever and they make their syrups in house, as well as donuts. An amazing alternative to boring old starbucks, and a great small business to support! (I highly recommend their lemon lavender donut its really good and natural tasting.)

I am big on coffee and have been for years and I like to try it from different places and to support local shops. This was my first time here with my friend and sadly, we werent that impressed.It took us a minute to even find the place because there wasnt a sign anywhere of their logo or name. We had to match their address to Google maps.We ordered the maple bourbon coffee, iced with half and half and we didnt taste any maple bourbon flavor and its like there was no sugar or flavor added. It was hard to drink. It honestly tasted like water downed coffee milk.You walked in and it smelt like burnt grease. You didnt get that coffee smell or bakery smell of fresh goodies like more coffee places. Im guessing there wasnt a vent a fan for when they were cooking but the grease kept lingering and now my hair and clothes smell bad from it. The grease smell was getting so bad we had to leave.There wasnt any music playing so we felt like we had to whisper when talking to each other. Overall the idea is great and a lot of people might love their coffee but for us it was a no go.We did order food for someone else to go and they said the food was great so thats a plus.I like how they had items from local shops in our area and support our community. Its nice to see that. The staff was friendly and welcoming which is always awesome to have.Thank you for the experience! If you havent tried them, Id go check them out at least and see if you can find your favorite drink. #supportlocal

Ive been for lunch a few times, and its been great every time. I suggest the Southwest Turkey Sandwich (grilled panini) on garlic bread.

Ordered a mocha latte. There was a lot of sugar in it. Way to sweet for my taste. I could not taste the coffee.

My first visit here was a decent experience. my girlfriend and i stopped by around 1:30 in the afternoon and the environment was very chill and relaxed. i feel like this would be a great place to have a small meeting with someone or a couple people. the menu is diverse with breakfast and lunch specials and the quality of coffee is great. would recommend to anyone who is looking for an alternative to the more popular spots around the golden triangle, like starbucks or jason’s deli

The coffee... Yeah. Its great. They roast IN HOUSE too. If you like something special, get the Brazil roast. Its fantastic. If silky smooth is your thing then you want the house blend. Thank me later. Sandwiches are fantastic. MS HOCKETT BAKES PURE DELICIOUSNESS. Chocolate chip cheesecake bars? Is this real life? Love the owners and everything they do!

This coffee shop is fantastic! The turkey peach sandwich is my absolute favorite! The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. I enjoy all the different flavors of pastry’s as well! I think the only thing that would put the cherry on top of this place, is if they added a few plants inside or a book shelf..

The owners are AMAZING. They constantly update their menu with seasonal items and specials so youre always on your toes.Im sad that you arent allowed in because of COVID and I respect that decision. But when they were open for dine-in, you could expect a bunch of events! Art shows, small live music, poetry readings, anything you could think of.When you catch one of the owners there you can see that they treat their employees like family, coaching and teaching the employees how things work with making drinks and why.There is never a no when it comes to special ordering, either. Anything on the menu can be changed or modified, to suite your needs.If there was any coffee shop that deserves recognition, it is The Avenue Coffee & Cafe. The one place that I personally feel at home at, away from home.

The Avenue has a great variety of offerings from their house roasted coffee, seasonal lattes and fraps to delicious specialty sandwiches, salads and wraps. Highly recommended.

Taste good. Service bad.Definitely the better tasting coffee shop around this area as far as the food/drinks they make, but don’t expect a warm welcome or friendly small talk while you wait for your stuff. Forget getting helpful information if you call an order in, better know exactly what you want and how you want it. Fairly priced, but it’s hard to get over how short and impatient the employees are.

My favorite place to get a good Frappuccino and other treats. The coffee and food choices are amazing and so is the service. All the workers are very friendly and the place is very homey inside and clean (when customers were able to go inside of course). This place has a special place in my heart. Lots of good memories made here.

Really cute place! We enjoyed the maple bourbon latte from the winter menu. I love that they have so many non-dairy options/milk alternatives, as well as both healthier and more indulgent choices on the menu. We will be returning for breakfast or lunch very soon!

Discovered this place when looking for something to occupy the mind for a couple of hours and saw the art opening.My girlfriend and I loved everything. The turkey peach sandwich was amazing! The tea was great, and the service was quick and friendly.We will definitely be frequenting this comfortable cafe!

I live this little shop. I havent tried their coffees but their lunch time sandwiches and sweets. A great selection, several bread choices, and prices are reasonable. A great, quiet place for a quick lunch get-away.

The staff are very amiable, and the atmosphere was very laid back and casual. The coffee and food is absolutely phenomenal!!!! We could not have asked for a better spot to eat and relax; definitely planning on making this spot a weekend tradition.

The food and the coffee are both excellent. The staff is friendly. It took a little bit longer than Id hoped it was going to for the sandwiches to be done, but the flavor was worth the wait. not the cheapest breakfast Ive ever had, but one of the better ones.

I LOVE it here. It is my new favorite coffee shop and has great inventive donuts and treats. The real gold star goes to the sandwiches and salads, though!

Their coffee is so good! Its about the price of Starbucks but it tastes so much better to me. I also love that they are open in the evenings, I find it frustrating when other places are already closed by the time I get off work. Drinks are always smooth and dont taste either bitter or overly sugary like other places...its just right!

I’m very disappointed with this place.We ordered an Apple Chai Latte as well as a Peppermint Mocha Latte and two cookies.To have spent almost $20 for these 4 items Im not Impressed and sorely disappointed.The Apple Chai has zero chai flavor, it was mainly milky apple, at best.My peppermint mocha was COMPLETELY devoid of any peppermint at all. It tasted like a normal flavorless latte.Not sure what my co-workers were all bragging about, but my experience was not the same.Response to Owner:While I appreciate the gesture, I’m no longer in town to have a different drink. My fiancé and I went exploring on our last day in town, which is why we didn’t say anything in store, we received our orders and continued our journey exploring TX before going home to FL. We stopped it as a recommendation by other co-workers and didn’t think tasting before leaving was required and was already 15 min away by the time mine was cool enough to sip and not burn my mouth.
