Hey if you like antiquing your way thru construction supplies toys bikes clothes and who knows what all you will find next, and its always changing, this is the place to go awesome prices also
Love looking around here, they have a little bit of everything..nice furniture, clothes, exercise equipment, building materials etc..new stuff every day. Great store
Volunteers do allot of work here while employed members on the clock act as if they have no idea whats going on, they act like they dont want to be there and that they hate their life, the only employees Ive seen that are helpful are always the old guys. Ive had employees tell me theyre busy when Ive asked questions or for help.
Wow! Restore customer service for the win. I found a beautiful range in their online store, and called into customer service to ask for the model number. Samantha took it to the next level - she found the model number and then called the manufacturer to see if I could convert it to propane. She called me back with an answer, and I truly appreciate her help! Thank you Restore for all that you do!
They remodeled! Super clean, as always. Plenty of staff to help you if need be and awesome prices. Why cant bigger stores be this nice to shop at?
This restore is awesome it’s more like a thrift store tho cause it has clothes as well as used and donated homedepot and Lowe’s kind of items I believe it could benefit from having more little items related to home fixing tho but it does have a lot of stuff especially cabinets and furniture!!
I bought a roll away toolbox bottom. It was priced good. When the guy got it to counter he said he was going to find who priced it and have a talk with him...They need to remember where and how they get these items and keep the prices Down. Thats the whole point of it
They wont accept cash over x amount, I think it was $10, because of COVID. Im fairly certain that the virus doesnt care which president is on the bill. Either take cash or dont, your policy is beyond stupid. I will not be back, and happily drive to Salvation Army, or another Christian thrift store from now on.
A great place to visit if you want something used
I enjoy Habitat Restores. Great place to find household items, tools, and building materials. The employees are nice and helpful.
Great layout, great selection of items. Friendly staff/volunteers. A little bit of everything in the household world. Reasonable prices.
Very helpful people who love their work. Donations of good used building materials are sold here to help homeowners with too expensive building costs. Great idea.
Greats deals! I was actually disappointed in myself for not thinking to check here before buying furniture. Their clothes have set prices too which I really appreciate. Now you won’t be surprised when a name brand T-shirt is $30 at a second hand store (you know who you are). They also accept clothing donations.
Great service. They were early picking up and courteous. Very pleased.
Just a little high priced item but they are used. Still thinking about a chair I seen and unsure if I can fit it into my budget. Mostly likely will be gone...if I go back. There will be other chairs...no rush. Need to keep a roof over our heads, bills and food.
Great selection, great prices....blows Goodwill away.
At first it might seem like they dont have very much variety of items for sale. But once inside theres a treasure trove waiting for anyone and everyone. The prices are good and reasonable. They offer % discounts every day, have a rewards program, and even have a return policy! Thats awesome! Its usually unheard of for returns at a thrift store. Thank you Restore!
Great organization and great store. Staff is very friendly and their prices are good also. They have good selection of all kinds of items to choose from. I will continue to do at the Habitat Restore.
Margaret was so helpful she took apart a futon for us and helped us take it up to the register then she jumped into the register because it was a long line and cleared that line within minutes she was so nice and knowledgeable about what she was doing. Its really hard to find good customer service right now with everything thats going on and it was wonderful to meet Margaret at the restore on 181st and Glisan. Thank you Margaret we will definitely be back to shop there
This particular store had exactly what I wanted at an excellent price and they were sooo helpful. Ill definitely be going back.
I really wanted to leave a nice review, overall its a lovely store with a decent selection and good prices. But the clothes sales are final, and the dressing rooms (obviously, with covid) arent open. Sadly wont be coming back until one of these circumstances change.
Always find cute clothes for my grandson
Excellent opportunity to donate your good working home items and pay it forward. Tax deduction is is also a good thing.
Hit and miss on what they have. Prices are okay somethings are way over priced while others are very reasonable.
Best spot for 2nd hand house supplies etc.
Always had something different everyday love it
Staff is snotty and very uppity for no clear reason. Overpriced junk. Nothing worth stopping to see.
Always always find good deals
Wonderful people working there. Very helpful a nice.
THIS place is 1,000 times BETTER than any other thrift store Ive found over the years!!! Mainly because they seem to actually CARE about their customers... theyre friendly, always available and willing to help 😇 Im 60 and have to roll around on a walker, which seems to be annoying to some employees at other stores, but here, they hurry to assist me and, my being African American, does not seem to bother them either. Im always greeted with a How may I help you maam? and a pleasant demeanor.I find ReStores items to be of equal quality to Goodwills items. Goodwill now charges an arm and a leg for items that are also donated [FREE]!!!RE-STORE offers a great selection of most anything you need, especially furniture. I just purchased a sofa which is in pristine condition, for $45 !!!If you want an honest price for quality products, and help with a smile, PLEASE TRY RE-STORE FIRST!
Love the people! Love the prices! They get great stuff coming in all the time. The staff is very helpful and friendly!
