Pretty much a cross-stitcher’s dream. They have hundreds of cute patterns to choose from. The walls are filled with examples that they’ve framed. The staff are experts. Finally, they have all different kinds of cross stitch fabric in all different counts in all different kinds of colors. I love coming here.

I love this place. I am a beginner learning on linen and they have been so helpful. Theyve opened my eyes to Hardanger cut work which is absolutely stunning to admire but very challenging if you dont know what youre doing like me. They have EVERYTHING IMAGINEABLE AND THEN SOME FOR NEEDLE WORK. I could spend all day in there. I wanted to go there today but got too late.

If you need it they have it and they are so helpful. The new online presence is very welcome too!

Very helpful staff for a beginning cross-stitcher. They gathered everything I needed and helped me right away. Only two customers at a time in the store but you can sign in and wait in your car.

Wonderful selection of fabrics, patterns, floss and accessories. Beautiful stitched pieces everywhere you look. Best of all is how helpful and knowledgeable all the staff is! Never have I enjoyed a stitching store more!!!

This lovely shop was a touch overwhelming in a very good way. When it comes to thread it puts my local shop to shame – what a treat! I spent a good hour wandering around to really get a good look at everything and found some patterns Im very excited to own. The store is neat, well organized and even the washroom is full of inspiration! I was so pleased to see a lot of people in there and the finished samples are stunning.

This is a great cross stitching shop! They have a wide selection of threads, fabrics, patterns, and supplies. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable. While I was there, I overheard them helping a gentleman pick out fabric, supplies, and thread for his first project that he had done in years, and they were extremely helpful, encouraging, and accommodating. I also heard them helping a woman who wanted to try her first project, and they walked her through the basics. I was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend visiting.

Full of all sorts of thread in all sorts of fibers, with some cord and ribbon. Some supplies, such as hoops, needles and such, with a small array of fabrics as well as decorative buttons. Lots of patterns and small kits.Ladies who work there very nice, very helpful.As of January 10, 2020, only letting two customers in at a time as the shop is small and somewhat crowded, but theres a sign up sheet so you can wait in your vehicle and the ladies were very good about getting the next person in line.Theres no online store but you can phone in orders.

So many beautiful kits an embroidery and and cross stitch. Oh my.

Great little shop, and super friendly service. I got all the help I needed to buy basic supplies to get started cross stitching, plus lots of advice and zero up selling. Can’t wait to go back and get more colors!As of January 2021, they were letting two people at a time in the store. There’s a little sign up list out front where you can leave your name and/or number and wait in your car until its your turn.All in all, great experience, and very happy to buy local instead of online. Highly recommend.

I was in the area of this shop and decided to stop in to see if they carried any quilling supplies which they do not. But the amount of needlepoint items in that store was just jaw dropping. I am not really into needlepoint but if I ever am or if I have a friend who ever is I will know exactly where to tell them to go.

It was amazing! Very nice employees! Helpful, gave ideas, assisted with type of cloth i wanted and they are able to order things and send. Told me about things I could order. Love this store!!!

I cant say enough about Acorns & Threads. I went in today for the first time in about 6 years and I REALLY missed this place. If you want to get a master class in customer service, just come in here and watch for an hour as the lovely ladies at Acorns & Threads teach you how to give phenomenal customer service.This is a judgement free zone. I heard the same thing today as I heard 6 years ago: There are no cross-stitch police meaning, cross-stitch however the hell you want. Be happy! Jeannine is the owner and she is a wealth of knowledge as are her employees!Seriously, if you have ever cross stitched, thought of cross stitching, or know someone who does cross stitch, do yourself a favor and visit this gem of a store. I cant say enough about how great it is.If you need advice, they have it. If you need help, theyll give it. If you need a small project, theyll help you find one. If you frustrated, theyll listen. Ive been to a number of cross stitch stores, and this is the best one Ive ever been to. If youre buying floss at a big box store, stop! Come to Acorns & Threads!

What a gem of a store! The ladies were super friendly when I went in for the first time today. I cant wait to go back! Theres a great selection of so many patterns, threads, embellishments, fabrics- anything you could think of, they probably have it. They even host a group on Tuesdays where you can bring your projects and work on them! So cool!

This store is packed with everything a stitcher could ever want and more. Everyone is so nice and helpful. What a great place for a break in my long road trip! I got some great souvenirs and left with a huge smile.

I love this shop. Laurie and Jeanine are very helpful and just plain nice. I feel like I am visiting friends when I come shopping. They work hard to make the shop inviting and a joy to visit. If there is something you want to order, they will get it. If they cant get it, no one can.

The initial greeting was warm and friendly. Was looking at the items for a trunk show. DO Not Touch per the owner? Didnt even ask if I wanted her to check if they had the chart....just that it could be mailed. Nothing like feeling you arent welcome in her store. Will make up my own chart and wont buy from that store ever again.

The staff will go out of their way to help you find anything, change floss colors, or try something new! @Patti - Trunk Shows sometimes display things that dont belong to the shop owner, and the oils on your hands can stain the needlework - she was being careful with what was entrusted to her as a loan! The patterns can sell out really quickly at trunk shows, so she probably knew they didnt have any left. Try going there again, theyre really nice!!!

I sometimes think that I may be the official shop mascot because I am here so often, but it really is worth being there often. The linens, threads, and patterns are updated weekly with new charts, colors, or re-stocks of popular items. There are always stitch groups and trunk shows from designers. There are always M&Ms, makes the trip so perfect. I have been here a hundred times, and I think that I have seen everything, but it is so full of great stuff and new possibilities that I have only scratched the surface of what there is to see. There are lots of models on the wall and if you want to order a pattern, they can usually get it in in about a week. Before I lived in the area I always ordered online, now I only purchase from the shop and everyone I have met here is a friend!
