I would highly recommend this store!! We looked everywhere to find the matching propane dryer to our whirlpool washer, only to be told that it was no longer made. After calling every other appliance store in the area we luckily called Sears in Potsdam and were assured we could get not only a propane whirlpool dryer but an exact color match to our existing washer. We placed the order and were told it should be here Tuesday, and low and behold it was!!!! Rest assured we learned our lesson, we will call them first next time!!! Thank you!!!

Its a small business owner, I was trying to buy a freezer from them but it was not available. Nice people to do business with. I bought a Kenmore Washer several years ago and it is still working very well, its he High Efficiency that uses Hot or Cold tap water. We love that we can just use cold water because we use Solar Electric and off the Grid.

Great customer service, in 2020 we purchased a freezer and six months later a dryer.Both transactions included installation and removal of old appliances. Went smooth as silk.Highly Recomend this store.

Staff wasnt knowledgeable. Also didnt have items in stock along with couldnt make purchase due to systems being updated (shouldnt that be done before or after business hours). They werent even willing to entertain the thought of a discount for multiple appliance purchase. Said I would go over to Lowes and sales clerk just says ok with no attempt to try to make a sale. So much for Hometown anything at this location. ...made my purchases at Lowes and saved $190 .

HelloI have always purchased appliances at Sears in Potsdam and have obtained the service agreements. I am sad to say that Sears appliances are not what they used to be. The store manager Millie and Nathan have been very courteous to me over the years and I am thankful for that.Recently I have had 3 different servicemen work on my ultra dishwasher.My warranty expires on 12/11/15. The cyle that washes pots and pans is not up to potential.I have called and called.. Today I called to verify if the man was coming since I will not be here.The owner of the store Phil I believe was very rude to me.. I am a paying customer. I have spent over 5,000.$ dollars there.. So with this Im hoping that my dishwasher is fixed..I am hoping that the people who are buying stuff from Sears will be appreciated. There are many competitors out there. I dont know what this lady is saying, have been doing business with sears in Potsdam for 19 years. the store owner has always went out of his way to help us out. maybe if this lady treated them with respect, she would get the same. get staff, service!!

Closed the one in Malone, NY, however, the Potsdam, NY is still open. Bought a garbage disposal there and they matched the online Sears sale price.
