Really great shop with some cool finds. The owner has a great knowledge set on a lot a different areas on antiques including jewelry, coins, war memorabilia and paintings. Really eccentric and friendly man who is happy to talk to customers. Also willing to trade or buy for antiques.

Bob restored my husbands wedding band to its original gleam, not to mention it is round-shaped once again! The ring had tumbled in-between the two clothes washer drums leaving its edges shredded, and squished into a mangled oval. Bob beautifully straightened, smoothed and polished my beloveds ring, where after 40 years of marriage it looks like the day we were married ❤

I recently received a beautiful engagement ring while vacationing in Hawaii. The ring needed to be resized when I returned home to Canton. I thought I was going to have to go to a chain jewelry store to have my ring made smaller. I learned of Argents in Potsdam and decided to check it out. Bob was very friendly and he made me feel secure about leaving my ring there. I dropped the ring off on a wed and he promised it by Sat. We needed our wedding set resized and cleaned up. They did an awesome job for us.My wife is very happy with how they both fit now and how they look brand new. We will return to have them cleaned and resized when needed again. Very please with the how everything went from start to finish. We will refer everyone we know to go here if asked.
