Emerald was extremely helpful when my wife and I shopped for a mattress at this location. Despite our late evening visit, she patiently answered all our naive questions and very well explained all purchasing options we had. At the end of the visit we pretty much were convinced that shes got the best offer for us, but we thought wed finalize our decision next morning. She didnt press us (loved that!) and, of course, we were back next day wrapping up the deal and getting our free, very comfy, memory foam pillows. On the top of the good price we also were able to schedule a delivery date that was convenient for us - 2 months away from the purchase date! That was very nice of Mattress World! Trevor helped me with finding a mattress topper for my queen sized bed. I have had my current mattress for about 5 years and I love how firm it is, but my partner does not and some times in the recent months, I have been getting bruises. Trevor helped me find a solution to the problems. Trevor was very easy to talk to and didnt make me feel like I was just being sold something. They took the time to help me find the right topper and even moved a topper onto another mattress that was much closer to the mattress I have. I am very satisfied with my experience at the Mattress World Northwest Happy Valley and with the customer service.

In the past several months, I researched Beautyrest Black mattresses at several different outlets in the Portland area. I found the best price, service and delivery at Mattress World, the Happy Valley store. Emerald, the salesperson was superior in meeting my specifications. This was definitely the place to go to get a new bed! I had finally saved up enough money to replace my 15+ year old queen mattress. Trevor was the guy who helped me out and he was awesome! I straight up told him I was looking for a firm mattress and he let me try 3 different kinds with different levels of firmness. With each one he kindly explained how the the springs were and how long the bed would most likely last. With his help I was able to choose the right bed for me and I am now happily having great nights thanks to him!

Nice clean show room with nice selection of beds. Went in during the evening of to look for mattress accessories and possibly new bed. Im glad each bed has some details and prices because the sales like the enthusiasm to come out to assist us on questions we had on the cost models. With that said, well shop with a few of their competitors.

Ive never gone mattress shopping before and have no idea what Im doing. I walked in here just to look around and had an employee (Chelsea) walk up to me. I usually shy away from talking to store employees bc Im so indecisive with what I want but Chelsea was so helpful and patient. They helped me look at my options and, once I decided what fit best for me, they wrote down all the mattress information for me. The customer service here is really great and Im excited to buy my bed from here.

This was our second time buying a bed here. We shopped around at a few different mattress stores in the area and this place had the best deal We are very happy with our new bed! They also have a 15 year warranty which was a huge selling point for us. Also the man who helped us (Robert) was super helpful but not at all pushy. When researching mattresses online I stumbled across Nectar, which is comparable to Purple or Leesa but more affordable. After reading reviews and seeing that the King size was in our budget ($999 for a king with either free pillows or $200 voucher) I was super interested and really wanted to test it out before biting the bullet (even though Nectar has a 365 night trial - Im sure returning a mattress is troublesome).Enter Mattress World, the local mattress store that sells Nectar. My wife and I decided to head over Sunday afternoon and lay on one to make sure the bed lived up to its marketing. After laying on it for just a moment, I knew that this was the one and my wife agreed. Honest marketing is good marketing. At this point a sales person ;didnt catch her name) wandered over and mentioned the Sealy next to the Nectar but I informed her that it was out of our price range and that we would be buying the Nectar online. She mentioned that they might be able to get it delivered sooner than ordering directly from Nectar but I kindly let her know we werent in a rush and were looking to buy it when moving in a few weeks. Then, being insistent, the sales person asked if I would instead like to support a local business to which I answered no, Ill be buying the mattress online (we are upgrading from a queen to king and want to use the $200 voucher from Nectar to get a base/frame - which wasnt available at Mattress World)Unfortunately, this is when things went south. Not liking my answer she replied, saying that it was unfortunate that Id made that decision and I was rude for coming in and proceeded storm off. Taken aback, I asked her if she handled all interactions like this and let her know that she had been rude. She again said we were rude for coming in.Wow, just wow! Im not sure if she was having a bad day or thought this was how you handle losing a sale. Whatever the case, she was super unprofessional and extremely rude. This is hands down the worst experience Ive had at any sort of furniture store or any store at all. I will never go back to Mattress World and would recommend that you dont either. No wonder people buy online and brick and mortar stores are shutting down.Id suggest working on your customer service if you want your store to succeed. Or put a sign on your door that says If you arent planning on purchasing a mattress here, please, dont come in so people know what to expect.

