Located in the Pioneer Place Mall, Bridge City Cafe is one of my go-to places for lunch, and Im a regular visitor. Its pricey but delicious. If you need a cheap sandwich, find a Subway instead. If you want a variety of soups, sandwiches with fresh ingredients, and excellent cookies along with friendly, personal service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended is the tomato bisque soup, and they make a coconut chocolate chip cookie worth fighting for. Theres a small seating area adjacent as its in a mall. I bypass a number of sandwich shops nearby (Subway, Pot Belly) to go to Bridge City, and thats because its noticeably better. Highly recommended.

Good place to relax with a sandwhich or salad in the heart of a run down city. Prices are a little up there but ingredient quality definitely makes up for it. Service is decent, depending on staff working at that time. Only issue is the suspicious individuals in the area.

I come here just for the tomato bisque soup. It’s amazing! Always nice and friendly associates, too.

The food was alright the two girls working there were the rudest employees i have ever met in my entire life they kept saying rude stuff to me and my freind than forgot like 3 things in my salad so i had to go ask her to add them in because i paid for them and she was mad that me for asking!

Not vegetarian/ vegan friendly. There are no vegetarian protein options. You can either get a plain salad, or a veggie sandwich. If youre vegan you end up with a sandwich with cucumber, lettuce, tomato and a small side of avocado for $14. We ordered this for a work even so I needed to order something but wouldnt choose it myself. Their food is great and fresh, just not very inclusive options.

I like the tuna sandwich, and the little lemon cookies are exquisite. Last time, I was waiting for my food for ages because theyd forgotten to tell me it was ready, or didnt say so loud enough for me to hear, a full fifteen minutes after theyd set it out on the counter. I had to ask where it was, and Id been sitting in plain sight at the table closest to the registers the whole time. I usually love this place and the food is great but thats not cool, especially when there are no other customers.

Honestly, the staff at this place are the kindest, most efficient group ever. They prepped a fruit bowl for a meeting within minutes, and I cannot stress how grateful I am for their understanding and hard work. Thank you, BC!

The Thai chicken 🐔 wrap is absolutely delicious. My best friend and I have to get it whenever were at the mall. Service is amazing. Plus you get a free cookie

I go here a couple times a week as its super convenient to work. The food is good, but some of the staff could use a revamp on their customer service skills. Othwise a great place to eat.

Terrible salads. They literally put a spoonful of sandwich style chicken salad on top of poorly chopped lettuce with extremely large cut tomatoes (so gross texture and too big of pieces for a bite) and charge you the price of a gourmet salad. I actually think their menu calls this garbage gourmet. Haha. Never again will I make this mistake. This salad was so bad I will never go back and try anything else. Talk about lazy prep.

Best salads in the area!!! They are fresh and always taste wonderful. I love the people who work there as well. The service is friendly, helpful, patient and efficient. Bridge City is my most frequented lunch spot. Thank you!!!

The Broadway Veggie sandwich is my favorite. It already comes with avocado, the cucumbers are fresh and crunchy, and the pesto mayonnaise has so much flavor.

I ordered a salad today and halfway through looked down and saw a “ lettuce fly” dead in my salad. I understand these things can happen, but when I took it back the lady seemed confused and instead of offering to refund me, she offered me cookies.... in replacement for a $6 wasted salad....will not be going back.

Very frustrating customer service experience. Family of 3 and I was starving for lunch and only had a couple of $50 bills on me and they refused to take it??? Our bill was going to come to almost $30 and they just wouldnt accept a $50 bill. Im also a owner of a the food service business and couldnt even imagine refusing money from a paying customer. I wouldnt go back just based on the fact they wouldnt reconsider.

Quick-service and sandwiches are huge

My son wanted a kids meal for lunch and the Employee told me I could not purchase a kids meal without ordering an entree myself. I said I am not hungry but my 8year old is starving and I would like to purchase a kids meal. She again told me I had to buy an entree too. I don’t want to waste food so I asked to speak with a manager and received the same response, “it’s against our policy”. I was so upset I again said I want to please pay for a kids meal, and the employee next to her said “there are kids starving in other countries”. I was so angry, I agree there are children starving in other countries but don’t know what that has to do with the fact that I didn’t want to waste food by buying entree I was not going to eat just so I could buy a kids meal!

Food was good, would have given 5 stars but this was my first time here and i didnt like that you cannot buy a kids meal without buying an adult meal. I was taking my kiddo to lunch and had to buy a meal for myself (though i didnt want one) just to buy his meal
