The new Cabin John Liquor store is now named Oak Barrel & Vine. Its located on the front side of Cabin John, directly next to the Starbucks & Giant. This store is the future look of the ABS MoCo stores. Theres a built in tasting room, wine library & plenty of beer, wine & spirits to choose from. This place completely outshines the old location that was on the back side of the plaza. All of the staff is new to this location as well, ABS likes to shake things up & they definitely did so with this new location.

Store is currently empty. Doesnt look like it will reopen from the signs outside

Closed over 10 minutes early. I understand wanting to get home after work but this was a little ridiculous.

We usually go to the Rockville liquor stores but wanted to try out another one. The Cabin John clerksman denied my 30 year old husbands Maryland ID because it was the old version and still had years until expiration. He denied our $200 purchase of rare gin and other items. I’m writing this bc it’s unacceptable to subjectively decide to not accept a completely valid Maryland ID when it has not yet expired, just b/c it doesn’t “look great”.

This store was a gem about 3-4 years ago.... Now it is quite possibly the worst ABS store in the county. I honestly do not understand the attitude at this place- constant disrespect to customers & absolute lack of motivation to provide an even halfway decent customer service experience ever! God forbid you have to deal with Nestor Reyes.Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other amazing ABS store in the county. Montrose Crossing, Muddy Branch & Potomac Village all offer a clean store, friendly employees & a much better selection of wine, beer & spirits.Have a great day and stay safe out there!

Excellent experience! 1st class service and selection. I shop for a number of Sr. Citizens and like the sales and selection!

Staff is very nice and helpful, but the layout of the store is awful.

Awful service to say the least. I went into the store the other day and asked one of the associates if they had a specific kind of drink in stock. He said they didnt have it and didnt even bother checking inventory. I eventually found it on my own after combing through the store and informed him that they did in fact have it. He then had the audacity to lie to my face and say that I had called it something else. On my way out the cashier also proceeded to act extremely passive aggressive to me for whatever reason. Clearly the staff her is unprofessional and I will not be shopping here again.Look boys, this isnt rocket science. If youre getting paid to do a job then you might as well do it right. Take pride in your work. Even if its something as minuscule as working at a liquor store.

They should up their rum game but hey, I dont own a liquor store so I cant say I would do much better then these guys.

Not sure how to reply to my previous reviews comment, but the day was last Saturday 2/6 and the time was approx 3:30PM, maybe a few minutes earlier. The cashier that denied us was on the left as you enter the store, by the Gin section. The gentleman that was working the entrance said to the clerk “I would accept that ID” and then apologized to us as we were leaving.

Best prices Ive seen anywhere in the area. The only place I shop for liquor. Limited beer selection but the prices on liquor are second to none.

I wish the beer selection was better and cold. Good sales where you can stock up. Regular price are less competitive than other stores in the area.

They have a very large selection. However it is all packed into a very small store.

It is rare and happenstance when they have Very Rare Old Bartlowe Whisky, but when they do it is 1.75 ltr and $19 and change. Some of the finest brown water to ever cross your lips. Stand up on your own hind legs like a man. Judge Roy Bean