We got a fantastic deal on a super comfy high-end deluxe exotic foam hoagie mattress here. Staff were helpful at pointing us towards good opportunities in our price range. This was our fourth mattress store of the day and the best deal we found.

I havent bought a mattress in years and was concerned that it would be a stressful experience but my worries evaporated when I was approached by Rob! This gentleman was very friendly and really listened to my needs while considering my budget. His extensive knowledge help me to understand the the different options available and he was very patient while I tried out multiple mattresses! Now Im a picky guy so my decision making was lengthy but Rob never made me feel rushed and after some time, it felt like I was talking to an old friend! I bought from this store...A word of warning...The Warranty only works if the mattress fails to support its own weight... If you sink down in to the bottom, does not matter as long as there is not an indent in the mattress while no one is on it. Also the fabric protectors fall apart... All of the plastic lining is crumbling like giant dandruff on mine... I never dried it on any heat. I have not taken it off again because the mess it will make when I do. Remember the Becky is retiring liquidation they are staying open liquidation? They are having another staying in business liquidation.

We recently stopped in here because we needed a new boxspring for our king size mattress. Rob was so helpful! He helped us quickly find the highest quality boxsprings that fit perfectly in our budget. We will definitely be returning here for any of our future mattress needs.

The folks down at the Happy Valley Mattress World really went out of their way to make sure I was happy.I ended up in a ReST performance bed at a phenomenal deal. This bed is not the ordinary air bed, since it has different chambers that react to your movements in the night.These guys helped me with a great price, helped me afterwards with questions about the warranty and offered a 10 year warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty.Long after I bought and accepted the bed, they still took my calls and helped me to be sure I was happy.Great customer support, even after the sale. Thats rare.Paiton and Brendan went the extra mile, you got a customer for life :)

My fiancé and I got a new bed here yesterday and could not be more thrilled. After being aggressively pressured at another mattress store before this, we walked in and were greeted kindly by Robert. He was so great to work with! He helped put us in the right direction and answered any questions we had. He gave us space to lay on the bed when necessary (because we all know that can be a little awkward sometimes), and he was very knowledgeable about all the different beds and products that are out there. I was in crisis mode when I went in the store. Yesterday my cat had an emergency bladder attack and couldnt get out from under the covers fast enough to get to litter box. I needed a top mattress only for my RV, and I needed it right now. Trevor at this store made some adjustments and made a top of the line Englander more affordable for me. I love that guy. Forget bedsmart and Ashley furniture across the street ! Both place dont stock their products. So NO buy and take there. Go see Trevor @ Mattress world. Their warehouse is 2 miles away in Clackamas ❤❤❤❤

I agree with a google user.....we purchased our mattress on 4/27/14 and was told it would be ready for pick up on 5/4/14. We called to see if it was ready and they said another week. We then called again the following week only to be told again it would be the following week. Once again the next week we called and we were told exactly the same thing. We finally put our foot down and said if you dont have the mattress available for pick up tomorrow we will cancel the order. Miraculously they were able to get us the mattress the following day which was 5/21/14 17 days after the day we were promised the mattress. Its funny how it was going to be another week, but once we threatened them they were able to come up with it in 24 hours. What a scam!!!! No customer service whatsoever. I wouldnt recommend using them. Unfortunately, you just cant trust that they will deliver.

Geoff (I think- the English guy) helped us find the perfect mattress. I am a light and therefore picky sleeper. I explained to him our needs and dislikes about past mattresses (they sag so fast and my hubs and I are small people). He recommended an old fashioned one (the coils attached to each other) by Englander and its perfect! Yea, I can feel my husband move, but I dont mind because its so comfy! Weve been sleeping on it for 2 months now and couldnt be happier!
