Hands down the best store out there. No one can go wrong. They always have good deals and great kinds when your not looking for specifics. Always check the clearance rakes!

Went in looking for electronic repellers due to a mouse infestation I was having at my residence. Was immediately greeted by a store worker who guided me to the right area and went over a myriad of solutions that could help me. Fairly knowledgeable and friendly. I chose a product and in the end, it solved my issue. I guess I was lucky that day cause the only reason this person was there to assist me was because they were shutting down that specific area of the store temporarily for some unknown reason so I guess I was in the right place at the wrong time so to say. It would be nice if that was a regular occurrence but Im pretty confident its not.

Wow, I worked for Depot for 9 years before they started furibg all senior workers and turning into walmrt orange. Im a vet an i usually shop at lowes due to lower prices an everyday 10 % off for vets not just twice a year. Today i HAD to cone back due to lowes not having much of inventory of furnace parts, Depot had almost everything i needed. I had to be careful due to careless placement of products on shelf, read the utem not the price stickers, but once i spent some time rearranging the shelf, your welcome, they had 80% of the items i needed. The nozzles were the worst of misplacement! Either trying to hide what they are out of or people cant read numbers and gaskets selection was all but none. Paid 20 % more but had most of what i needed. Now have to go to local plumbing store an pay 40% more to finish the job.

I had very good experience. The guy name Mike H was very nice and helpful. No trouble to find anything. Service is excellent.

Good selection. Sometimes not very organized or clean. Service and help fair. Only several personnel that are worth asking for help or information. Waited in the tools and accessories aisle for over a half hour after a store rep was paged twice. No one ever showed. That was the last time I was there.which was three weeks ago. Will be staying away for awhile.

U0016This was a very nice place that took special care of us and made sure we got what we needed. Their care for detail and quality was well above average, which we truly and honestly apporeciated immensly during our visit. We will most certainly return often for more.

The staff were alm polite and very helpful with my order. The receipt was emailed to me before I even left the driveway. A very nice experience. Highly recommended.

I went with my husband, who wanted to check out the mulch. We also bought rose food. I asked the garden department cashier for the price on a decorative garden ornament and she graciously told me the unmarked price even though I decided I didnt wanted to spend so much. We are in our 70s with a limited income. Going shopping and socializing with people who might make us sick enough to die is often the highlight of the day or week. And I have loved Home Depot for decades.

We went particularly to shop the garden department. On most occasions it can be in fairly good order and well stocked. Not the case on this visit. In their defense it was Monday following beautiful weather all weekend. Pretty picked over and in a serious disarray.

I called the Portsmouth store today April 30,2021 about 5:30 to ask if they had a particular washing machine in stock. The woman asked me do you have a computer? Im wearing too many hats right now. I told her I understood she didnt have time to assist me and we will be shopping elsewhere.

Found everything I needed....and Karina Nicole was very efficient and sweet!! I was able to make my purchase and install my new tv in less than 30 mins!!! Thanks to the home Depot!!!

I am constantly running to the store for this and that. Whenever I ask for assistance theres always courteous and very helpful staff available for me and knowledgeable.

After being thrown around the ringer for 30 minutes, trying to figure out how and who in the store could sell me the tractor (and being told my only option was to buy the floor model, not one of the 6 out back) (advertised - all tractors “free delivery”) I was sent to the Customer Service area to finish my purchase.It took over an hour and a half to complete the transaction and the way in which the initial “customer service” representative and the “store manager” handled the transaction of over $1800 is shameful and I’m beyond disgusted to have given you my money - only having done so because I was set on the product before walking in - never thinking we would have been treated as we were.Having been in customer service for 12+ years - I would be ashamed having a guest leave in the manor in which we did - and Home Depot Portsmouth should be ashamed.Wether someone’s spending $5 or $5,000 your guests should all be treated with respect for they are who keep you in business.Home Depot - Corporate should use this case as a training opportunity for their customer service staff and their management as a whole.Would love communication back.

