I am a person that does not normally wear jewelry of any kind so I had some questions. When I emailed Malka, I wasn’t sure what to expect, since I wrote such a messy novel to them. When Ronnie emailed me back, she sounded so nice, and was incredibly patient with us. We set up a virtual meeting with Ronnie about customizing a ring for me, and she showed us stones within our budget. I am super impressed with Malka Diamonds & Jewelry! They treated us so great, especially considering that our first visit there was for an inexpensive diamond earring reset. I love my new earrings!They were also willing to polish, clean and check all of my best jewelry for free, since I had not been to a jeweler for this since moving here four years ago. The results were amazing. It was like a brand new jewelry collection when I picked everything up. We were treated as if we were buying an expensive heirloom at Malka. I wanted to find a jeweler similar to what I had in CO. True artisans that can create custom pieces onsite and are a local business (pretty rare). I look forward to the new shop coming in summer 2021, and putting together a new jewelry creation with them in the future. I am an older married lady, but if I was newly engaged, I would have them make my ring in a heartbeat.

My fiancé and I came to Malka to pick out my engagement ring. We were able to customize a ring using diamonds from rings that belonged to my family, which made it so special. They were so helpful for the whole process and I was thrilled with how my ring turned out! Because of the great service at Malka, we came back to get our wedding bands there. They had so many great options and we both were able to find bands that we loved.

I had a 1930s vintage engagement ring that had been fixed one too many times and needed to be rebuilt. Chloe helped me identify what was original and what was not. We were able to design a basket that was more in keeping with the period and preserved the details I loved. What an awesome family-run jewelry store. David is an absolute expert (seriously, hes one of the few GIA gemologists in the NW). I came to Malka on a recommendation from a friend, looking to have my late nannas old diamond ring refashioned into an engagement ring. I didnt have the biggest budget, but Dave talked me through all of my options and never once tried to sell me anything I didnt want or couldnt afford. He designed a beautiful ring that used my nannas gold and small diamonds, and helped me pick the perfect center diamond for the ring. Daves whole approach was all about which diamond was best for me, NOT trying to sell me the most expensive diamond. He actually ended up recommending one of the less expensive diamonds because the cut and the color were the best match for this specific ring. There’s no pushy sales pitch at Malka, just lots of friendly, expert advice.My wife and I have since gotten engaged and married (this review is well overdue) and she is absolutely in love with the ring! It is clean and classic and holds so much sentimental value for both of us. I really cant describe how thankful I am to Dave and the whole staff for their help. We ended up coming back to buy both our wedding bands, and will come back to Malka for many years to come.

We took a family ring in to Malka to give it a more modern touch for an engagement ring. The end result was far better than expected. I knew nothing of what the process would look like. I have a very old chain that i wear everyday and it snapped in half. i called malka and they were responsive and so kind. unsure if they were going to be able to fix it based on where the chain had broken, they said that they would do their best and if it wasn’t repairable that they would be happy to help me find another one similar. lucky it was able to be repaired and done so perfectly plus in an incredibly timely manner. i would definitely recommend them for repairs. also i window shop there often and their selection of vintage jewelry is magnificent.

Super helpful staff that helped me purchase a ring for my dad. Didn’t know all the right terminology but they were very sweet and talked me through what I was looking for. Had to special order but it came 1 day earlier than expected and called me right away to pick it up. Of course I got the wrong size but they offered free resizing even though the ring was increasing by more than 2 sizes. Rare to see this kind of service any more. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this jeweler.

I really thought this was a classy place. With great people. I had the David look at a ring. He told me it was basically junk. Diamonds were signal cut and set in silver. He was wrong. Had it appraised it is a 6.6 ct Chrome Tourmaline. Full cut diamonds set in 18kt. As inexpensive as Amethyst is. I know now They change my real Amethyst for 300.00 for a synthetic one. I now have 0 trust in this company. I was sure he new what he was doing being the owner. Ill take the blame for the stone change. But I do no he could have put a real stone in for 300.00. I was so impressed with the people at Malka Diamonds! I didnt exactly know what I wanted in a wedding ring, but knew that I wanted a unique band without any diamonds. They created a ring for me based off of one I already liked and it was perfect! The engraving on the inside is beautiful and the ring is exactly what I wanted. They even managed to make the ring for me in only 2 weeks!! I would definitely recommend Malka to anyone looking for a wedding ring.

