Always good prices, sales are also good. The staff are always courteous and knowledgeable. All around good place to shop, especially if you have the free membership for extra discounts.

I have always been impressed with there service and produce always fresh. Plus there very friendly employees and if at all looking for a product they are eager to help. I must say a personal favorite. So when in the area looking for the best prices and service u are getting the best in all sides with ur local giant foodstores.

Was checking out the meat selections, fairly unimpressive. Perhaps because of the covid thing yet, but not what it once was and the prices are very high compared to my normal store. Also, that stupid robot followed me all over, kinda freaks me out a bit and my special needs sister is scared to death of it... do people a favor and get rid of it. Wont be shopping there again.

They dont have there regular foods. Havent been able to get there Natures Promise burgers for 2 months.

Ive been coming to the store for years never had a problem always a smiling face. But today the woman behind the register had a freaking attitude. First time Ive ever seen this woman, needless to say Ill avoid that register from now on.

Giant is my favorite grocery store in this area. They have a great selection. Theyre organic food selection is excellent. This store is nice and clean. The Isles are spacious. The people are nice and kind.

Giant has the best fruit selection around. And you cant beat the deals.

An alright grocery store & I only shop here occasionally because I am so put off by how great giant is in some areas like: cleanliness all around, great selection of everything,they have gas pumps, 1 aisle just for 21+ for alcohol, theyre never crowded or have backed up checkout like Walmart and the employees r helpful and friendly but it really excellces in the SALES!!!!! The weekly sales, 10 for $10, online coupons, plus the giant card, you can get some amazing deals and i use other coupon apps alongside them to get extra deals! I fail the Giant for there truly disgusting prices and I dont shop here often for that reason alone....I couldnt afford to! U can get a medium cut fruit bowl anywhere for like $12 and here its $30, the boars head lunchmeat $12 per lbs, the meat dept is almost double the] rice of anywhere else in the area, and the bakery is not the best but they charge like they are! Such a shame for everything it does have to offer

Never have I ever had the worst experience with self checkout 10, items that legit took almost 30mins, steep prices on soft drinks. Never again!!!

Its a clean store everyone respects the guidlines due to covid and its always easy in and out with excellent service.

If youre still doing in store grocery shopping thru this mess hit up this Giant at 6 am if you want good service, stocked shelves and few shoppers. Always friendly, efficient, experienced workers.

Just made the 15 mile trip home, found 2 seperate items we purchased are moldy or outdated. I shouldve checked while I was there. Next time Ill make the 60 mile trip to Wegmans.

No cakes left for holiday when I was told there would be for my sisters 50th birthday, and the people working the deli always seem preoccupied with other things besides the customers waiting for service.

Kind of packed all the time, shelves are decently stocked, but I often find myself throwing produce away after purchasing it. Mold in blueberries in the center so its not noticeable when you buy them. They wont take it back for exchange.

I dont usually shop there as the layout is completely different than my usual store, but its really clean and the staff is very friendly and very helpful. Really good selection in the produce but unsure why avocados are located in 2 different locations. The only that creeps me out is the robot that scans stuff

My wife and I shopped at this store today. I will give credit store was cleaned and stocked. But I feel your customer service is lacking. Ordered from deli department and 1 item was wrong. I know I spoke clearly on what I wanted and the women helping me gave me still wrong item. Did not notice until I was at checkout and realized it. Im just thankful I caught it there,and person adjusted price for me and took item away. Please remind your employees to listen carefully to your customers.

This is, needless to say, a bit late. One of my sons went Xmas shopping for Mom at Giant in Cressona (Pottsville). He knows I like chocolate and bought, among other things a package of Ghirardelli chocolate squares. First my favorite the dark chocolate then…uh oh. The rest looked like they were moldy!I can’t find the date on the bag now but they were only about a month out of date when bought. Probably were also not stored properly. Suggest you check dates before you buy. Rotate the stock Giant and pull the out of date.

Store is brightly lit and clean. Cashier was friendly and efficient. Thanks to all the folks that work there.

I have had good experiences with most of the employees that I have interacted with. There was that one time when a cashier was obviously unhappy with being there. I avoid her line.

I am normally very pleased with this store. However, today I came home with my coupons which was the reason I bought some of those items. I wish the check-out gal would have asked if I had any coupons, like some other employees do. I had to bag my own groceries because I brought my own bags. I dont have a problem with that, but in my rush to keep up with my purchases piling up, I didnt even think about my coupons.

