Awesome produce with great prices!! Also, cant say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff are especially Alicia!!! Definitely going to be my regular stop for fresh produce from now on.
Love portland fruit!! produce is always fresh, and nice selection of hummus, salsas and hot sauce. staff is super friendly and helpful. THANKS!!
Have been here several times always just a open air style fruit store so lots of flies and you got a sort through the fruit to make sure youre not getting anything gross but their prices have always been amazing their selection has been better than most grocery stores its sad to see them leave.
Seasonal produce, when possible. Super friendly and helpful staff. A little pricier than other options but worth it for what you are getting!
We liked the products they offer. Tortillas, fruit veggies and cheeses. The young man at the register was very helpful and even offered receipts for the Mexican ricotta cheese.
Stop by here before your go to the grocery store and and get super cheap, excellent fruit and veggies. Also my favorite brand of Mexican queso cheese made in Salem, OR is in the cooler! And don’t forget the Amish popcorn!
Loving the seasonal fruits. Their batch of dragon foot is awesome. Going back for more before they run out.
A nice neighborhood produce market. No bicycle parking though.
They are always so kind here the produce is be always fresh and they accept EBT. Prices are better then a grocery store
Friendly crew. Good selection of fresh fruit.
Clean, friendly, place, good selection, better quality, and fresher then most stores! So tired of tasteless out of state fruit, I believe most of the produce they offer is locally grown, support local growers!
Great produce at a great price. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions.
Nice selection even in off season. Fair prices. Wish they would label things from local farms.
Nice selection of produce at reasonable prices.
Great prices and nice staff
My go to place for produce! The fresh salsa is amazing and I don’t eat any other kind anymore. Happy with the new ownership!
Got there late and the attendant was very patient even though clearly was closing time. Great selection
Nice local produce market however selection and pricing varies. Sometimes the pricing cheaper than the big box stores sometimes its more. One has to check everything out well as I have brought home a subpar item here more than once but the staff is friendly and helpful. They also have fresh made tamales, and the typical and basic produce market groceries like tortillas, nuts and seed, milk and butter. Easy in and out.
They have organic shiitake mushrooms! This is an awesome local market, with great fresh produce, and a few other things.
Great selection and layout. The tamales kept warm by the cashier are excellent, too.
The fruit we got was tasty. I got tomato and cantaloupe 🍈 which was super sweet and delicious 😋
Great staff great selection amazing prices
Ive followed them on Facebook for awhile. I finally stopped by today and was blown away by their selection. They were even selling fresh tamales. Great service, friendly staff. Ill definitely be back.
This is a really easy access, and quick way to pick up some fresh fruit, at a very fair price. The selection is inclusive of all and any choices that can be found at any big box grocery stores, but without the crowds and parking and prices, a must visit in Portland, then you can go across the Foster Rd, and visit the new Asian market, on SE 82ND @ Foster.A very Good visit.
Great neighborhood produce shop. Displays are neat, tidy, and produce is appealing. Selection is diverse without offering an overwhelming number of choices. In addition to apples, oranges, squash, and some other veggies, I took home some tasty rye bread (of which there are many kinds!) and look forward to trying other baked goods here in the future. The cashier even sent us home with some free strawberries he happened to have out of season. Hope to become a regular here!
Great little local business. Good prices. Friendly people.
I love coming to the fruit stand. I always buy a bunch of produce and make preserves and ciders.
Im always met with a smile and a hello when entering this business. Good selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables with some basic staples. Im not a Beer Drinker, but it looks like there Growler fill station does pretty well also. I should all also mention that they have generous samples on produce.
Nice little produce stand on the corner. Not a huge selection, but they do have good prices and the produce is very seasonal. Growler fill station is a new addition, with local craft beer and kombucha. Local honey in jars, secret aardvark hot sauce, as well as a few other very local products rounds out the selection.
This place recently changed owners, and they’ve been making lots of improvements! The prices are some of the best around, they have a good selection of organic, local, and non-organic produce, plus kombucha, CBD soda, beer, and more. Previously, before the new owners, there was frequently tired, old produce—that no longer seems to be the case.
Fantastic as always.
Great place to get fresh produce, even items you think arent in season. I picked up fresh pineapples, cantaloupe, personal sized watermelons and asparagus in February!
