So many interesting new paths in crafting! Weaving, spinning, knitting machines, felting... Supplies and knowledge and inspiration. Lovely yarn and notions for regular old knitting and crocheting, too.

Im an avid knitter and walked into this store and was delighted to see so much beautiful yarn. I walked over to the counter where two employees engaged in conversation with each other for an extended period of time. After awhile, I smiled and said, Hi, sorry to interrupt....I have a question... One of the women snapped at me that they were busy. They lost a customer right then and there; I would have dropped a good hundred bucks that day. Downright weird customer service.

Ill be honest-- Im not a fiber arts guy. Ive dropped by here once or twice because my friends mom owns the place.... that said I appreciate the huge selection of yarn, calm environment, the nice library, and the classes seem pretty swell!

Such interesting finds - reflective yarn, a nice selection of weaving yarn, unusual knitting yarns. The offerings seem carefully chosen to make the most of their space. If you just want a gazillion yards of baby acrylic, go to a chain. If youre willing to be tempted to add to your stash because the yarn is too lush to pass up, come here. The staff are super knowledgeable and nice.

Thanks to Fiber Rhythm, the very bamboo yarn I needed was received promptly. She was so kind as to hurry my order so it could get out before the Columbus day holiday would hold it up. Not only that, but it was a pure delight to have a human answer the phone and answer my questions intelligently along with concern for my needs.. What a pleasure it was to find such a service oriented business that also offers superb quality products to match!

Im so thankful this place is close by! I ran out of a reflective thread that I was using on a project and not only did Fiber Rhythm have something that matched, it was better than the Kreinik reflective yarn I had bought before. Since I only needed a tiny amount they were kind enough to give me the end of a spool. It was a DREAM to work with. I was doing duplicate stitch over stockinette and I could go about 3x faster with their product. They saved my bacon!

The owner is really nice and helpful! She helped us install a new sponge on our knitting machine and made sure it was working properly. She was very patient with our unending questions about various equipment and yarn in her store, staying beyond closing time. A++ experience!

They are a fountain of knowledge. Absolutely wonderful experience. I took a weaving class there and have rented looms from them several times now. They have a wide range of specialty yarns, as well as hand dyed and locally sourced fabrics. Their weaving and knitting classes are great and it is great to get advice from master knitters.

I went there looking for a fid, for basket weaving. Thats a wooden spike or punch to push basket withies down into the weave so that the cut ends dont show. This was an instance in which a Google search for an object lead me to place that didnt have it, but Im still giving a good review. This is a fiber arts store which has all different kinds of yarn and knitting machines and knitting supplies. I never knew it was there before. Its nice and close in inner SE.They teach classes, including how to use knitting machines. After you learn how, you can rent time, so if you have a hankering to start knitting and you dont know how, and youd like to use a knitting machine, you can learn to do it there! You can make socks or sweaters, and they have all the supplies you need. The lady who runs it was very nice, and super informative.

Very small selection. Most the the store is taken up by the workshop, so hardly any room for product.

Heard that this store carries weaving yarns and stopped by to check it out. The owner Dawn was there and spent time walking me through the stock of beautiful yarns. Ive already been back! A few classes are offered as well. Theyre in the midst of a move to the Ford Building.

My mom went in today and had a very bad experience. The owner was very rude and refused to sell something to my mother that was in the back, and my mom had done nothing to upset her at all. I am not sure if the owner was having a bad day but this is no way to treat customers as my mom was in tears when she left the store. Will not be going back and will not be recommending this place to anyone we know. Worst shopping experience ever.
