I came into Museum Grounds at the Portland Art Museum and discovered that they upgraded their equipment and changed coffees from Stumptown to Dovetail Coffee. The espresso was so delicious it blew my mind! Their new espresso machine is clearly top-of-the-line and theyre very serious about coffee quality and featuring local vendors. Very cozy chairs and its a great place to order a coffee and sip in the artistic courtyard with urban views.
Excellent atmosphere. Would be wonderful if the food was freshly made. It is packaged food from Elephants, another restaurant in Portland. The restaurant opens onto the sculpture garden, and to their Museum Store. The Museum Store has a talented buyer, lots of terrific merchandise!
I mean where else are you going to go? They have a few soda choices and some coffee and a ton of art books you can read. There are not many places to sit. So if youre at the museum for $5 after 5 fridays you might just have to sit outside where inevitably somebody is playing the mirrored piano. Yes, thats what I said.
I really love this place. They have great tea, a good amount of seating (both indoor and outdoor), and provide a great, pleasant atmosphere for conversation. The baristas are always really kind, too!
They are so nice and friendly here. The environment is calm and peaceful. You have the extra added bonus of the museum gift shop with all its beautiful items on display to gaze upon while enjoying your favorite beverage and pastry.
The food and drink were yummy but a little overpriced. Friendly staff. Attractive and comfortable cafe
My order wasnt right so I took my plate back to the register. Asked the lady I didnt order with to fix it and she gave me the correct item without hesitation. However, the other girl who took my order began to retort that I was wrong and rolled her eyes. Completely unprofessional response. Management needs to keep that in check.
Its a nice, cozy, and quiet place to have coffee either alone or with a friend.
Comfortable environment, nice collection of browsable art books, so-so food, remarkably terrible coffee. Additionally, the terrible coffee was expensive. Counterperson seemed bedraggled. My visit did not make me want to return.
Limited selection but a nice spot for a coffee and a quick bite at the museum.
Great seating, uplifting atmosphere.
Nice relaxing place, but overheated sandwich.
Great patio.
Wonderful coffee