Like to harass and insult costumers. Made me extremely uncomfortable. Trapped me in a location without quite touching me to talk inappropriately to me on one occasion, management did nothing. Same guy still works there. Bring and escort ladies. A second occasion the staff insulted me over the radio. Will never go in again and I live a block away. So much for helping people.Unsafe, cheap products and dollar tree items priced over what they cost would new. The few nice items are priced to Goodwill pricing or better.
Lots of selection at low used prices. Great customer service.
Didnt see anything that I couldnt live without.
Very sweet staff and such good pricing on items!
Rude people.. didnt help me when I could find someone.. then wouldnt take cash even though I had exact change... and had no explanation as why..
Chill shop with used home updating ideas. 🤗👍🤙🤟🖖
Super cheap, all kinds of great stuff for home remodels and decorations. Definitely better for those looking for a bit of a project. They had color tag sales but it was hard to remember what colors were on sale. Lots of cute things to put succulents in and mens tshirts that I loved ironically. Cheap racecar bedframe!
Love the store and I love that they have free stuff outside that didnt make it at the store instead of just throwing it away
This place sure has come along ways!! GREAT PLACE
It was really well laid out and there was tons of things on the shelves too!
Very good store
Found great treasures at prices that I could afford!!
Not sure what this store does for humanity and I say this out of all respect. That was the junkiest store I’ve ever seen and will not go back. I’m seriously trying to figure out how much they are able to succeed when they had the worst second hand items. Example: wood frames that fell apart. Old old Creeking furniture stained old 80 type sofas. The smell was horrible. I hope with all my heart this was not what they are trying to brand and that this store needs a new system and overall new look and strategy so sorry for the horrible review but certainly I don’t have any reason to say anything decent to represent this experience and tell you that you should try this place would be misrepresentation of my standards and personal character
A bit overpriced for used stuff ....
They honestly have some of the coolest stuff they got just about anything you need to remodel your home they got really cheap furniture like cool furniture that you can re purpose. Tools, glassware, toys, clothes And they have colour tags 75 %off 50% off And I have a point system so you get a certain amount of points you get cash off your next purchase totally worth going in taking a look
Horrible customer service. No fitting rooms because of covid which is fine, but if you cant try things on, you ought to take returns when it doesnt fit. Scummy business, scummy policies.
Why even say your open for donations if you can’t take anything.
Fun place to shop and friendly staff. Check it out if you are in the area!!
In spite of the pandemic, the Restore keeps things up on a positive note! They have just about anything you need for the DIY person. I enjoy shopping there because I know that the money is going to help some who really need it. Excellent service tops the whole experience! I refer many to this place. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity.~Robin Oge.
NEVER Going in there again! If you dont have a Card to Pay,,,,,you are forced to have another FOM Wbich is Debit or VISA Card@
I visited this amazing Habitat for Humanity Restore today - 11.25.18. and was delighted to see that they stocked clothing and household goods with large selection of building materials, home furnishing, hardware, appliances etc. The staff was super friendly and had great suggestions for my home improvement project. Super Convenient location - across from the Gresham Police Department on Glisan / NE 181 st Avenue. Highly Recommend to All.Update: .09.29.2019. Donated my Uncle Joes Vintage 1960s Craftsman USA made tool box plus a large assortment of hand tools to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity PDX. Nice people!
This is the only store that sells clothing and I always find hidden gems there for a good price plus any odds and ends I need for a project Im working on
Great prices, selection and staff.
Friendly donation staff and very helpful
Second hand stores are always fun to look at stuff.
Wonderful help, kind people.
Need alot more workers to help out customers!
They were limiting the number of people in. But, the line moved fast. This location has a small clothing section. The employee were helpful.
Friendly staff and a large selection of materials. I found a cool antique radio cabinet, likely from the first half of the 20th century. So they have some cool antiques as well as more modern building materials. Fyi they wont hold anything for you overnight, which is understandable but still good to know before going.
Love this place, excellent prices was able to find to sets of queen sheets for just a few bucks. Yay for me.
The stuff they throw out is crazy. Great dumpster diving!!
All kinds of stuff but no cash card only
They are accepting donations and the drop off was quick and simple.
Awesome place great prices and super cool reward program
Cool place. Got some LED light bulbs for $1 ea brand new. Also brand new paint brushes for under 2 bucks each. First time visiting, from what I hear & see the inventory changes. Definitely worth a stop in to check it out.
The gentleman was polite and cared enough to double cheçk before he answered
Good selection and super friendly and helpful staff!
This place is everything you could want from a thrift store. I always find something great and furnished most of my living room here for $50.
Rude man at Donations area. They should be more grateful for each donations. I dont recommend this place.
