I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. I’ve been without propane for over a week. It’s been approximately 10 degrees this week in southern Michigan. My car currently shows -18 degrees on my way into work this morning. I’ve called every day this week to see if I was listed on their delivery route. I’ve been asked each time what percent my tank is at and each time they act surprised when I tell them I’ve been out for a week. I’ve been more than polite to their staff while on the phone. Yesterday I was told to “stay warm” at the end of my conversation with them. Im still unsure if their employee was being sincere or attempting to crack a joke. I usually do not write reviews but I’ve got a wife and three small children in the home and find their services unacceptable.
To start, I started trying to call on 2/1/21 (when our tank was at 20% with a voicemail and the second call selected the call back option. No return calls on either. Called again on 2/3/21, stayed on the line this time for 40 MINUTES without anyone picking up, did the same thing before with the voicemail and call back, no response. Called 2/5/21, same thing but I actually got a call back.I was told that our delivery window was between 2/6/21-2/16/21. No delivery was made in that window and we have been without heat for days. The only way to get them out to us fast was the $150 (I believe) emergency fill fee that I should not have even had to think about. We are finally on their route today 2/17/21. Needless to say, I will not ever recommend this company to anyone. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and with an essential service at that.
I requested a refill in july and they charged me 2.99gal which is more than the winter rate. Im letting my tank get down to 5% and will change companies and will never use them again.
Ferrellgas has been our propane suppler for 30 years and has left us heatless. They haven’t been here to put propane in our tank since November. We’ve called and called them and drove out to their building to speak to them. We were promised twice to have propane delivered, but both times they were a no show. As of today 2-19-2021 we have no heat, no hot water and another company can’t set another tank until Tuesday. This just stinks! How can they live with themselves doing this to people. Anyone know a good lawyer because with these cold temperatures our pipes will freeze and we’ll have another issue to face.
Someone told me that we can get our propane tanks for the grill filled at a lower cost when compared to the tank exchange places. I have now been there three times and everything has gone very smoothly. I will definitely continue to use Ferrellgas for my propane tank fill ups.
A lot of time on hold, repeatedly. Cant guarantee propane fill before I run out, have to move on to new supplier. And I was on auto fill.
I have been with Ferrellgas for years- I highly recommend them. I called everywhere for competitive pricing and Ferrellgas is a little higher but they are willing to work with me through thick and thin- I refuse to leave. There are many hidden charges with other companies. There employees are so awesome that is priceless to me. Thank you everyone at Ferrellgas!
Ive had two chances to deal with the employees at this location and both times thought that there is no way anyone could be worse at customer service. What total wieners. It would be best to put a sign on your door that states you dont provide any service to anyone who walks through your doors so please just turn around and leave our property.Dont worry, I got the message this time and wont be back.
Ellen Bundy in customer service and Deana in account are wonderful. Both of them more helpful than I could have imagined. Thank you so much for keeping my family warm.
Been calling and waiting forever for someone to answer the phone. Ive left 4 voicemails over the past 5 days. Nobody ever calls back or answers the phone. Finally called them today left a message telling them I no longer want their business and come get their tank at the end of the month. Called Tapper today and have a scheduled delivery in a week!
Ive been a customer for years with no problems. Now that the company has made a mistake, suddenly they dont want to give me the time of day. Up until this point I was satisfied with the service provided, but now I know they are scam artists who will squeeze every dollar out of you. They claim they cant be held liable for their own mistakes. I strongly suggest going somewhere else. If you are curious about their fees, they charge $150 for same day service, or $50 for next day service. Other than that it could be up to a week later before youll get propane. They allow a first time emergency refill when you are completely out, but after that it costs a lot of money.
Poor communication lack of signs wasted my time, with a wrong adress and supervisor didnt even know the place closed for 2h for lunch. I drive 45 min to wait
Im new at the propane thing calling to get a quote and the lady i was talking to could not help and she just huffing and puffing over my questions
WOW!!!! They are more expensive than S&F but the customer sucks just as bad though!!!
