A fantastic find if you are searching for mostly natural fibers that are worthy of your time and effort to sew. This isn’t a large store, but its owners obviously take great care in the fabrics they order so that there were several (okay, a lot) that I considered drop dead gorgeous. It is also easy to pull together fabrics that play well with each other. Well worth the stop!

I have shopped with them in Fremont and am so happy they are now in Port Townsend. I love this fabric shop. Beautiful fabrics for reasonable prices. I can always find something that makes me drool. So wonderful to have fabrics for garment making available here again.

Having District Fabric not far from our home is a gigantic blessing. We bought a cover stitch machine and are now making all sorts of garments that we would otherwise buy, from fabric that is far superior in quality than any ready-made garment in the stores. Sewing is making a major resurgence because the quality has fallen in ready-to-wear, and it is awesome to have this little gem in Seattle. Thank you!!!

I visited this shop for the first time last week and had a wonderful experience. They have a nice selection on Indie patterns (including Named) and were very helpful in explaining which fabrics would be best for the pattern I chose. Its a small shop, so while they may not have everything, all the fabrics are carefully curated. All my questions were answered and I walked out of the shop with some gorgeous fabric at a very fair price. This will definitely be my go to store for all of my sewing projects.

This is a small store with tons of selection. Huge variety of fabrics, from unique materials and prints to more basic fabrics (e.g. plain denim and linen). They also stock organic fabrics, which is amazing. Definitely coming back here for future sewing projects!

I wish I lived closer so I could come here all the time! A great selection of silks at great prices. The wools and cottons are great too. I cant wait to come back. Street parking.

Great first experience here. This is a fantastic place to go for fashion fabrics! They have a unique, yet very high quality selection.

Lots of unique stuff here, and a few nice basics. Good quality fabric at much more reasonable prices than i would expect from a smaller place in the city. Lots of 100% silks, different types of velvets, 54 cotton, linen prints etc. Most between around $5-20 a yard, which is a good deal!

I absolutely love this place. Great fashion fabrics at all price points. Im super happy theyre open on the weekend now.

I went in yesterday for the first time to buy fabric in a specific color and type. My expectations were low, since I could see it was a small store with seemingly not a huge selection of fabrics. But I was very well taken care of and as through magic, several bolts were pulled out and I found something that will be just perfect. I will be back.
