Beware. We loved the great selection of mid mod furniture at this place. However, we purchased a small vintage cabinet for about $550 only to find it didnt quite fit in my space like I thought it would. I called to see if I could return this item and receive a store credit because there were other pieces in the store I was looking for. I was told that there are NO returns on vintage items and that all customers are given the talk about no returns, did you measure the space, will it fit?, be sure this is what you want because we dont take returns.Unfortunately, I did not get this talk so I want to make sure other shoppers are aware of this policy and dont make the same mistake as I did. The owner did reach out and I am happy to report he apologized and let us return the cabinet for a store credit, thanks Mike!👍

I am continuously impressed with the quality and rotation of items at Legacy Modern, if I could, I would fill my whole house with their furniture. What might be even more impressive is the easy and engaging conversation that the owners and workers provide. My questions are answered in a personal and understandable way. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I want to share my experience so others are aware of the lack of integrity of the owner. I was looking specifically for a Gus modern leather couch. Modern Leagacy cam up a dealer. I called and the owner answered, I inquired about a specific couch and he told me he had one on the floor. He told me the couch would need to be special ordered as they dont sell floor models. I went in to look at the couch and the staff and owner seemed very nice and genuine. I asked if the couch ever goes on sale and he told me Gus has policies in place For their dealers to protect brand integrity. I ordered the couch and was told it would be in stock in 2-3 weeks. After3 weeks and many calls for updates, the Manager told me I needed to speak to the owner and does not know if my couch had been ordered yet. All of a sudden after 4 weeks I got a call my couch was in. It was delivered and he showed up with the couch with out and kind of wrapping or protection what so ever. After getting it in the house I noticed many small scratches and creases similar to the floor model I saw. I became very suspicious and went in the next day to speak to the owner, as I walked in a staff member was vacuming the area where the couch was and I was further blown away he happened to be doing 20% off Gus floor model furniture. I became very upset and he denied that I received a used floor model. I pursued this for weeks and he finally gave me a check for the 20% off floor model sale. Ive been a District Manager for over ten years for a major reatiler and this owner,unfortunately, can not be trusted. Buyer beware!

Legacy Modern is by far one of the funnest stores to kill an hour in. Mike is super cool and one of the most knowledgeable guys in the business. If he doesnt have what youre looking for in the store, he will find it. I love walking around and looking at all the Eastern Europe Industrial items, the Mid Century inventory is great, and the Mission Arts and Crafts selection is one of a kind. I highly suggest this store for all your home furnishings. You cant beat the customer service or the prices!

Great selection of mid century furniture with some really unique pieces. This place has a curated feel. Its more than just a collection of random vintage furniture. Very friendly staff and a warm welcoming environment.

Beautiful furniture and really great prices I was surprised. I had been to some of the places in Hawthorne looking for a mid-century pop-up bar and no one had any but this place had to for me to choose from. I paid less for this bar then I would have for something made in China on Wayfair. I am very happy and they even gave me a discount
