My FAVORITE FAMILY EXPRESS and just in general gas station! I LOVE my favorite worker ever at this one I cant remember his name sadly right now so Ill have to update this after I ask him again lol he drive the white car VERY funny amd sweet man! Hes worked at this one so long now! Its close to my home and even if not I go out of my way to go to this one! I love the workers! NOT TODAY SATAN depending on who sees these I hope my favorite guy sees this because he knows why the saying lol much love!!!

Getting drinks snack and $60 in gas went to pay with a hundred and the guys said he didn’t have change. Tried to explain I was getting gas also and he’d only be giving me like 25 in change he calmed he still he did have the change who doesn’t have $25 in change

If I could give zero stars I would. I am a black woman who recently moved to the portage area and I go to the family express probably once a week and each experience was different but this one left me uneasy about ever returning. The stares I get I became used to but I arrived at family express tonight unaware of the closing hours and instead of informing me they we closed, the worker gave be a strong stare of hatred and look away. This isn’t the first time I felt uncomfortable but not all of my visits was horrible. This time it’s just not worth the vibes. Will not be returning!

This is my favorite Family Express location in Northwest Indiana. The staff is friendly, helpful and pleasant to see each morning. There is a location in Hobart closer to my house but I’d rather drive out of my way for better service, a cleaner facility and an overall better experience.

Just left the store. Cashier refused to sell me gas because all I had was a $100 bill. Asked me to go somewhere, break it, and then comeback. Very disappointed. Im going to start using speedway.

If I could post - stars I would. My daughter from Nebraska went into fill up her tank then get air in her tires. Since it was 0 out my 20 yr old granddaughter went inside while she was doing this. The clerk behind the counter told her if she wasnt buying something she had to leave-- obviously she didnt care. She told the clerk her Mom was getting gas and air. When I called to confront the clerk she claimed my granddaughter only said she was getting air. Even if that were the case - which I know it wasnt- it was 0 out-- she thought a 20 yr old college student from Nebraska with serious health issues was a threat?????? Not like she had gang tattoos and pants to her knees carrying a gun or anything. This bimbo needs to be fired. I can see from reviews that this isnt the first complaint about her. I have written the corporate office. We will see how important customers are to the company when and if I get a reply. She is darn lucky my policeman son in law wasnt home when it happened. When he got home and heard the way they were treated he was fit to be tied. Just wondering how much you need to spend to qualify for the right to browse the store? We travel a lot and if the gas stations we stopped at didnt allow us to wander inside when we only buy gas we would be in trouble.

Im always greeted with a smile when I walk into this store. The store is well stocked and clean. The staff is always cheerful and ready to help.

My FAVORITE GAS STATION EVER favorite staff by far I ♡♡♡♡♡ Tim. Great guy, funny, pays attention to the customers products and has them waiting and ready for me EVERY TIME. This man deserves more hes the best and main reason I go to this gas station 💯💯💯
