These guys are really great. They take the time to help people out who are not experienced on the great lakes and are happy to offer up advice and go the extra mile to rig us your gear when you purchase it. I try to give them as much business as I can because I want to keep them around. They are a great addition to PW.

Love this place. Only fish with my grandson (basically he fishes and I watch) but wont get my licenses anywhere else. Helpful since the first time I went to get a license and knew nothing about how to go about it. People here are great!

Never been in there before. Went looking for rod and left with one. Had a young feller help me out, seemed to know alot about the products they had there. And the price was not bad. The thing I learned is not to go on a weekend, parking is not good. All in all I will be back.

First time fishing for salmon. Dennis gave me some great pointers. What a great time I had. I lost a few really nice fish. Cought about a5 lb king. Then I hooked and landed a really nice buck king 40”s. And 30lbs just a monster. Thank you Dennis you put me right on the fish.and thanks for taking great pictures. Curt

This shop came recommended to us by the local fishermen at Port Pier. I was told that the owner would work with us, as unseasoned fishers, and would take care of us and our questions. We went and were blown away by the kindness, knowledge and eagerness to help us and to teach us what we needed to know. I will recommend this shop to everyone! Came down to fish the marina and plant on 3/7/20 passed your shop on the way down. You were closed. But we didnt even know it was there. Fishing was tough with the high winds but we managed to stop in. Great store. My buddy bought some flickers i got some jiggin spoons great variety and price and your cleo selection i love it Ill be back down with a little more cash next time.

I have a boat down in Port Washington harbor, and I do not go anywhere else for tackle anymore. The service is top notch and they are always willing to offer advice and assistance above and beyond what any other bait shop will offer. The owner is a local charter chapter so he knows what is going on in the harbor and will always steer you in the right direction. I tell everyone to go here that fishes out of port to enhance their fishing experience.

Came in from out of town and left fishing poles an everything at home. He hooked me up with rod and reel tackle and set it up an gave me pointers!! Couldnt beat it even at Walmart at very reasonable price. He was very nice and I can thank him enough for helping and making me weekend awesome!!

Every time I come to Port Washington I stop and see these guys and end up buying something. Their knowledge is second to none and they take the time to answer any questions I have. I would highly recommend making this a stop on your way to the lake!

Caught my 1st Salmon on my friends 9 foot fishing rod, then ran down to the bait shop for my own pole and reel. Owner is great and locals recommend him. Cant beat the prices

The highlight of the day was meeting Dale from Fat Boys Bait & Tackle. Great guy who goes out of his way to help new Lake Michigan fishermen like myself and served our country for a long time as well. I highly recommend his new bait shop.
