I have nothing but great things to say about Rick and Tyler at Spa Logic Hot tubs. Having suffered from a herniated disk in my lower back for almost 1 year, I decided to look for a hot tub or swim spa for water therapy and rehab purposes. Rick was compassionate and knowledgable not only about the spas but also about my back condition, and how the spas can help me recover faster.Risk has gone through multiple back surgeries himself. I have never met someone that genuinely cared about a strangers recovery. I trusted his recommendation immediately and never felt that he was pushing one product over the other.Tyler is Ricks son, who is respectful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I did a wet test of the swim spa with him. He was so accommodating during the entire process. He took his time to allow us to try different speeds and taught us how to adjust the swim spa.If you suffer from back issues and looking to buy a swim spa to help you recover, PLEASE talk to Rick. Not only will he tell you which model is best for you, but he will also show you how to maximize the spa for your recovery.If you just need a good quality hot tub, I still highly recommend talking to them. I havent met a lot of salesmen in my life that are honest, laid back, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring.
Where to start? For anyone reading this review in the future there was a hot tub shortage due to COVID-19. My wife and I were in the market for a Spa at the beginning of April. We ended up purchasing a nearly 13k dollar Spa. This was in large part due to the “availability” of the hot tub we were interested in. We were told a story on the sales floor that the manager had the foresight to predict the shortage at the start of the pandemic. The owner was upset initially with the manager for purchasing so many hot tubs, but it had worked out nicely for the company. This foresight allowed our salesperson to pull out an inventory sheet and reference which hot tubs they had on site or were two weeks from arriving to Portland. He couldn’t get the exact unit we wanted in two weeks, but he had another unit ready by the end of April.We hadn’t even poured the pad to support the hot tub/hired an electrician to run electrical to the spa. So we noted on our invoice we wouldn’t be able to take delivery until May. We were told this wouldn’t be a problem as the Spa could be held on site free of charge until we were ready for delivery. Perfect! We paid a 50% deposit (I now understand industry standard is 20%).The middle of May rolled around, our pad had been poured and electrical run. I called SpaLogic to schedule delivery and was met with some of the worst customer service I have received on larger ticket items. I was simply put, berated over the phone, ”for being so stupid to assume my hot tub would arrive any earlier than August.” The associate talked down to me for a few minutes and then asked unprompted twice for confirmation of a refund. Everyone has bad days and I’m hoping I caught someone on theirs, but I couldn’t do business with this company after being talked to like I was in elementary school.The only reason this isn’t a one star review is because the team at the Beaverton store was apologetic/asked how they could keep our business. They quickly processed our refund and wrote us a check for our deposit.We ended up purchasing a more expensive/well equipped HotSprings spa from another dealer and we’re much happier with the delivery time/customer experience.In summary someone lied to us about delivery times/available inventory at SpaLogic. Instead of apologizing I was berated like a child and told to take my business elsewhere. I did take my business elsewhere.
We have been shopping for a hot tub for the last couple of months. There is so much to see and learn. We visited several places before we narrowed it down to our two favorite hot tubs. We decided to go with the Coast Spa and Spa Logic Hot Tubs. Not only was Rick very informative and not pushy, but their reviews back it up! We also appreciated the fact that their employees were wearing masks in the store and ensuring that the 6 of social distancing was happening. We just recently took delivery of our new hot tub and we are so glad that we chose Spa Logic Hot Tubs. The hot tub is EVERYTHING that we had hoped for and more! After we had used the spa a couple of times, I had a few questions and I called to talk to Rick and he was so helpful in answering them all. If you are in the market for a new hot tub, I highly recommend Spa Logic Hot Tubs and Rick!
I have known the owner, Daryn Sharp, for at least a dozen years. I was so lucky to find him when we owned a 110v deck-top hot tub we purchased at a home show. It kept tripping the GFI and turning off the tub. I had called several repair places the manufacturer, an Oregon based company and on their advice had replaced the cord several times, but it kept happening. Finally one of the service people I spoke to referred my to Daryn. He immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem and solved it. I have called him ever since whenever we have a problem. In 2015 we bought a tub from Craigslist which (of course) has had several problems. Daryn is not only brilliant, he is one of the kindest, most personable, and honest service people I know. Even through I have never bought a hot tub from one of his stores, he has always treated me as the very best customer he has ever had, and I believe he does the same for every customer. I cant recommend this man highly enough and I am sure he runs his hot tub sales businesses with the same dedication to his customers that he has shown to me all these years.
Rick at Spa Logic by the I-5 bridge was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in our search for a first hot tub. With his helpers in tow, he demonstrated the high quality of the Coast Spas, and we selected a suitable Patio Series model at a reasonable price with accessories geared to our particular needs. We made the purchase after a very pleasant hour with Rick, and the hot tub was delivered and set up expertly by the Spa Logic team less than two days later. This could not have been any easier. Many thanks to Rick and Spa Logic for outstanding service!

We went to several places & had a budget, but ounce we went to the showroom, we upped our budget, simply because the quality of product & Expertise of the staff in Communicating the different levels of Spas & helping us to figure out what Spa we needed, it was Friday @ 5:00 pm when we made the purchase, the spa was on my patio @ 8:15 pm the same night, completely amazed by there customer service & delivery folks.We live an hour & 15 minutes from the store & they delivered that nightWhat a wonderful place to do business, I’m very thankful we found the Spa Logic Store! We went to this place to shop for 2 hot tubs, 1 for me and 1 for my brother. We had an eyes on one of them, and we ask how much for thats. He told us $13,500. We told him we want the exact same one and then we negotiated for the price. He gave us a whole listing and bumped the price up to $14,800. He says the color is upgrade $289, and others stuff that why it came out to be $14,800. We told him we give him $12,000 and we would buy 2($24k) he came back he says the best he can do is $13,600. We told him our final price is $12,000, he came back $12,499 is the best I can do for you. We told him $12k is our final price. He say give him a minute then walk upstairs, he came back, ok we give you the panel $500 upgrade so it is $12,499 without charge. We wasn’t happy so we walk away. I went home and check on their website. The exact same one that we saw in store sell price $12,499. I email for quotes and ask for the color I want and special panel and I ask is there extra charge for all those upgrade, the guy at this place send email back. No everything including in the price $12,499. I send him email back to tell him that they just lose 2 customers, we already willing to spend $12k, $500 more doesn’t mean much to us but we don’t like their dishonest business tactic. I still have paper quoted from store and conversation email if prove needed. Will never go here again
Its the middle of a pandemic and absolutely none of the employees were wearing masks or social distancing. I do not recommend going here. We didnt even go inside.
James tested my spa water and helped me get the correct treatment for my spa, even though I didnt buy it from them. Then he listened and answered all of my questions. Im confident I have the right solution and look forward to enjoying my spa with confidence the water is clean/treated properly. Thanks!
Stopped in to look at swim spas. Wow the most I have ever seen on a show room floor. They have a great selection of hot tubs also. Rick and Daryn were awesome to work with. I would recommend to anyone.
