Its upsetting when you drive 20 mins to the store but the worker decides to close the doors, lock up and go home! We saw at least one leaving more than a half hour early.
Don’t expect to EVER get a call when your sample contacts come in and when you do your exam conveniently has expired. The Dr has zero personality and I’m pretty sure he did all of our exams (me & 2 children) in less than 30 minutes. This area truly needs another option for eye care!! All the Drs are either not taking new patients or are soon retiring.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!!
I called today for contacts, I’ve been going to the Pottsville Eyeland for about 2 years. I have no contact lenses left. They tell me I have to come in for an eye exam before they can call in my prescription. So now I have to wait 2 days to be seen by the eye doctor and then another 7-10 days till the lenses come in! This place is unprofessional and they really don’t care about the patient. I think I should have been contacted months ago saying I needed another exam. I suggest going somewhere else.
I could not believe how rude, distant, and cold a woman named Ann Marie was to us. Why is she the one to greet customers? The owner really needs to take notice of this. Sad.She ignored us with an eye roll. when we asked her to please call our insurance regarding a Prior approval form because it wasnt her job. Our insurance told us they needed them to call, not us. I told her this but her demeanor was cold. Told me we needed to get the form to her. No compassion at all. My husband drives for a living and two months short of when the insurance would pay for a vision test, he found he could no longer see. All she had to do was care about our situation, fill the necessary form, and get him an appointment. Its sad how she can disassociate herself from just doing her job and that to help people has become a hassle to her. Sad. Maybe she needs to re evaluate and care.
I went there for my first appointment and it was not bad I went back for a follow-up and I sat in the waiting room for over a hour. After going up to the front desk I received a nice snappy response that the doctor has my paperwork and he will see me when he can ( meanwhile I was watching people coming in after me going right in and not waiting or only waiting a few minutes ). I had already paid for a 6 month supply of contacts and I demanded my money back I will go somewhere else oh they cant do that I was told the manager is not there so after I left I ended up calling up Eyelands corporate headquarters and ended up receiving my money back and a apology from the corporate store.
Warm, dedicated, professional staff. Very honest and helpful in finding just the right frame for me. Id certainly recommend this business to friends and family.PS. Have now received my glasses and am amazed. Wore them all day, absolutely perfect vision. Never been so pleased in the past. Thanks to entire team!!
Friendly staff but pretty much useless. The eye exam was the fastest most useless corner cutting exam Ive had in my life. Still cant see as well as when I went to private practice. What a joke this exam and fitting was. You may as well just go to flea market and get a pair of readers!!!! Save your money!!!
I walked in to pick up contacts that were paid for two weeks prior. I received a call to pick them up anytime. I waited 10 minutes before being asked it I could be helped when I came through the door and stood at the counter. The phone rang as I was waiting the receptionist even answered the phone and handle the call before helping me. Kept saying I will be right with you. Poor customer service.
The girls helping you with ordering your glasses are great. Just dont expect a call telling you your glasses are in. I called them a couple times. Now one set is in their receptionist keeps telling me when their in theyll call. The same receptionist also told me my son was clear for his next exam and he wasnt yet. So I had to pay out of pocket for the exam. They did discount it but still. I go there because my eye insurance is great and the ladies doing the glasses are great. The rest leaves room for improvement.
Awful company, mistakes with $300+ glasses, didnt fix, then lied about.Do NOT go there, anywhere else is better.Zenni.com is great
Everyone with whom I came in contact was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The technician who helped me with my contacts and glasses figured the best way to use my insurance to lessen my out of picket expense!
Worst EVER, apparently the doctors that work here have NO clue what they are doing I returned here 3 time to have them fix there prescription for my glasses that Cost over $900.00 and nothing but an epic failure by Eyeland. NEVER EVER AGAIN.
I was having a lousy day until I had my eyes checked here. My sight actually got better - whoo hoo! Carol was sweet, told me now that I have my new insurance in computer I get glasses one half off for I think she said a year.
The people at Eyeland were all very helpful and polite! Would definitely recommend!
