Called and got a voicemail telling me to leave a message and they would call me back, which they did. A guy called Bill called me back after researching the oven part I needed. He said they could order it but he had never seen so expensive a price on an element, nearly $200! He advised me to replace the 30 year old oven and gave me some used appliance places near me.I will call them next time I have any appliance part needs.

Fantastic customer service and expert advise! Norman went above and beyond to help me when our fridge went out and provided me with the information and part I needed to have cold food again. I cant say thank you enough! A $30 part and Normans expertise saved me from having to buy a new fridge and $450 worth of food from spoiling! Would recommend to friends and family; This place is why small businesses are great! A+++

Originally came in to order a spray arm for my dishwasher, not expecting to handle it on the first stop. They had to order it but I wouldnt have found it elsewhere. Picked up my part and bought more afterwards. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ill go out of my way to shop there again even though a big box store is only a couple minutes away.

Absolutely rude service over the phone. Would not listen fully to my request.Immediately started telling me what I should do. I was working on alternate paths to get part instead of from manufacturer which could take more than a week. Trying to get part so my CLIENTS can get their home back.Whomever I spoke to would not listen long enough to even find out what I was looking for. Totally disgusted with service.I will never use.

They are an old fashioned hardware store, the kind my dad would take me when I was little, then again as a new home owner. Love it! Love them! Skip all the big box stores and take your word and needs to them!

I went here because it was close to where I work. I have a gas oven that wont light. I brought in the igniter and some part that was burnt and melted. These guys probably spent 30 min looking at and trying to figure out what happened, as it was odd to what the melted piece was. They could have sold me a $150 part and sent me on my way, but rather, they felt something else could be going on and were concerned I had a possible fire hazard going on and referred me to a trusted appliance store they do business with, to be sure I had a professional inspect and repair. They were SO nice! Im just a dumb chick who is not the least bit knowledgeable in this dept. They did not treat or talk down to me, they were genuinely concerned and explained what they thought etc. I remember one of the gentlemen was named Norm, but I didnt catch the 2 others. Old fashioned shop, seemed to have anything and everything, nice, honest fellas. Will return for any future household problems that may arise and would recommend in a heart beat! Very refreshing in a world full of jerks!

Remember when your neighborhood hardware store actually had everything you needed? This place has got to be it. Hidden away in a inner city area of Portland is this tiny hardware store with all sorts of professional grade tools, appliance parts and other general items including parts for Kerosene lanterns (when was the last time you seen those?). I called looking for a thermal cutoff for my dryer, they said they did not have the exact part number but, the dryer savvy man behind the counter seemed to know that there are others like it that might work and may have one. So I drive on down from Vancouver battling Portland traffic, a few minutes waiting at the counter and he reaches into a brown bag on the floor, pulls out a kit to repair some dryer and low and behold, there is one just like it. Now that is a lot better than trying to get a part at Lowes or Home Depot. I get a lot of dumb looks there but no parts or anything for that matter.Now my dryer works, my wife is happy and if that is how you like to roll, I would suggest hitting this place up for your appliance parts needs.