Cuz, if you need something that helps you fix your home in any way, and you probably cant afford to go to local hardware store or Walmart or something on line and you not only gotta pay ALOT but you gotta wait for it, and you may only need one of the parts or whatever youre needing youll will probably find it at the restore, and if by chance you dont find what you went into the restore for, trust and believe youll probably find something else you didnt even know you needed, seriously, and at a great price!!! Have fun 🙂
Cool store
Great outlet for contractors like us to donate extra Job materials. Just take a picture, file receipt in quarterly taxes, then boom you got a sweet write off. Plus inside the store is like a neat re used store. In a pinch you can find what you need. I liked the window selections till the prices went to far north... now its cheaper to just buy new. Haha. Anyway, great program and keep donating to make the world go round.
Outrageously low prices on home carpentry, plumbing, and Electrical supplys and hardware; although, checkout has been mind-numbingly slow both times I have shopped there...
They dont take cash. The greeter at the door didnt mention that when I walked in. So I wasted an hour and a half. No, I wont be back. I dont agree with cashless transactions. Few other businesses are doing that. I think its only an excuse for you to save money by not using a till. I wont be back.
Treasure untold, wealth beyond measure, spells and incantations for those with the talent to use them. Nevermind the tweakers rattling around the parking lot.
Good selection, great pricesSlightly disorganized though
I love non profits and Habitat for Humanity is one of those, but I was upset when I went up to the register to buy my items, all I had on me was cash since I was coming straight from work and right now they are only taking debit or credit cards. So I had to put my stuff back since I only had cash on me.
Lots of stuff to find and you can always find a new project or something cool.
Wonderful thrift store that combines Home Depot, Goodwill and the Rebuilding Center all in one. The exception is, of course, the items they sell are very low priced, due to items being used and donated. If you are looking for some nice shoes, clothing or a new piece of furniture, you should look here first. I saw a beautiful Barcalounger there for $25! And 2 really nice couches for (if I remember correctly) $50 each! They had a variety of home remodeling items like windows, doors, flooring and cabinets. Happy to see they take paint cans with useable paint. (I never know what to do with that after Im done painting and dont want to throw away. )Also, they had some new things like lightbulbs.Great place to donate to as well!Super nice staff and its going to an actual charity that builds homes for people in need. Love Restore! ❤
I Love this place. I had No idea of what a pleasant surprise it would be. They have so many things to offer the DIYers ... from flooring and lights, to paint and cabinets. All at a fraction of the cost brand new. I believe Restores are non-profit. I know was assisted by volunteers, who were very pleasant and helpful. But the icing on the cake for me is the fact that they resell clothing (children and adults), housewares, linens all at fabulous prices. They have extra savings also. St. Patricks day all clothing and shoes 1/2 off. They price like items the same, so no guesswork needed... ladies blouses-all the same price. Mens jeans, same price. Some larger ladies clothing cost slightly more than smaller counterpart. Fun, Fun, Fun, on a Budget ☺️
Love the selection and deals!
Always pleasant, never mean, dont harass you while you shop. Great deals.
Love this place! Ive never walked out of this store empty handed! Ever! I always find what Im looking for, for very cheap! Wonderful rewards system!
Well, I have been do the salvation army as well as the Goodwill and these guys blow them outta the water. Quality of product is not even comparable and the prices are and not comparable. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place.
Great place. Ive bought two doors from them, and both were far cheaper than having to make or buy a new door. Used them on my shed, so I dont have to use the roll top door.
When this store opened I was excited, I love to go into them and search for hidden gems. This is a new store and it is absolutely filthy, the smell when you walk in nose plug worthy. A halfway decent couch was $1.99 but a broken kitchen table was $59.99. I believe the couch was a miss label but all the kitchen table and chairs were $50+ and they were All broken, heavily scratched or missing parts.I feel like I cant touch anything...worse then goodwill, and I wont go into those stores. The store in Vancouver Washington is much cleaner, easier to find someone to help and pricing is MUCH better.
My son loves this store. Good prices
Theyre doing a great job keeping things open safe
I love this place. You never know what youre going to find. They have a large assortment of used random tools, paint gallons, Building Supplies, doors, windows, beds, bed frames, cabinets, light fixtures, Outlets, they also sell used clothes. If you are doing any kind of renovating on your home, this is a good place to look for any items you need to try to get them at a discounted rate before you go to a higher-priced store.
There are so many great things about ReStore. I can always find furniture, hardware, tools, lighting, to fill my needs. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I appreciate a great deal on used/recycled items, and I love knowing that my dollars are going to build homes for people who could not otherwise afford a house of their own. I personally know 2 families who have benefited from Habitat for Humanitys home ownership program.
Great place to donate any kind of items
Volunteers here are friendly. Can find lots of useful things for the home & now has a ever expanding clothing & shoe department. Great prices.
Restore is a great place to search for new treasures without breaking the bank. There is a large variety of things from clothing, dishes, hardware, cabinets, doors, windows, furniture and all sorts of stuff. New stuff all the time so visiting often can be fruitful in finding unique things.
Got a great metal work bench to repurpose as a entertainment center for our tv for 15 bucks. Easy day.
Good prices.
