In reading other reviews, there seems to be a pretty common theme of a poor bedside manner and not treating customers right.We got several quotes, McNulty came in a few hundred higher than Lowes, but we wanted to give our business to a smaller company because you expect better workmanship and service. We got neither of either. The install was clearly subbed out when a truck with another business name was parked in front of the house. The installer told my wife it would be him and two helpers.....one no showed and the other was over an hour behind the start time. In their defense, the floor was laid nicely and the pattern is consistent through the two rooms of a kitchen we had done. Thats all I can say kindly about my experience. They cut subfloor on my sidewalk....my porch and walk were left coated in dust. They cut more in my kitchen.....both rooms were left covered in dust. There was a dustpan full of debris left at the top of my basement stairs behind a door. There was an opened garbage bag filled with job materials left on my back porch. They removed the base molding in the smaller of the two rooms and never put them back on. Those were the issues with the install. On top of that, they were never supplied with the 1/4 molding that is to be put on to join the floor to the base molding and to keep the floor from peeling up. When I contacted the store to ask them to make things right, I was told I would have to buy the 1/4 molding and pay to have it put on.....and was also offer some cleaner to take care of the dust left by the installers.Im sorry, but this is a flooring business......when youre doing a job, you provide the materials to complete the job. Without this 1/4 molding, the floor will being to peel up. This is like ordering a $40 steak at a restaurant, having it brought to your table, and the waiter tells you itll be an extra $15 for a knife and fork.....except this was a $2,000+ flooring job.Every company is great when the job goes according to plan, how they react to sub par work is what sets them apart. Mistakes happen and I am very understanding, provided a company stands behind their product and their work. McNulty flooring did neither less than a day after the install and cashing my checks. Had they done right by me and corrected this issue, this would have been a five star review. Just know that once they have your money, you are on your own!In closing, I put the base molding back on in the smaller room, I went to Lowes, got the 1/4 molding, and Im paying someone else to finish the job McNultys wouldnt.

Had a good experience in 2013 when we had carpeting installed in our home. Went back for flooring for a small work space and as soon as we walked in, we were met with an incredibly rude man who wouldn’t answer any questions without a snarky attitude. Since expressing my dissatisfaction with friends, many people have reached out to me personally who had the same experience. I love to support local businesses when possible, but not when they treat their customers so rudely!

Cant say enough good things about McNultys. From start to finish the project was a great experience. The installers are second to none, they did an impeccable job for all three of our areas that needed flooring. And it was a challenge because the house is older, but they handled everything perfectly. Showed up on time, were nice to work with, completely explained options for trim etc. And in the showroom when we started out we were overwhelmed with choices, but Nancy got us educated about what we needed, we got great information straight up, no BS or sales talk and the product was exactly right. Very highly recommended.

They are very helpful and patient. They put my order right in my vehicle without me having to ask. They even ordered stuff they do not have in stock. I definitely recommend this business!

2nd time ordering from them. Paid a large sum for carpet, padding, and install. I ended up having last minute things come up and in the room where the job is being done there is paper taped to the floor with painters tape to protect the floor when it was being painted. I asked if the installers could take it out because I did not have a chance to get it out myself.. the woman I spoke with on the phone was rude from the start even when I asked about a time frame for installation- she certainly doesnt have the sales skills of the nice gentleman i worked with in the past. She cut me off even at the start of my question and said the installers can remove carpet but would not remove flimsy paper and if it was that easy to remove I should have no issues doing it myself before they arrive - I tried to explain i had a small child and would have to have her in the room with me and wouldnt want her to put anything in her mouth or get into anything and the woman so rudely replied shes a mother of 3 and brushed my concerns off as if they were nothing. I am also going to add im currently 8 months pregnant.Horrible experience. So here I sit 2 hours before the window of when they may come (they only opened at 9 so i called as soon as I could).. I really would like my money back. They lost a customer over this. I will not be having any services from them in the future.

Very helpful in finding what I needed for a project.

Scheduled to arrive to lay vinyl in 2 bathrooms between 8:00 - 10:00, arrived at 2:00. Plumber arrived at 7:00 in the morning and removed everything from the bathrooms but with the job delayed so late in the day I had to reschedule the plumber to return on another day leaving me with no bathrooms. Going elsewhere for carpet for the rest of the house.
