Jose was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond to help us finding the best matching colors based on CMYK codes and scanning my business card. He is such a hard worker. I believe he will be successful doing what he is doing.

Horrible experience! I went to purchase a small lightbulb for my fridge and was told it was $9 and paid for it. I was shocked at the price because normally light bulbs arent that price. 2 months hasnt even passed and the lightbulb burnt out, so I took it back to them and asked them if I could get a new one. A worker there comes and tells me they had given me the wrong bulb for my fridge and the bulb I need is $2. THEY had given me the wrong bulb which is maybe why the bulb died so fast. Its not about the money, but the simple fact they couldnt accommodate me because of THEIR mistake is poor costumer service. Very disappointed and will not be going back to them and recommend no one else does.As a response to your message. Im not quite sure what receipt youre talking about because I never showed you any receipt during our conversation. Why would I keep a receipt thats several months old? Ive attached a picture of my statement in which shows I paid $9. like I said before. Its really disappointing to see that you couldnt even accommodate me a $2 bulb from your store because of a mistake you guys made. Ive been going to your store for several years and have never had any problems until now. Have a good day.

Great local hardware store. Service is always great. Recenty i hired them to clean my Weber natural gas grill and it was the best money I ever spent. I usually spend 3 hours every spring cleaning it myself and it wouldnt look nearly as clean as Victor got it to look. I wouldnt say it looks like new but its about as close as its gonna get. I am definately going to use them every spring from now on.

Its a store where you can start to get to know the staff and you know they genuinely care. Some of the other stores you just feel like no one cares. Its become my go-to! Its also the best looking store. Fun for anyone who enjoys browsing hardware stores as wel!

Alpers is the best hardware store in Port Washington, hands down. They are very friendly and the family that runs the store grew up here. Hardware is their life! So they know the product you are looking for. Take your kids to Alpers and let them hear the creaking of the old wood floors that reminds you of the hardware stores of yesteryear. Alpers is the real deal. Their paint store is top notch too. Why drive a half hour to a big box hardware store to try and save 50¢? Support your local business!

Tremendous service and friendly staff. If I take longer than 5 seconds to find an item, someone is there asking if I need help. I wish they had longer store hours as they’re usually closed by the time I get back to PW from work.

Correction to anothers comment. Many Alpers prices are actually lower than Home Depots. The big box stores can be lower on their chosen items,but higher on many others .