Home Depot is Home Depot, if youre looking for tools or products that are actually subpar this is the place for you. Im not saying its bad but you get what you pay for

Bought flooring for grandsons room . we looked at 5 or 6 different items . the lady that works in flooring followed us around telling us exactly what it would cost and how much I had to buy .extremely helpful. She even found the perfect match for us. Thanks

Today we had the WORST customer service in the garden department. I know the cashier was young but shouldnt customer service be part of training before hiring? I know just being civil is something she should have learned in life. I will NOT go back to the garden department again.

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT ORDER CARPET FROM THIS STORE. I ordered carpet for our basement in August, it is now end of November and no carpet. When they came to install it at the end of September the measurements were so wrong that they had to have someone come back a week later and remeasure. Then their carpet installer, ACS, didnt come to the next installation because someone was sick. Fine. Then they couldnt come the next installation because the truck broke down. Then today, the warehouse had a fire and they cancelled our installation yet again. I called corporate and they said they couldnt do anything and to work with my local store. Unreal. So much money Ive paid for NO PRODUCT. Buyers beware!

Great store. People are friendly and helpful but the only this is its not as neat as lowes and just prefer the blue marketing bs over orange..no big big deal. I will still go there..

One of the larger Home Depot stores I have been too. The had a lot of different products and most things were in stock. The store was not crowded at all and the isles seemed to be spaced out a bit more then other stores.I was surprised to see the selection of clearance items, a few appliances and some light fixtures but minimal tools on clearance.There was an electric Bosch 30 oven only on sale at 50% off which is a steal but I passed as I dont have an immediate use for it.

The item I was seeking, was exactly where their website said it would be, the same cost as advertised and in stock! I was thrilled!

The store layout is similar to other Home Depot locations and the store is clean and in good shape. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The staff are very uneducated, rude and lazy, instead of helping a customer that clearly needs assistance they walk the other direction or pretend they dont see you. There stock is very limited compared to other stores in area and overall would use as a last resort.

Finally found what I was looking in three stores for yesterday. An adjustable wrench. Jack was very detailed with his instructions for where to locate the item. That place seemed huge but I was told it was small compared to a lot of Home Depots

I’d give a zero if possible. Went here with a friend to pick up an order after he received a call that his order was ready. Went to the service desk to pick up and they informed us it would be 40 minutes for the order to be put together (obviously wasn’t ready) We headed down to the exit area to wait and possibly view our order being put together and after only 2 minutes we were harassed by a cashier asking us what we were doing. We explained and she gave us a condescending “uh huh.” Not really sure why we were being singled out or profiled by staff. Order finally came and pretty much every piece of lumber we ordered was either split or warped beyond the norm, practically unusable. Not my first grievance with this exact store, but someone needs to find a new manager for this place. By far the worst HD in the seacoast, possibly the nation

As Home Depots go this is a good one with plenty of staff.

Terrible customer service. Older lady at self checkout singles me out because I am younger looking asks me for my reciept during the covid pandemic after she watched me ring up all of my items. I asked her why? She said cause I watched you take something. In front of i dont know 5 other customers. She takes my reciept counts everything by item, then reads the reciept as well and does a secondary count. Plenty of other people in line buying items. I spent close to 25k here in the month of April on two separate corporate accounts. Thanks for a terrific time in your store.

Time Capsule - 15 years ago my son and I buried a time capsule that he could dig up upon graduating high school before being sent off to college. I went in seeking a tool we could use as opposed to a shovel so there would not be a 15 to 20 large shovel holes all over the property! Kevin was just a sweetheart of a dude! We walked and talked all over the store looking for something that would be long enough to use while standing upright that would go into the ground at least 6inches and if possible have some sort of handle or grip to hold onto while sticking it In and out of the ground in various spots trying to find the exact location of the buried Time Capsule some 15yrs later! Lol. Hats off to Kevin in Portsmouth - we chose 3-4 different tools and arrived at one we felt would best suit the job. Thanks for taking the time Kevin 🍷😎

Jill is very rude. I saw that the light was on above the register so I walked up to checkout. Jill was standing there with another associate. Jill looked at me and said what with a nasty tone. I replied did you just say what she said yup. I responded is this register open she responded yup then turned around and walked away. I dont know what kind of customer service this store finds acceptable but I will absolutely not be returning to this location. The lady who did take my money was nice

I was disappointed with curbside pickup last year, but decided to try it again. Went greatThey collected my items and brought it out to my vehicle quickly.

