Interesting place to look around

Today, I was in this store with my family. All of the sudden, my mom came running in to alert us there was some police activity and danger out on the streets and to no surprise, the girl at the desk running the store immediately came over as calm, cool and collected as she possibly could have been, locked down the store and stood there while she asked if my entire family was in and made sure we were safe. She and the other woman working the store were only going to open it for my father who my mom described to her and she made sure my 1 year old was the number one priority and safe with me in the back. Once we got the all clear, she proceeded to make sure the rest of our experience was calm and safe and told us she thanked us for being with her and being relaxed. This was a prime example of some exceptional training and smart quick thinking. Keep doing what you’re doing, because you made me feel so safe. Thank you a million times.

I really dig the vibe inside the new Summer Sessions location in downtown Portsmouth. Not only is the store clean and organized, but the staff is friendly and very helpful. I had been looking for a present for my son and the young blonde gentleman working that day was more than helpful. I ended up walking away with some great new SS tees and hat that I was assured would please my child. The prices were reasonable and the service was exceptional.I also liked how the store supports the arts community by promoting local artists and musicians. The music inside the store also gave off a great energy. Its a fun atmosphere

We all know that #skateboardingisnotacrime, James B., but Summer Sessions Portsmouth (SSP) is not a skate shop - its a shop that’s focused on casual wear and surf brands including one of my fav brands ever, Volcom. I realize that there arent many places to get threads around Portsmouth, except Macys and the GAP, etc at the mall in Newington. I neither want to look business casual or preppy 24/7, so I shop regularly at SSP, bc they have great people working there & a really good selection of clothing, shades, accessories and flip flops, etc that is a good alternative to the aforementioned chain stores. Check out SSP and shop local. 🤙🦞

Everyone there was very nice and helpful, willing to give you a deal. Great products and apparel. Spent an hour just looking at everything!
