The shop was impeccably clean. The appointment time we had was reserved solely for us and we felt very comfortable and not rushed. The woman who took all of our information and had us fill out paperwork was extremely helpful and patient. Pauly made my 14-year-old daughter feel very comfortable as she got her septum pierced. He followed up with detailed instructions on how to best care for the piercing, what to expect, and next steps. This was very helpful. I would highly recommend this local establishment for anyone looking for piercings!

I’ve had 3+ piercings done at tat2paulys shop, at least one of which at his old location! Pauly keeps his shop impeccably clean and talks you through every step of his process and is real with you when it comes to what to expect and how something will suit your anatomy. He and Nadine are both very knowledgeable and very well-versed in this line of work. I went here countless times during my undergrad years with friends and his prices are reasonable as well. This place will always hold a special place in my memories!

Tat2Pauly was very clean, professional and talked me through the entire procedure. I got my industrial done with him and it’s the quickest I’ve ever had a cartilage piercing heal. They have a great selection of jewelry and the shop was easy to find. Overall I would definitely recommend to anyone who’s thinking about going there

Fantastic place! Pauly as very friendly and put me at ease when I went in for a piercing. He was quick and very knowledgeable. I admire his professionalism. The lady who was at the front desk was also very welcoming. They had a fantastic selection of jewelry to pick from. I definitely recommend going here!

He is super nice and it doesn’t take very long. The price isn’t bad either. My one issue was the piercing itself. I got an industrial bar and after 3.5 months the bottom hole ripped. The hole wasn’t placed properly and I had to take the bar out and try to get the hole to heal. Luckily it’s been healing well, but I basically had the piercing for a few months and now if I want it again I have to get it repierced. I’m not happy about that at all.

Warning! I went to this piercing shop two months ago to get a septum piercing. When I first got the piercing I noticed that the jewelry was crooked because the holes on both sides of my nose did not align. I emailed Pauly the piercer, and he told me that this was normal due to the body gripping on the jewelry during the first two weeks. Two months later, it was still crooked so I went to a professional piercing shop in nyc. The piercer there tells me that it was not pierced in the right location; the piercing was not even on the septum. It was 1/4 of an inch below, which is a lot considering the nose is small. He said that a professional piercer would never made a mistake like this. I emailed Pauly about this, asking for a refund for the time and money wasted because I had to take out this piercing. He never replied even though I am sure he saw the email. I find it hard to believe that these positive reviews on here are true. This is a warning for people that is considering getting their piercing down here. I recommend a piercing at a more well known, more reputable and professional place. I will note that Pauly was friendly when I was there but that does not excuse this terrible work.

My friend went here to get her cartilage pierced and she was in and out in about 2 minutes. He didnt mark her ears before starting and pierced at a weird angle (way above where she wanted it). He had a super careless demeanor and was throwing things around for the entire 2-minute period.

My daughter and I decided to get our rooks pierced. So we went to Tat2pauly, my daughter was very nervous (she’s 2 months from her 15ths birthday and loves to be dramatic).Right from the time we got there I was very impressed with how nice and helpful the staff was. The girl in the front was super helpful explaining everything, and didn’t get annoyed with us when we asked a million questions. Anyway I decided to get my rook, conch, and daith pierced hey why not go all in right. My daughter just her rook. But I have to say Pauly was awesome, very professional he explained everything before he did it. That just put us at ease. Pauly is just very personable guy, he just seems to be an overall nice guy. The conversation just flowed and that took our minds off what was happening. The piercing were super quick and very professional. We are very happy with the piercing, we will definitely go back. I strongly recommend Tat2Paulys. It was a pleasant experience from the time we got there to the time we left, now it’s the healing process that’s going to suck 😬

I got a conch piercing here, at the shop I was told it would heal in 8-10 weeks, afterwards I Googled it and it actually takes 6-12 months to heal. My roommate had two piercings done here, she was given incorrect instructions for cleaning and both became infected, one of which she had to take out and let it close.
