Excellent little shop, feels like the worlds smallest grocery store! if you didnt mind the higher prices and limited brand selection, you could probably shop here for everything except bulk items and fresh vegetables.
Lovely staff, plenty to meet your needs - 5 out of 5!
Very friendly staff and a life saver. They are very reasonably priced and saves a you a trip to the grocery.
Great neighborhood shop with staples. The staff is great, especially Kim, who always brightens my day.
Every staff member I have met has been awesome!
A little bit of everything and reasonably priced considering the selection and the area. Cashier staff is friendly and occasionally youll see the owner working the day shift. Theres some nice hidden-good-values throughout the store such as almond milk for $2.49 which is pretty cheap considering the weight and shelf space it takes and $1 cold Iced Tea in the refrigerator. The sandwiches are hand-made and excellent. Some items will give you pause such as pretty much ANY pet food can for $3 each. Ouch! Fido or Mittens will like it though. It looks like good stuff.Ice cream has good pricing and okay selection. Same with beer. Candy selection is just okay, too, but the price is a bit high on these items...obviously a popular aisle in the store.
Wonderful staff and great selection of items especially given the stores size. Its a perfect staple for our South Waterfront community.
I always feel like the staff is watching me but what can I expect. I’m an anomaly in this neck of the woods. Dark skinned guy in South Waterfront attracts attention. Reminds me of being in a NYC bodega while living in the UES. All eyes will stay on you.
Super friendly
Surprisingly reasonable prices and excellent selection for a small store. If they dont have it, you probably dont need it. Very nice staff too.
Ive been living down here since 2014, and frequent Urbana at least a few times per week. The store is always clean and neat. The staff is friendly and helpful. Their selection is a tad small, but you have to expect that for a tiny space like this. However, their selection does include items youre most likely to need in a pinch. Considering this is the only shop of its kind down here on the water you dont have much of a choice and some of their prices reflect that, but lets be honest. Youre not going to drive down to Freddys are ya? Nope! Especially during the occasional snowpocalypse.
Everyone is incredibly kind and helpful, and the bodega is well stocked and reasonably priced.Urbana is one of the only options for convenience stores on the waterfront, and it fulfills that role well.
This place is very convenient given my residency in developing location. They have a little bit of everything and since Ive found out about this place, I no longer have to drive out of my way for cold brewskies.
They seem to have a little bit of everything and not too bad on the pricing, considering.
Great place given my location. Little pricey, but to be expected down here.
Convenience at a steep price.
I brought my dog in which if not allowed fine but the cashier chose to yell at me so I will not be returning here for any reason.
Little bit of everything fun!!
