Great local hardware store with excellent customer service! I have found Strosniders dependable especially for the simple things that you cant get from the big box stores. But thats not to say they cant handle the bigger issues, too.

Most things that you need, they have. Employees were very helpful, courteous, and professional.

They are very helpful and well informed about the function of various items. Competitive pricing. The last time I was there I tried to return something that I had apparently purchased elsewhere. The cashier seemed genuinely sorry that he couldn’t oblige me. Do wish more things were labeled made in America.

Bigger than it looks on the outside and everyone is very helpful. They only have a small selection of stuff but a nice mom and pop shop to support.

The manager Pete is always making fun of foreign people’s accents. When asking a simple question He always has something smart to say. I feel under-valued and disrespected as a customer. Very racist, don’t shop here unless you are white or like being made fun of.

The store staff are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. They answer questions enthusiastically and make extra effort to make sure you get what you need. The store is not large but you can find what you want. The items that they carry are of high quality.

Before driving to the store, I called and spoke with a gentleman that was very courteous and knowledgeable, he understood what I was trying to describe and got me the information I was seeking. Upon going to the store the greeter at the door was equally as courteous, and pointed jack, I believe the gentlemans name was our to me. the time I was at the store was 4:11 pm in short I had a great experience.

Good store. You can find almost everything you need. Plenty of parking space is available. Cashier is also a very good guy.

Ive been trying to find a particular product in stock and none of the other stores had it - not Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, Target, Sears.. Nobody had it ready for pickup the same day. I called and this store had the items in stock! A very nice gentleman that I spoke to on the phone reserved the items for my pickup. I arrived and the items were ready for my pickup and another very nice gentleman even loaded the boxes into my car. Im not a person who goes to the hardware store a lot but no wonder this is my Dads favorite store!!!!

Great staff, a fair selection of goods. They did not have the item I wanted. But located it at the Bethesda location. They called over there and asked that it be held.

You can count on finding what you want at Strosniders. And if they dont have it, they usually recommend another source that may have it. The staff know their stock and are very helpful. Going to the big box store like Home Depot cant begin to compare where most staff arent familiar with the merchandise or how it is used. As my neighbors say, it is easier to pay a few cents more at Strosniders and come away with what is needed and without a hassle. Lifes too short.

Love this place, people are friendly, and super helpful. In case people are not aware they distribute Benjamin Moore paints and have very helpful people in the paint department.

As the old white guys die off, it becomes a less valuable staff of home project consultants. Still I love the old time biz model.