They have everything you need for all your DIY projects, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always take the time to say hello to the dog and give her a treat too! This location can be tricky to get to your first time and could use better signage, but for the most part not too bad to navigate.

We needed to buy a lot of stuff to clean up ahead of our move and this Home Depot has a lot of heavy duty cleaning supplies. We also got a new mop and broom to take to our new place. The staff is helpful and I dont feel like I have to run all over the place just to find someone.

The store was fine, but why would they let dogs run freely through the store with out at least a leash? The employees played with the dog that was not being monitored by its owner. In a store with possibly toxic things that just seemed like poor management on both the store and the dog owners part.

Parking is great and it had what I needed.

Associate, Betty Ann, at self checkout was totally rude! Would not allow my husband to use his military ID for a discount because it didnt say service connect (he has an older ID, that is still valid). One thing for her to explain policy a totally different thing to treat a 12 year Veteran with total disrespect! I will NOT shop here again!

Overall its a Home Depot.....yes, you can hit dud salespeople, but most try to help. I think the turnover is very high, and of course if they paid a little more they might be able to keep people longer? Just a guess. No offense, but this is very often the mindset at these big Corp. Good selection, prices are competitive, but can be a tad higher than the comp. Will price match most of the time. They are close for me, so thats a bonus. Overall, its decent, but I wish they would pay......it would help their customer service/turnover....therefore the knowledge and answers would be more accurate. Very often I go in knowing more than the reps.....probably pretty common. If you get an answer you dont like, it is normally coming from on high......

Another Home Depot. Yes, Ive been to a few. This is the store location that I frequent the most. Customer Service department has always been great when Ive needed them.Selection of tools and accessories is great.

Had terrible experience trying to get extra keys made. I asked for help and was told someone will be in a second. 15 min go by. I as cashier but she ignores my question. I ask another guy who sends me to another guy. Everyone looking the other way in this store

A very clean and well stocked Home Depot store.

The customer service was excellent. They got a ladder to get what I needed and were very helpful I pointing me in the right direction for another item I needed!

It isnt guaranteed to have what you need, so Id call or look it up first. Other that that, its organised, friendly, and absolutely giant! Even the car park has enough room to maneuver giant goodies into the car, with pick-up and assistance provided.

Home Depot is a great place to go because it is open 7 days a week 6 to 10 and has a wide variety of products. Home Depot stinks because they change their products on a regular basis so you cant be sure youre going to be able to get a duplicate of what you got a year later and their website is so slow its like having a dial-up connection. Also, they seem to have the bad decision to block out all other access to the internet while youre in the store.

They dont call you when they say they will weighted from material to come inthey came in and they resold it to someone else and I lost the job I was performing for a customer not happy with them.

First off let me say I used to love shopping here for various home and boat projects. But lately its been frustrating. The two most recent experiences: 1) I brought something back I had purchased less than a week before and customer service told me it needed to go back to tool rental for inspection (this is the first time Ive ever been reffered to tool rental for a tool return) then after waiting in line again at tool rental I explain why Im there and they look at me like Im crazy, send me back to customer service and advise me to tell them that tools dont need to be inspected for return. So I wait in line again at customer service (even though theres 6 associates standing around and 1 is helping a customer.) I finally get back to the associate that referred me to tool rental and inform her of what tool rental told me, she rolls her eyes, doesnt say anything to me, and asks another associate to help me.2: A day later I unfortunately have to go back. Ask for help finding something that I see is in stock on the Home depot app, and the associate cant help me because he doesnt work in the hardware department, that hes just filling in and that hell find someone after hes done restocking. I wait... then he says, yeah youll have to find someone else. Walk around the store, and they can only direct me back to the guy who cant help me. Isnt this a hardware store?Its unfortunately not the case of summer help and being new, these are the same people I see there when shopping year round. Hopefully they get it together, or Ill just keep on driving to Lowes in Greenland.

Just a regular Home Depot. With stocked aisles. Very clean store and nice employees. Ive gone to many Home Depots all over but I like this one more.
