If youre local and dont want to drive all the way to Shangys in Emmaus, Franks has the best beer selection in the area. They have an excellent single bottle offering, cold beer section, and a tasting bar, on top of their huge array of cases. Every employee Ive spoken to has been knowledgeable - if you want a specific beer, they always know where it is, and if they dont have it they can suggest similar styles. All the standards plus all tons of craft beers, at reasonable prices.

Okay so I just went in to purchase truly spiked seltzer water. Its a year past the best if used by date.... I did contact them, and was offered a full refund.

Newly renovated. They added taps where you can get growlers or crowlers of craft beers. Per new PA laws you can also get 6 packs and individual bottles/mix and match. The selection of individual beers is vast and the prices are reasonable. The refrigerated section is lacking unless theres something I missed. If youre looking for your favorite craft beer at a competitive price I would suggest checking out Frank a Smith.

Theyre always quick here and the selection of beers is pretty good. Ive never gotten mix-a-6es here, so I cant speak to them, but the 12-packs and cases tend have a pretty large variety. Most of the beers of all the major local brewers (Troegs, Victory, etc.)

Frank A. Smith is a distributor aand then some. The owner clearly has a vision of his store being much more than a reseller of beverages. You can get so many different varieties of beer & hard cider, its almost mind-boggling. He has even added a special craft-brew room with a bottling station. Plus, the staff here is so friendly and helpful, you arent likely to find a better distributor anywhere else.

Stopped by and asked for help with picking some new Stouts. I immediately had someone take some time to walk around the store with me to show me a few favorites and narrow my choices. You don’t get that kind of service anywhere today! I walked out extremely satisfied. Excellent music and Service!!!

Good selection of beer but for Ch%#@ts sake put a price chart of something on the shelves. No one likes to get surprised when you take your purchases to the counter and get (un)sticker shock. The reaction is never wow thats cheap.

Cant say anything negative; very helpful and accommodating. Willing to special order and have price matched my local distributer price for sale items. Prices are fair and selection is awesome. They will even hold hard to get items for pick up when requested... There is the occasional misguided suggestion for to try a new beer but taste is obviously subjective (heavy malt vs high hops etc). Love the store and worth the special trips to it!

I dont live in the area anymore, so when I get a chance to stop by and buy local I do. I have bought crowlers in the past and havent had any problems, but the last four that I have bought have leaked around the lid from the time I left the store until I have opened them. Franks has a great beer selection and the crowler is a great product, but until they can fix this problem Ill have to find somewhere else to buy these.
