These guys are a pleasure to work with. Ive used them for both a rowing machine and a treadmill and they were great. Prices seem very reasonable too. Ill definitely use them again in the future when the need arises.

I have not worked with GFS very long (new to a management role) but I appreciate everything they have done for my business so far! I have purchased two new pieces of equipment that were in fantastic condition and very popular with our members. GFS is also very reliable and attentive. They are quick to stop by if any of our equipment has issues.

I have an old Life Fitness recumbent bike that no longer powers up. I called these guys and they spent all sorts of time researching the problem with my specific model even though they werent going to make much money on the repair. They clearly know their stuff, and are really good people. Theyre pros.

Amazing customer service, and I’m not even a customer yet! The guy I spoke with about potentially repairing my 15-year-old treadmill was incredibly helpful. He could have charged me $$$ for repair but suggested I buy new online (i.e. not from General Fitness Maine) because all I need is residential not commercial. The guy gave me ideas, suggestions, guidance, even models and price ranges to look for, and then for the cost of a service call General Fitness will come to my house and assemble my purchase and make sure everything is good to go. 1000% chance I will call General Fitness Maine when my new treadmill eventually needs repairs.

I cannot speak highly enough about how pleased I am with the service I received here. Allen was highly responsive, helpful, and friendly. I would absolutely recommend anyone with exercise equipment that needs maintenance to go here. Great business and very helpful staff.

You cant give a company zero stars in a review, but thats how I would score them. I called and asked about a USED $5,000 treadmill, and when I questioned the guy about the price, he saidI dont care if you dont buy it. Somebody else will. And, that was that. So, if you are looking for even a basic welcome, I would look at another store. I did.

Had a great experience with general fitness services! I bought a Matrix treadmill that is refurbished. Looks basically brand new and runs great and is very quiet. I run between 2-3000 miles a year and about 25-50% of those are spent on a treadmill. I had a non-commercial treadmill that I ran thousands of miles on, and it never felt as solid as this machine does, even brand new. I also think its great that you have access to trained staff to service the machine if it needs also. That was a problem with my other machine was finding someone and parts to service it. Go with this place, you wont be disappointed!