The team at Malka is very professional, I have a wedding ring from my mothers side of the family originally purchased in the 1850s but it was too small, not only did they adjust the band, but they polished it and cleaned it which I didnt even ask for. I also cant even tell a difference in the band. Two thumbs up and I will be back for all my jewelry needs.

I’ve never written a review before but really disappointed in this experience. Went in twice trying to give them the benefit of the doubt too. As a newly engaged person shopping with my fiancé we had no clue where to start, it’s overwhelming and a big investment. Had the same woman twice and she was completely unhelpful, snobby and looked annoyed when I didn’t even have the vocabulary of what kind of ring I was shopping for. She just looked at me like she didn’t know what I was talking about instead of helping. Didn’t try to educate or consult or find options. Would not recommend for first time shoppers. Terrible experience.

She is going to be wearing this ring forever, hopefully, so that experience mattered to me more than it normally would.We decided on a vintage, 1930s ring. Malka has a good selection of classy old rings, and they are completely restored by their in-house jeweler. In addition to modern styles, they actually have new rings that are designed to look vintage... I think we looked at every ring in their cases. Actually, I think we looked at every ring in within the city limits.David is a gemologist. It was a down to earth, quality experience. There was no hawking over us, it was comfortable. My fiance even checked out the ring a second time at her lunch hour. It really was a great experience.

I have a unique ring that I purchased in France about 4 years ago. Its silver and was showing wear. I wanted them to make an exact duplicate in white gold. It came out perfect: looks even better than the original. The jeweler was really happy with the result, as am I. I would definitely recommend this place for any custom work.

I wish I could give this shop 100 stars for the quality of work and level of service. I received a beautiful vintage engagement ring that my fiance got from his mother. The stones and band were beautiful, but the main stone was set way too high and needed a completely new head. This was a big job and I was terrified that I might not like the end result. I was foolish to worry because the ring looks better than I could have ever imagined. They are masters at what they do. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is shopping for a ring or is in need of someone to make some adjustments. They are hands down the best in town!

We were on our way to grab some lunch and passed Malkas BEAUTIFUL assortment of vintage rings. We decided to pop inside and look around for a little bit. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest people! Tessa chatted with us and happily let us try on any ring we wanted. She even cleaned all of our rings and made them look so beautiful. Hands down the best jewelry store I have ever been into. If I was getting married, this would be the place I would buy my ring based on the selection of rings and the friendly service.

TLDR: Dont come here. They pretty woman you until they find out how much you can afford and decide if you are worth it. Disgusting.I was absolutely disgusted with Malka Diamonds & Jewelry. My Fiance (former girlfriend) and I were excited to go look for engagement rings. We had gone to a few places and were nervous about the whole thing. Its a big deal in a relationship and life. We entered Malka (second place) of the day feeling more comfortable from going to another place before. When we entered the store, the woman at the front didnt even look up. We started to look into the cases and still no visit from the woman. She finally came up asking if she could help us with anything. No smile. just pure attitude. Like we did not belong. (Which funny enough we both madeit a point to dress nicely). When we told her the ring we thought my faince liked, she said they only had one to show (pear shape) and that it wasnt a popular choice. (Which is untrue according to the other various places we went to after). She then didnt give us a time of day as we asked various questions and if there was anything similar to the pear we would like. We had to dig to get answers from this lady. Fast forward a few minutes as we ask about prices by karat for a ring like a pear and when we told her our budget her tune completely changed. NIGHT AND DAY. She started asking for our information, bringing out more rings and saying she could get some brought in to show. It was disgusting. I will under no circumstance ever recommend Malka Diamonds.

