We were visiting Portland and were staying at a home that had a garage below the house and on a steep slope toward the house. Our son borrowed the van and hit reverse and seriously damaged the garage door. Since this was not our house I needed to get this repaired or replaced quickly.Wow!, contacted Pacific Overhead Door and a rep came out the next morning, followed up with an estimate and then the tech was there that afternoon and replaced the door. Great service and the price was very competitive. Dont mess with anybody else, these folks are the real deal.

My door was old already and was on its last legs. The spring broke and made it final. Time for a new door.Called them and spoke with Justin to get a replacement. He was quick to help me get the ball rolling and setup with an appointment to replace it. Inventory has been low but they had what I needed.Kyle arrived soon after and did an excellent job explaining things. He did a careful job and clearly has a knack for detail and quality.Contractors can be hit or miss, but this is a good one.

In 2017, I needed new garage door springs and after calling around and getting some quotes I was most impressed with Pacific Overhead Door. After crunching numbers they helped me come to the decision that since my garage door was so old, I would be better off replacing my garage door all together. I absolutely LOVE my beautiful new garage door. It is much more energy efficient and gave my house a much needed facelift.It was an easy process to order my new door and schedule the installation and I’ve been enjoying my sunlight lit garage.This week I called them to see if they could service my garage door and Rusty came over and serviced it and tuned up the moving parts.Rusty was very informative and knowledgeable and give me some tips and tricks on some preventative maintenance for my garage door and garage door opener. And the best part is it only cost me $129!I highly recommend Pacific Overhead Door!

Pacific door had a competitive bid and was only slightly higher than Overhead Door of Portland and Ponderosa Door of Portland. The problem with Pacific Door is that after receiving their bid you will note on their quote that they require a 50% down payment before even starting the job. Because we had never done business with Pacific door we were not comfortable with that arrangement. We contacted Ross and told him that we were not comfortable with the 50% down but that we would be glad to pay him upon completion of the installation. He was quite direct and said he was not interested in our business and we needed to take our business elsewhere. Which we did! We got a better bid, a better product and was able to pay Overhead Door of Portland upon completion of the job, as it should be. I would not recommend Pacdoor as there is an unacceptable level of arrogance that exists within the company. I know times are good in construction but requiring people to pay 50% down to a company youve never worked with before is just a little much. I would recommend taking your business to Overhead Door of Portland.

The whole experience was great. They arrived when they said they would; came up with a plan to work with my low ceiling; provided the quote quickly. Once I gave the go ahead the door arrived sooner than expected and installation was great. I would definitely use them again. As a plus, more professional and less expensive than the other quote I got.

You know when the garage door sqeeks and takes 3 or more remote presses to get it to operate?..Made the appointment and Tune started on the dot... he went right to the main issues- What a relief to know- it behaves on the 1st remote press, and its quieter. Like a car, -moving parts need a pro once in a while!

I recently had to replace a garage door panel that was damaged when pulling out ot my garage. It is a 3 door garage so to make a long story short, I called a company ( I wont name) who came out, got the door down but then indicated a day or two later that to replace the damaged door panel I needed to replace the entire door (initial quote of $1,200) and that they could not find a match so to keep all 3 doors looking the same it would cost $3,600.At that point I decided to look elsewhere and called Pacdoor. They came out looked at the door, indicated it was not manufactured by the company the first door company said and told me they would try to find a match to allow me to just replace the damaged panel.Fast forward to today the just got the new door panel installed. It looks great and basically is identical to the original door at a cost of $472.00. It looks great and work perfectly.This company (Pacdoor) is honest, does good worked and wont try to suck you dry. An honest company! I know its are but they really are honest people and do good work. I recommend them highly.

We had Pacific Overhead Door come repair our garage door. They arrived on time, did a wonderful job, provided great customer service, and all at a great price. We definitely recommend this company.

My kids got a ball stuck in the garage door and when we engaged the automatic opener, the door came crashing down like a house of cards. Pacific came out within 2 hours, and Rusty was able to put everything back together in 2 hours. Rusty did a very good job fixing the door, repairing any bent pieces, and adding in additional supports in areas that were damaged. I was charged a fair price and will be a repeat customer in the future. Highly recommend this company.

This staff is incredible. I didnt expect A+ customer service when I called 10 minutes before their shop closed ... but we got it! Billy was very accommodating in helping us get our broken door secure for the night. He took his time in explaining our options and the quote for repair/replacement came in promptly the next morning as agreed upon.

Our old cheaply built garage door finally died. We called Pacific Door for an estimate, saying it was not an emergency situation because we used the garage for storage and not for vehicles. Nevertheless they came to the house in 2 days to take measurements and schedule installation for the next week. The installer came on time and was finished in 2 hours. Everyone I dealt with was polite and inspired trust. A+

We had Pacific Overhead Garage door repair the broken spring last August. The door worked better than it had ever worked for us. 10 months later something went wrong with the lift mechanism so I called them up to repair it. They sent a repairman out the next day at no charge and the door is up and running again. I really appreciate that they stand behind their work and were able to fix the door so quickly. Both repairmen were very personable and the original repair cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Pacific Overhead Door to anyone needing garage door repair.
