Lively Olive Tasting Bar store is one of my favorite retail shops in Port Townsend. A definite must-see for anyone!And one of the few stores we always end up purchasing from, some of our standards, butter flavored olive oil, black and white truffle olive oil, and a few amazing delicious vinegars.Lively Olive Tasting Bar (tastings are on hold for now) is not only a gourmet and exotic variety of different flavored Olive Oils, but this store offers some excellent flavored vinegars as well.I cant leave out the fact that Ive seen olives, sauces, spreads, a variety of pastas, and gift packs of sample-size bottles of the olive oils.Pre-Covid, you were able to try any of the olive oils and vinegars to your hearts desire; I think and hope they will eventually bring this back, this was the perfect selling technique, and it worked its magic on us many times =DLively Olive has always remained clean, organized, and customer-friendly!Lively Olive will also ship; this was perfect for us during Covid shut down, fast, and packaged very well!Lively Olive Tasting Bars location is at 929 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA. First Off…The staff is fantastic! If they are working behind the counter on product, they will stop and make sure that you are well taken care of. They will help with tasting and recommendations on combining flavored vinegars and oils. Now the best part…the products are the best quality and always fresh. My wife and I drive from Vancouver Washington to stock up on the product. A MUST STOP WHEN IN PORT TOWNSEND!

I stopped in the shop one sunny July day. After sampling oils and balsamic vinegars I bought my choices. When I came back home I sought this shop out online and have made several internet purchases. I wish I lived closer just to make sure I don’t miss out on any flavors. Such a pleasurable experience using the various oils and vinegars.

Incredible experience shopping there! The products are amazing and its really nice to get to try before you buy. Im never going back to plain olive oil again. The selection was remarkable, both for the oils and balsamic. Highly recommend!

First my disclaimer, I haven’t been at the store.My daughter has and brought home some harissa olive oil, which I am enjoying right now.It’s wonderful and I look forward to visiting to see what else is wonderful.

Lovely shop! We always stop when we are in the areas. Now that we are quarentined, we order online. I am always impressed by the care they take! The products are top notch, the stores is beautiful, and the owner is delightful. Cant wait for a reopening! Until then, I will shop online.

Could have spent a lot more money there but I had to cut it off at some point. Wonderful experience. If your looking for flavored oils and balsamics do not go anywhere else. This store is amazing!

I never miss stopping and shopping at this fantastic little gem whenever Im in Pt Townsend! Ive visited oil and vinegar stores in many places, but this one is far and away my favorite in the states. I could not recommend it higher!

There are SO many options to choose from, and with such friendly staff running the place, you will be so glad you came! I recommend the Cranberry-Pear White Balsamic, the Aged White Peach Balsamic, or the Dark Raspberry Balsamic.

Lots and lots of olive oils and balsamic vinegar.Smoked, infused, varieties of oil. Pour a sample into a sample cup and try it on a piece of bread with a toothpick or without the bread, whatever.They have some fairly spicy ones too. Woof.You have to see and taste it.

Great little shop to find your cooking oil needs

Super rude management. Care more about money than their customers. There are several stores around Washington that are independent, but all use the same company and supplies, but have their own branded bottles, but otherwise the bottles, oils, a d vinegars are identical.Ive been getting oils and vinegars from one of these whenever Im in an area with one for several years now. I was in the area and stopped by this one with my bottles in hand and she said that I had to buy their bottles because, We want to get our branding out there .So, youre making me pay more so you get free addvertising? Plus, I have to let perfectly good bottles go to waste? Not cool..I can understand not accepting random bottles that they dont know the size, but they know damned well these are the exact same bottles and she just wants to make more money instead of putting the customers first.I just moved to the area and she ruined a repeat customer who loves the products with her money grubbing.She even said that she knows it makes the customers annoyed, but thats their policy and they are sticking to it regardless of whether it makes the customer happy or not.I walked out..Ill go to Queen Anne Olive Oils and give them my business instead. They have all the identical products. Please do the same if you like their products but regularly are in Seattle..

Was treated so rudely today. We come there every 3 months to purchase oils and vinegars. My son happened to go by the bread, and he was snapped at by a staff member. I sat him by the stairs and the same woman said under her breath that kids dont belong in the shop. I did purchace, but we wont be back.

Great selection of infused olive oils and infused balsamic vinegars starting at $10 a bottle. They are very friendly and the oils and vinegar is fantastic, if that is your thing. My only complaint was they dont have a great selection on non-infused products with different ages and regions. Minor quibble.

Friendly, fun atmosphere. Taste some of the most unique olive oil and vinegar flavors; coconut, peach, truffle, champagne, to name a few. Also, gourmet type items, pasta, basil pesto, polenta, almond stuffed olives, etc.

Whether you are a novice or master chef this place has your flavor.

Love the selection. I got black cherry balsamic vinegar this summer as well as my usual butter Olive oil and mushroom sage Olive oil, when I was home this summer. The mushroom is great for cooking steaks. The cheyyr vinegar, I used to marinate pork,. this time besides my ysual, I picked up the blue berry balsamic vinegar

Wonderful Olive Oils and Vinegars, along with some great hand-made pasta and pickled goods. Not too pricy, and great flavor for what you pay.
