The marketing on Instagram really pulled me in and got me on the lot, I was so excited to see the company on Instagram with detailed posts and was easy to navigate. From there I had excellent service, everyone was knowledgeable, answering all my questions. They got me the best deal, filled my tank, gave my new car a nice wash and detail and even checked in on me days and weeks after.

Horrible service!! After calling just to see how much spark plugs were for my Jeep they told me I had two recalls on my car. No problem, took it in to get those fixed plus went ahead and had them change the oil. They broke the cable to the hood latch, left coolant all over the front of the grill. Also after confronting them about the broken latch they denied breaking it and wanted to charge overpriced to fix it! Again horrible service and price gouging!!

We went specifically to see a charger that was advertised in that location, they did not have it, so since we were there we looked around I saw another Charger that caught my eye, it has a recall and the salesperson explained he could not sell us that car. Okay but he kept insisting to try for another car, that they had. Omg needless to say I dint recommend anyone going to that location for a car !

My fiance had a bad experience all cant believe this service department definitely not returning, all it need was an oil change didnt think it would take the entire day. I was in the area thought I would give you guys a try but this is why I go to Lampe in Visalia lesson learned.

I would have given a single star! After thinking about what happened and how many other employees of Porterville dodge were involved, I give 2 stars! I made an appointment 3 days prior to dropping off my jeep. I called 3 times to confirm the price I was quoted and the work to be done. The day after I dropped off my vehicle, the service writer called me to advise me of the $300.00 + price jump! Not only did the price go up, they didn’t have the parts! the parts that I told him they would need! This all took place after my vehicle was dismantled! No one called to let me know that my vehicle was done. I had to call and find out what’s going on. After picking up my vehicle, I got home and the differential cover was leaking! I called the dealership to find that they couldn’t get to it for about 4 days. After asking for the general manager, I was redirected to the service manager who said he found time to fix it, if I came right that moment. I don’t feel that you should leave a repair establishment with a mechanic made issue after paying for repair! I also don’t think I would have had to argue my point had the final inspection actually been done!JPF

When in at lunch time and left my car for them to complete service on it and it was done by 5pm. I recommend always use your dealer for all work that way they have a record of everything done on your car/truck. Very happen with them.

Horrible Service/Warranty Department - purchased a brand new vehicle and about a month later noticed some defects on the defect on the paint such as cracks near the antenna chips covered with non matching touch up paint and defective cracking. Took the truck in and spoke with Jeff. Jeff got the service manager involved and told me it would be taken care of. Jeff said he would get back to me which he didnt. I followed up multiple time weeks apart only to be told he is still waiting from the paint shop and would get back to me. Months later I finally spoke with service director only to be told the issues were submitted to dodge and were denied. Im extremely upset as the cracked paint can lead to rust before truck is even paid in full. What a mistake of purchasing here. These guys run their own show. I cant believe this is okay with Dodge corporate! Dont make the same mistake I did, go somewhere else!

I purchased three vehicles here and had a good experience with each one, but the service department is untrustworthy. We took our truck in for a window regulator repair, and upon pick up, they had other things broken that were not there when we dropped the truck off for repairs. When asked to repair it, the service department blamed us and said we had to pay for the repairs. Very disappointing end to a previously good experience.*We spoke on 7/29/21, before I posted this review, Jared. No one was concerned about this issue yesterday when I was asking for help.*

They did an awesome job finding me what I was looking for. The sales rep was very nice and helpful. Knocked off a star because the car had some issues 2 weeks after buying... but they did fix it and car works great now! Just wish they had a rental since it took a few days to sort the issue out. My Dodge Journey was at their shop for over a month. No updates and couldnt get ahold of anyone. Called 5-6 times before I could get an answer. Waited on hold for 10+ minutes every time I called. Ended up costing 500 more than what was expected.

I purchase a Jeep Renegade and there was a defect on it but they really took care of me with a rental and fixed the issue in a timely manner and therefore they also gave me a oil change package for the inconvenience. I have been purchasing dodge vehicles for a long time from this dealership and have always gotten a great experience with the sales personnel along with Jarred in finance. Please remember when purchasing any vehicle do your own inspection prior to making a deal. It will always work in your behalf Because as new vehicles the salesman only knows that it is a new vehicle and that is what they are there to do is sell you a new car that came from the manufacturer. Hope this helps I have seen negative comments on here but to each there own I had a great experience and ended up with another renegade so it makes 2 in my driveway!

The service department is horrible! I took my car for an oil change at 9am 5 hrs later and it’s still not ready. They do not have any respect for their costumers time. I don’t care if they take 5hrs as long as I’m told ahead of time. But saying that it’s only gonna take 45 min and 5hrs later it’s not really. Mind you that I’ve called 3 times and every time they say only 45 min more. Horrible job.

I cant speak for any of the other reviews except my personal experience, which was exceptional. I recently purchased a challenger from this dealership and the entire staff were amazing. The salesman, Irvin, although young had the vehicle knowledge and professionalism well beyond his years. He was approachable, courteous, and receptive to my vehicle needs and price point. I never felt patronized for being a female which is a breath of fresh air when car shopping. He was willing to work around my work schedule and had all my paperwork ready to sign. I was in and out without a hassle for which i am grateful. My experience was both positive and pleasant. They have made a returning customer of me and i highly recommend them to anyone looking to be treated with respect and professionalism.