I love this fruit market, they have such wonderful prices and really great selection of yummy fruits and veggies. You can also fill growlers here! The staff is helpful and very nice. They do accept debit with $5.00 minimum purchase, there is a small fee for purchases under $5.00
Came in looking for a snack! Never had been in before but I pass it everyday on my way to work. Finally popped in and I’m glad I did! Very cute and homey establishment and the worker, though I didn’t get his name, was very nice. There is a 5$ minimum on cards which is understandable. Really open layout and easy to make your way around. Wonderful little store.
Customer service great products Portland staple
Nice little local fruit stand. Lots of variety here, plenty of apples, veggies and other fruits. They have a nice variety of honey as well.
People are friendly. Good food at a fair price.
Beautiful storeFruits and vegetables distributed by United SaladWell laid out and clean merchandiseBilingual staff
Awesome selection, especially of melons in the summer. Local mushrooms, berries, honey, and other products is pleasantly surprising. Wish the vid was less of an issue so I could get a growler refilled or sit and have a pint (usually pretty good beer selections on tap, especially for IPA loving hopheads). They have a sister store way out on the west side of town, now at 185th and Farmington in the Aloha area. Also a great selection packed into a tiny space with rad employees that know produce.
Great 👍👍👍 the place to pick up fresh veg n fruit
My favorite produce place for years! My mom used to bring me here, and now I bring my son. They are so nice about sampling (always with permission, of course) so my son loves trying new/local produce and bringing lots of it home. Their prices are comparable to the chain grocery stores and they accept EBT.
I love the selection of fruit here. They stock blood oranges in season at $1 a pound CHEAPER than at another trendy grocery store, which will not be named. The staff is knowledgeable on the produce. They also carry lovely baked goods from a local Russian bakery.
A good selection of fruit. A bit on the pricey side and closes a bit early. Friendly staff and nice open layout.
Great selection, Quality, friendly staff at a great value.
Just a wonder. I LOVE this place.Great prices, nice selection, fantastic owner (kind, knowledgeable, gracious). This is the place.
Ive been coming here for about a year now and love the selection and prices!! I really appreciate their employee Tammy. Everytime I go in there she is always so friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out!!
I get up to the counter with two handfuls of fruit and veg and she tells me the total, I hand her my card and she says, There is a $5 minimum. Really? Cant you just charge me an extra $0.50?! If my money isnt good enough then fine, but Ill never go back. So much for supporting a local business. Youve forever lost a customer that eats a lot of fruits and veg.
Prices and selection of produce is very good; however, there is little to no organic produce, which is specifically why I went. It is the height of growing season, and theres no organic berries, melons, or stone fruit. Really?! Ive found plenty at the Fred Meyer just across the street. Either change your advertising to reflect reality or acquire reliable suppliers of organic produce.
Watch prices carefully. Some are better elsewhere.
Really great prices, delicious apples.
Great, cheap local fruits and vegetables. They don’t sort through their fruit super well as there is often bad fruit in some bins, and they don’t bag it super well, like blueberries they just kind of tossed in the bag and they got everywhere, or the cabbage squished the pears because they were in the same bag. Still four stars though because there is excellent produce there for very cheap.
High quality produce market with milk, eggs, kombucha, bobs red mill, nuts, honey. Most things local. Good prices. Highly recommend.
Best prices and quality, and often local seasonal items are great deals!! Its worth the extra trip. No extra packaging! Bring your own bag or bottle (beer and cider growler fills) Ask any they will often give you a sample. As a foodie and locomote, I visit twice a week.
Loved shopping here until health drove me to organically grown food.
This place is great. The prices are way less expensive than the Fred Meyer across the street. Now it has a cover over the front, so the fruit isnt out in the elements. Also, they now have beer to fill growlers and their refrigerators have micro brew beer!
Ive been coming to this place since I was a little girl and I love it! Best place to get fruit and vegetables. They also have my favorite paletas so thats a bonus! The owner is really nice too.
Good inexpensive selection. Great sales every day. Check out Growler Happy Hour. Super friendly staff.
Been here several times, its my favorite place to get large Honey crisp apples and a variety of in season fruits/veggies. Also, their pickled beets are delicious! Some things are more pricey, and some are very competitive it just depends.
Excellent selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. The only place i can find Bing cherries.
Great prices. Friendly people. Will be back.
