Had an issue with my infotainment screen, they replaced it under warranty no problem. 3 years later the screen started to spider web crack due to the glue separating from the glass. Liz M, the supervisor said that is just how GM makes their parts. Repeatedly told me some parts, including the infotainment screen only last 3 years and since the screen only has a 1 year warranty Id have to pay to fix it out of pocket. Even after explaining no other car on the planet has an infotainment screen that needs to be replaced every 3 years and its just total common sense that it should last longer than 3 years, Liz still insisted that is how GM makes parts and its how my Cadillac was designed to operate. That was a lie made up just so Liz would not have to take any responsibility and I would have to pay out of pocket. Even after talking to the manager Tim A, this dealership didnt seem to want to stand behind their previous work. Tim agreed the infotainment screen should last longer than 3 years and admitted that GM notified them in the past that this was a known issue, but still didnt offer to fully help. Tim offered to replace the screen as long as I or GM provided the new part. I contacted GM myself, explained the entire situation and how the dealership is now being dishonest with me. GM providing the replacement part after I opened a case and the dealership installed it under my original warranty. Took 2 weeks and countless hours on the phone to get them to fix something they knew was defective all along. I will not return to a service shop that employs dishonest workers, especially ones that put those dishonest workers in leadership positions.

TLDR:~~~DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP~~~They absolutely take NO RESPONSIBILITY for their mistakes.Ive tried being nice so far, but theyve pretty much ignored me hoping Ill just go away. If this was a cheap fix, then sure, but this would cost me around $250 for the replacement part, so Im not going anywhere.I have left about 5-6 voicemails total to have 1 call-back and no action taken on their part.FULL REVIEW:I had come here for service to my SUV once or twice before, not anything outstanding, not anything too horrible. The last time I was there, I asked them to look at an issue with some noises coming from the rear of my vehicle, as I couldnt figure it out. After deciding to not get service done yet, I got my SUV back with the drivers side mirror broken. It wasnt broken when I brought it in, and their own pictures they take when I hand it over to them can prove it too. I didnt address at the dealership because it just looked like some gunk on my mirror and Id wash it off at home (big mistake apparently). The response I received from them was:Hi. Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you.I spoke with the Service Manager and Assistance Service Manager and they said that what has happened with your mirror is because of the heater element.Unfortunately it is just a coincidence that it happened at the same time it was in for service and that it was nothing that we caused.If you have further questions please contact . He will be able to answer and questions or concerns you have about this information.Thank youEssentially saying It happens, not our fault. Its true that things can happen like that, where due to the repeated heating and cooling of materials, they become brittle over time. But for no-one to care to mention it when I got it back, I assumed there wasnt anything wrong. Now I need to replace the mirror myself, which is another ~$150 aftermarket (or ~$250 OEM) I wasnt planning on spending. Heck, I probably wouldnt have even posted this if they were just up front about it and told me that happened during service, but I dont have any reason to trust them.UPDATE 1:I have so far left two voicemails for the manager by the name of Tim over the past two weeks trying to give them as much time as possible, but it seems like they have no intention to talk to me as I have not yet received a call back and cannot reach him during normal business hours.I will be be leaving one more voicemail, and then taking Cole Cadillac to claims court.UPDATE 2 (2020/06/12):After leaving two more voicemails, the manager (Tim) called me back to tell me he would talk with his parts manager and get back to me. That was about a month ago, and he is again not responding to my voicemails. I just contacted Cadillac Support who have now reached out to them, and if they do not respond to me within two business days, they will be escalating the issue.

I want to give Cole Cadillac a 5 star rating for helping me when GM wouldnt. Everyone knows about the problems with the 2nd generation SRX headlight issue with the water condensation and bad seals around the headlights. Ive dumped hundreds of dollars into getting new headlight assemblies installed, then it was bad ballast and wiring harness. GM will not reimburse me or communicate with me. I finally took it to Cole Cadillac and after telling them how GM wont help and how Ive got hundreds of dollars trying to fix GM problem, Cole Cadillac belp me by paying half of my ballast and wire harness problem. They saved me lots of money and it wasnt even their responsibility. Sorry to say after this Cadillac my 6th one I wont be buying GM Cadillac. The manager at Cole Cadillac Paul Blakely was honest and very helpful. I would definitely buy vehicles from him in the future.

First, I was hung up on twice when asking to be transferred to the service department. Then, I was talked to like I was a mentally handicapped child. Lastly, I was told there would be a $99 fee for me to drop off the car, for evaluation and that fee is NOT applied to the cost of the repairs. No other dealerships behave this way. I live in Chicago and they dont even charge at the Caddy dealership there! What a scam!!!! I know times are tough but Im appalled at the service and policies here. Wow. Just wow.

Have had the worst experience with this dealer. Neil is a horrible salesman along with others. The buying process was pretty painful and we should have walked away, but they had the vehicle we wanted. They got us to buy a terrible warranty and when we figured it out we tried to cancel it. We live a good ways away, so we have been calling the dealer and leaving messages for a month now. Neil and others will not return our calls and they know they are the only ones who can cancel the warranty! Definitely do your research on dealers and stay away from these guys! Our local dealer gave us a much much better warranty for less than Cole Cadillac charged us!

This place is by far one of the worst dealerships I have ever had experience with. I took in my Cadillac to have something looked at in the trunk they told me they will notify me when the part would come in and keep me in the loop, after 6 days I haven’t received any updates. Upon pick up after the repair was completed the trunk area was not even cleaned after the work was completed. I have purchased all of my cars from Chicago dealers and I will say after every service they clean the work area and wash the car. I was so disappointed to see how this dealer takes care of their customers. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Horrible customer service from Brian. Told me my vehicle was AWD and it is 4 wheel drive. Refused to replace just one tire as he was adamant my vehicle is AWD. Paid for all new tires and the center caps on the rims were not installed correctly and one was missing; rest were loose. Gave me a written estimate good until 1/31 and then wouldnt honor it (on 1/20). Told me he was saving me money by doing a price match, but added an extra $221 for labor so there was no savings. Told me I need to get my vehicle there at 8 a.m. and failed to mention they have a drop off service. The list goes on. Also, always get a second opinion if you bring your vehicle to Cole. At my visit preceding this horrible experience, I was told I needed new brakes and rotors to correct a shake. Paid $1100 for the new brakes and rotors and the shake was still there. They misdiagnosed the issue and it was actually a transmission issue covered by warranty.

Service concentrate on charging for diagnostic more than concentrating on solving the problem, this is my second time here and had to face the the same problem and the vehicle issue is not solved first time and the diagnostics I paid for $600 first time half of them werent accorate

These folks were awesome!!! I do not live in the area but had trouble with my key fob. Nice to know a hometown Cadillac dealership has your back! A used car sales person gave me some great knowledge .. to be able to open my car in case electronics in the area cause it to lock and not open... he had just purchased a similar car and was well informed on how to fix the problem.. a lifesaver to me since I was visiting from out of state!

Took my 2018 Cadillac for a routine oil change and they left me waiting without any notifications that my car was done for 45 minutes. Even with them taking my number to send a text, which was supposed to be intended to allow me to know when my service was complete. When asked why I hadnt been notified that my car was ready, service agent replied with a dry apology and added he got busy. Definitely not service that Id expect from a Cadillac dealer after being a loyal customer. My husband and I both are loyal cadillac customers, needless to say I wont be purchasing my next vehicle from here!