Edit - Just wanted everyone to know the link the manager posted is useless. And I have submitted complaint through the app, but as of today, I havent received response. Not surprised at the least.. Nothing has changed with the Giant Direct. In fact, we gave them 3 more weeks and it seemed to get worse. We didnt receive half our order again, but somehow came home with extras we didnt order? Not sure whats going on at this store, but we decided to take our business elsewhere.We have been doing Giant direct for before Covid. And we loved and told everyone about it during quarantine to not only protect themselves, but also the workers in the store. Over the past few weeks, however, we have been noticing more and more not being in stock. And we are fully okay with getting substitutions, and havent rejected a single one yet. Ive been trusting the workers that they were trying to get subs for us, but tonight was the last straw. No baked beans at all? I decided to run in and just check. Baked beans fully stocked...granted the sour cream was out there were other brands, my V8 juice fully stocked, etc. As I was going through you cant help but become irritated that Ive been paying a 2.95 convenience fee each week. How many times was something available or couldve been substituted that I had to go buy at another store? My husband talked with the worker while I was in the store and she told him the manager has been cracking down and wouldnt allow them to substitute if more than .50! Dont offer a service if youre not going to stick to it! We spend on average $150 each week which amounts to $7.5k a year!!! *doesnt include what we spend in gas at your pumps either. We will take our business elsewhere if you cant get it together. Dont cheap out and expect us to continue using the service. And shouldnt you be catering to us so we dont have to come into your store during covid? And then to make matters worse, the check out person didnt give me a bag. Called when I got home to have them issue a refund to my card. Was transfered 3 times after being told by the first guy they couldnt do that, and they are mailing me the refund? And then putting the groceries away, there was a random piece of honeydew in the one bag? Not sure if a worker was eating honeydew and it dropped in our bag, but ew.We are willing to pay a higher price if substitutions are needed. Ultimately we are looking to have it where we are not going into the grocery store at all, especially during these times. We have suggestions on how to improve these kinks like letting us review the list and make edits to substitutions before we pick up. And if youre not going to sub above .50, you shouldve absolutely made that clear online. We are going to give it one more week. And sidenote...we saw the person next to us also coming out of the store with more bags before they got their pick up order.

Giant always has what youre looking for, try to stick w/ the sale items youll be ok. Its a very large store and clean excellent cuts of meat & a good variety of seafood. Its fresh & frozen. Produce is good, they also have a florist & plant area. The prices are reasonable. They have a good amount of seasonal fare.

Excellent grocery store with a great selection. Prices were fair and I found what I needed. All the shelves were neatly stocked and full.

If you are required to wear a mask to enter the store then that policy should also apply when you are actually shopping. I have observed customers shopping without mask without enforcement of store policy sending the wrong message to store credibility.

Great store and they carry a lot of different options, but sometimes things show up and disappear very quickly so dont get too attached. They offer pickup services and have a Western Union inside. They also have cute little carts for children to push around and a robot that roams the aisles. Its a clean store and staff is usually helpful.

I only went for the few things on my list - 2+ hours & $200.+ later....THATS how impressed I was ! Altho the quality & prices are worth mentioning - I found brands & items I havent been able to find within a 75mile radius. Its funny, if the Pottsville location had not closed - I never would have ventured the (more than worth it) 3miles to this location that aligns it former counterpart more with a convenient store rather than a Grocery store !! And during this now Corona Era - THEY are open till 11PM - Thank u for that.

I cannot stand how this store is organized. What used to take me 10 minutes at the Pottsville Giant takes an hour to scavange hunt this one because similar items are in multiple, different, places all over the store no where near each other. I love Giant stores but absolutely dread and avoid going to this one because of that and the annoying grouted tile floor sections that make the cart shake like its offroading. Get your carbonated drinks after getting produce or expect them to explode. Whoever organizes the shelves at this one is in the wrong field of work.Improve by putting all similar items together like they should be on the shelves. Not spewed all over the entire store.

Staff is very helpful. They have decent prices and an excellent rewards program here. Anything to make gas cheaper is always a plus. I always have good experience here.

Never have any issues at this Giant location. With the addition of self checkouts (and going at 1:00am) never have any wait time to checkout. When your wife tells you she wants ice cream: it doesnt matter what time it is...if your a good man you get your lady some ice cream! And thats the secret to a happy life!

Obviously I do my regular grocery shopping here, but I often times Ill just come over to GIANT when Im hungry, grab a basket and walk through the deli and snack areas. I can can often find some combination of snacks and/or a meal that I wasnt anticipating buying.

Just used the Giant Direct grocery pickup service and I would recommend it to others looking to save time! Pick-up was quick and easy, and they gave us a free reusable bag with snacks. They also provided us with a handwritten thank you card for using their service, which was a nice gesture!

I like Giant for their big selection of products. The checkouts are pretty efficient and the parking lot is roomy. Prices are lower than the competition for the most part, even better if there is a sale!

Used to love going to this store but the last two times both customers and employees have been violating mask laws. Will not return.

They had what I wanted and more.

This grocery store seem to have it all. You can sign up online and get $10 off your first order of $50 or more. There are lots of exclusive discounts available when you sign up online. You can load the coupons right onto your giant bonus card. They regularly offer free products through their online program. Plus you can print your coupons as well as shop the circular and print a list of the items that are in the circular you would like.

We get fresh fruit and vegetables. Also they carry my favorite wine.

Bigger than what I thought from Pottsville I was a dedicated customer there I just got to get acquainted more with your store

On any other day I would give the store a five star. However today my father and I visited giant. Each of us wore our masks as directed by the signs on the outside of the store. However one young man was shopping or should I say standing in the meat department without a mask on. He was in the store for at least 15 minutes and had no cart and no groceries. When I reported it I was told that it’s a HIPAA violation to tell people they had to wear a mask. I work in healthcare and that is not a HIPAA violation it is a safety ordinance. People have other options to purchase their groceries if they cannot wear a mask over their nose and mouth. I’m very disappointed.

Produce is not always fresh. Yesterday, I bought three eggplants. I cut them open to use for supper and all three were rotten.

Out of far too many items that I needed. i.e. Purina One dog food/ large bags; paper plates; Bounty napkins and the lustgoeson.