Thank you for some awesome and affordable produce and friendly service!
My go-to for fresh produce thats reasonably priced.
Good selection of produce, had tasty fresh samples and wonderfully helpful staff, though not the most presentable facility Ive ever visited. Only place Ive been able to find purple potatoes! Mmm.
What’s the point of having a mask if you take it off and breath all over my groceries? Will not be going back.
Great produce. Fill Growlers. What else do you need........
Friendly customer service and outstanding Tamales
The best quality fruit and produce in this part of town, and affordable. I usually splurge a little and walk out of there with two heavy bags of produce for fifteen bucks or less. They even have eggs and milk. You have to try this place.
From the great produce to the fun 22oz ciders and taps this place is quality. I do wish at times it was larger so I could spend more time there.
Excellent selection of local fruit at our below market prices. Also, about 12 taps for growler fills of beer, cider and kombucha. Anything for $10 from 2-close Mon through Thurs. Im a regular. Could you tell?
Nice to support local business. A number of kombucha offerings on tap, but they were out of a couple. Produce was hit or miss, but definitely some good stuff available. A number of decent (alcoholic) cider offerings were available on tap, too! Very unique family-owned place. They even had CBD-fortified drinks!
Nice and clean, fresh veg. and fruits. Very nice employees
Not the prettiest fruit and veggies, but they make up for it with good prices. Only negative I have to say is that they don’t have a lot of stuff that isn’t completely ripe yet, and that I don’t have to use the day I buy it. Employees were friendly as well.
Always wondered what was in there as I sat at the light. Curiosity satisfied.
Used to be great. Went downhill 2 years ago. Seems like new owners or something. Produce quality is terrible, selection of organics disappointing, and grocery section is tiny now.
Wanted apples to can...they had them fairly priced and the young woman who helped me was very friendly. And it was very clean.
The staff is super friendly and helpful! You can sample pretty much everything and you can buy a lot of basics there along with your produce. Plus growlers of kombucha and beer!
Good choices in fresh fruit & veggies. Mostly local choices
Went around the chaos of road construction as the open sign was on. When I walked in, the front door was open and a young blond women told me at 7:01 and that I could pick out one thing only because the store was closed. It would appear she had plans with her friend who was on the shop waiting for her to join on some plans. Unfortunate that she didn’t care I was late because of construction. Poor training by management or poor customer service. She could have put her plans off by 5 minutes.
EBT machine has been down for over a month. When I first inquired the government shut down was the problem. Next time the vendor. Third week the owner was very rude about it. What do they have against low income families? I looked around, it seems over priced and not good quality. I walk by everyday to work, and could of been good customer. .. I wont go back.
Love this place! I have been going there since i was a kid. They always have great prices and great quality.
Fresh fruits and vegetables - many at the best price in the area. Sometime stores like Good Neighbor that is 5 min away driving distance is the competition for fresh product.
Easygoing, simple (quick), good quality produce stand.
Great alternative to the stores with sub-par produce. There are great choices of in-season fruit and vegetables and they also have a refill station for local hand crafted beer.
AWESOME selection of fresh produce. They have plant starts in the spring and summer. Nice selection of nuts, jellies, honey, local beer and cider. Check this place out.
Always a pleasure and always something new. I just love this place.
Love this place. Tammy is a huge asset to the company she has a grwat personality and takes the time to get to know her regulars. I go in for the honey and she always ensures they have my favorite flavers on hand for me. When i had to hqve a seroous back surgery a spine transplant Tammy offered to bring by my honey sticks if i wasnt able to get around. Kudos to Tammy I love you girl!
Good prices good product friendly staff. Parking was a bit rough but will visit again.
Some of the fruit is really ripe and if you dont eat it right away, dont buy it. It had some really killer deals though.
A nice selection of local, seasonal produce at great prices.
Ive stopped in a few times and every time I have the best experience great staff willing to help all around great experience..thank you..
Great ppl great fruit JUST GREAT ALL IN ALL. OH YEAH I SAY GREAT
Very competitive prices
Closed forever 😢😢😢
The store is small and doesnt always have everything that you need- but what it does have is fantastic and remarkably inexpensive.
Stopped in for some vegetables the assortment is great here.
Small place but great selection and prices. Now has growler fills with a happy hour price.
Great variety of local fruits and veggies. The growler service is nice too.
