I had a hard time talking to my adjuster he was the only one able to view my claim. It was a huge headache. Some one wrecked into me or I would have been leaving AAA and finding new insurance. So if your in the so ca region be warned.

Very disappointed with the Porterville branch. They owe me almost 200 and I have called, my dad has gone in there MANY TIMES to talk to them about my money, they tell me the same thing every time. Something about a refund needing to be approved and it never gets approved each time they take my credit card information and it never gets resolved. this shows poor customer service. I emailed, called and left a voicemails to staff and have not received my money IT HAS BEEN 3 MONTHS! They are extremely unresponsive and the rates are over the roof.. I pay $268! I have a clean record no accidents etc.. Lastly they are not here to help you THEY ARE HERE TO TAKE AS MUCH MONEY AS THEY POSSIBLY CAN.p.s. Everytime I call someones got an attitude. I dont understand :(

I have had AAA for about thirty years because of there service they provide.However, we called on 01/18/2018 at 9:28 p.m for tow and they left us on the side of the road. We told them we would drive down the hill from Kings Canyon National Forest with no brakes to any location if someone would pick us up. Company I believe JR towing in Porterville came on phone and said he could not drive to us because it’s out of his dispatch range. So we connected him to Northern California AAA which said it was out of there area.The exact quote from Katherine (supervisor) was, “ it doesn’t matter where you go no one is going to pick you up tonight”. We said we would go to Fresno and they told us there was snow. It Hasn’t snowed in Fresno for years and years. They made us drive all the way home with only front brakes working. 2 Hour Drive.“ Horrible”, would not even begin to describe the service we received.Once loyal customers,Jon and Gina

A large part of customer service is being there for your customers. I have never called this office and been connected to someone, including today. I was sent to a voicemail. I called back and the agent said he could take a message, as they were busy with customers in the office. That is great they are being served, but just because Im not physically in the office doesnt mean Im any less important as a customer. Again, this is not just today, this is Each Time Ive called. I called the 800 # and the agent expressed her frustration as well, saying even they (fellow employees) were unable to reach the branches, despite their repeatedly raising the issue. There comes a time when a business must look at whether customers are being delighted on a regular basis, or whether avoidable frustrations hinder this. This may mean making a decision like, hmmm, hiring more people or dropping members so the level of customer service you provide is outstanding every time. Excellence is what you should be striving for, not just gathering membership fees and serving only some of your customers some of the time.

These guys are almost more trouble than theyre worth. Online app & website is mediocre at beat, NOT convenient.

The people here do not want to do their job and do not put information in correctly. We have been with AAA for many years, after moving here and dealing with all human errors we went to Ameriprise.

25 year member. All of my insurance needs are met here. Not the least cheapest insurance but as they say you get what you pay for.June 30, 2021 update. I just learned that the Porterville office will close forcing customers to travel to Bakersfield or Visalia. Im nearly 72 years old and dont drive far anymore. I encounter too many drivers not well trained to drive and theyre a hazard to my heath. I need my insurance needs met in Porterville. Its sad that Ill have to give my insurance needs to someone else.