The customer service at Malka is great. The selection is great. There is no sales pressure at all, they only help you find the piece of jewelry that youre looking for. My wife was steered towards a less expensive ring as it better matched the style she described to them. We found Malka after visiting a larger friend in the diamond business, thinking that the latters selection or prices might be better. The experience at the larger store was off putting; you see someone at the front, you wait, you see a second person who hurriedly shows you as many rings as possible in a short amount of time all while trying to get you to commit a deposit, then you go to another room with cashiers. Malka is the complete opposite. One friendly person to greet you, direct you towards their available pieces, while offering helpful advice and letting you know there is no rush or need to decide on the spot. Its a pleasant, no pressure experience.

Love, Love, Love Malka!They were so great for my fiance and I all through the process, we both love our rings and Malka saved the day when our rings and everything was stolen the night before our wedding. (No I am not joking, I wish I was.) My now husband called David and told him what happened, David was able to re-create my band that day and came into the shop early to work on it so I would have it for our wedding that afternoon. We will buy all jewelry from there forever. Small super classy shop with great prices and beautiful work. Highly, highly recommend.

Follow them on social media and really like what I see. Keep trying to get to look at their selection but limited hours on weekends make it difficult for those who work during the week. Last time made it at 4:45 on a Friday and were told they were closing in 10 minutes so I tried on 4 rings and then had to leave.

The store is really cute and we were greeted by Chloe. After a brief conversation, Chloe walked away and returned with a box full of vintage settings; she immediately understood our vision. After picking my favorite vintage setting, I had my dream engagement ring a week later. The whole experience was so wonderful, the customer service was amazing and the prices were great. I went to Malka without reading reviews. Initially I came to sell my beautiful Tacori wedding set that I had bought at a consignment shop impulsively earlier this year. It was uncomfortable because it had diamonds and decoration all around it. Ronnie was very helpful and suggested some different options. The ring had CZ as the main stone and after consulting with Ronnie I decided that I wanted a colored stone in it to make the set more for fashion rather than daily use. She said they could order a stone and also make the ring more comfortable to wear. The price quoted was very fair and they did exactly what they said they would in the time framed promised. When I bought the ring it was bent and a little big. I had asked another jeweler to size it and fix the bend but she said she could not fix the bend it was to difficult. Malka not only did the requested work beautifully, they also made the ring a lot straighter in the process. I will absolutely be back, hopefully very soon!

This company is the best! We had them custom design my wedding band (which was a fairly intricate design). I essentially gave them a napkin drawing, they made a few suggestions to improve the design and within a very reasonable timeframe they delivered back to me the most beautiful and perfect wedding band! To top it off, on a separate occasion, they took the time to fix my engagement ring, which was not even purchased through them. They fixed the prongs, straightened a couple of the diamonds that were set poorly and got it back to me within a week. I trust these guys 100% and could say more about the quality of work that they do!

This shop is the epitome of family-owned, local business. I went in with a very specific kind of antique design in mind for an engagement ring. Ronnie and Dave helped me find an amazing piece well within my price range (they didnt push me at all on that!), and then had great suggestions for some slight alterations. Long story short: I needed the ring resized and reset with a new diamond within a day, and THEY CAME THROUGH. AND at an incredible price. I would highly highly recommend this place!

The jewel on the ring had came loose, but I forgot to tell them this upon dropping it off. I received a call that the ring was finished exactly a week later (when they said they would call) and when I picked it up, I discovered a beautifully polished and resized ring... the best part? They fixed the jewel. I didnt even have to ask them, they just went right ahead and fixed it.I call that real customer service. David helped me find the perfect vintage engagement ring. Id looked all over town and found Malka to be the best combination of selection, service, and value. They can customize, clean, and resize rings right in the store, and their follow up cleanings and maintenance really add a lot of value. When a favorite pendant broke Malka was able to perform a repair surprising quick. Their staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I was impressed with their designs and am considering having some custom work done by them.