I went there specifically to look at a used car that was in the ad and was mainly interested in. The salesman then decided to talk me out of that one and look into newer models. My credit wasnt decent and he instructed me that I should help him out and try getting the newer vehicle cause I guess for him to make his sales quota. I wasnt happy with his nagging so I decided to leave and told this mad story to my friends about shopping there. Any rating below a 1 star would be perfect for this review.

Horrible service department,I took my car in to have a door handle fix, the door would still open from the inside and out, all I need fixed was the plastic handle,I paid $160 dollars only for them to mess the whole door up. The door will not open at all and they were charging me an additional $100 just so they can go look at the door. They would not refund any money. Not even a I’m sorry. Was told by services that id get my truck back in 10 days... (10 days past) then said within the next two days... still havent got it.. now they said another week or so. Very disappointed with them.

Lousy! Had my truck taken there to repair a check engine light. Said I needed a sensor. Replaced sensor, still has light. Said I need another sensor. Replaced another sensor, still has light. Said the computer needed re flashed. Had computer re flashed, still has light. Said need to drive it for one hour and light will go out. Drove for hour and a half, still has light. Said needs another sensor. Replaced other sensor. Oh my, its fixed. Guess what though. Every other item that did NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED still cost me over $750.00. They still charged full pop for the last sensor and labor. I wouldnt take these morons my lawn mower to work on.

Had some new OEM equipment installed on my new Jeep here. They ran into a few issues (not their fault) and it took a few days to do it. My original dealer bombed out totally so I chose Porterville Chrysler Jeep Dodge for the job. They kept me updated each day, gave me a loaner car so I could go home versus having to stay in the valley with family. I live over an hour away in the mountains. A one day install turned into 3, but they held to their original estimate for labor. Again it wasnt their fault it took so long and they easily spent 10+ hours on the job yet did not charge me more. Very courteous staff and kept me up to date. Ive not had a good experience at my original dealer in Visalia and feel Ive found an honest, dependable and friendly place for my future service needs. I might add that Richard in the Parts Dept went all out for me and was a great help. I also might add the job was actually cheaper here versus my original dealer who has done nothing but drop the ball with me. No complaints...

We bought a 2018 Challenger here and during the purchase we commented on the tires being worn. We were assured by Jerrod the sales manager the tires were fine and not to worry. Took the car into this same dealership today after 3000 miles for its first oil changed that we were also told we would get 2 changes free. Nope that was a lie also we had to pay for the oil change and were also told by the tech the car needs new tires. I spoke with the sales manager again and he no the tires are fine and nothing they would do about it. Place is a complete joke NEVER EVER by any type of vehicle here unless you like being lied to and for a dealership to not stand behind anything they say or do. NEVER AGAIN Porterville Dodge ... Was young and didnt know about interest rate etc bought a 2014 Dodge Avenger on 1/17/14 and was given a 20.99 percent interest rate at 595.82 a month for 72months. Sales person Brandon really did a number on me and screwed me over badly I now still owe 21k when Ive already paid just about 20k into the car...car will not be paid off until 12/2020 and I cannot refinance because the low is so horrible and upside down... I recommend no one to EVER EVER go here now less you are experience and know how it works. I was taking advantage of..... very very upset. Horrible business

1 star only because their wasnt a 0 choice. Service dept cant fix anything. Took ram in for 4 months and still doesnt work. Everytime I took it back I had to reexplain the problem, dont they have records? Dont buy from them!!

Took my car in to get serviced over a broken serpentine belt, turns out my water pump seized up and thats what caused my serpentine belt to break. Then I get a call saying my car is ready, as Im driving my car and home my car is overheating now I called the dealership and they tell me that my radiator has a hole so thats why my car is overheating so I asked how much is a service going to cost me and they tell me its going to run me about $500 to replace the radiator. So I go home and do some research and my temperature gauge was fluctuating so it turns out its just the thermostat, but prior to replacing the thermostat I inspected my car myself to see if there was any visible leaks I found the leak coming from the thermostat housing, then I clean up the mess of antifreeze that was left in the bottom of my vehicle and replace the thermostat top the fluid off of coolant and turn my car on and my temperature gauge is not fluctuating anymore or overheating, so my radiator doesnt have a leak and they try to screw me over on $500 and to top it off they didnt even put my engine cover back on this place has very horrible service do not bring your cars here if you want to take your car to a Dodge dealership take it to Visalia where they have real mechanics!!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!I took my car for a recall part. My mechanic had already inspected my car and told me the dealer would be the only ones that could fix it because the problem was the recall part. Before taking it he inspected everything to make sure that part was the problem. I took it to the dealer they replaced the part but told me that was supposedly not the problem the charge me to inspect it $250 all of a sudden they fix the problem.Stupid me i was already told by few people not to take my car to that dealer because similar things had happen so others, they take it for something and they are over charge for other things.Please!!!!!!! dont do the same mistake i did. Dont say you were not WARNED because i was and didnt listen now im $250 short.

My job had cut backs and took away my company vehicle, on a friday! I was scambling to buy a used car that would make my commute, researching via internet and calling dealerships was no help. I called Porterville Chrysler told Jarred the sales manger my situation, this was at 730PM, he said come on down. Stephania our salesperson was very helpful, we found a car that fit my budget and my needs. The entire staff had to stay late for us to finish all the paperwork, sorry guys. Super good customer service will buy a car here again!
