Tattoo is missing color as it was colored very sloppy and I am very disappointed. Likewise, I was told to use Aquaphor, but I ended up talking to a new tattoo parlor for a consultation and color touch-up and they said absolutely no Aquaphor. Friend of mine who has been in and out of tattoo parlors forever said they probably used the wrong needle when coloring the tattoo in. Not coming back.

I called asking if I can make an appointment for Saturday and they guy told me to come in tomorrow and we can discuss what I want and see if there is a spot available which is understandable, so I asked him well is there even time available for me to come in so I dont waste my time and get my hopes up and he rudely said something along the lines of you have to come in and we will see so I walk in and I told them what happened, they look at the book and said yeah there are no spots available. I spent 30 minutes to get there just to be shut down. why couldnt you tell me on the phone and you could have been much nicer about it.

Jerry has been my guy since my first tattoo and has done many for me. I was in recently and had a memorial piece done. Knowing the situation I was going through Jerry made it a point to get me in right away and blew me away with his generosity. Not only did this tattoo come out perfect but all the other work hes done over the years remains flawless. I would highly recommend Jerry and Planet New York Tattoo for your tattoo.

Had a very pleasant experience with the Piercer Katie!! She did my Septum and walked me through the process and told me about after care and everything I needed to know! It was VERY clean and organized and near painless and I felt comfortable!! She was very kind and gave me some good laughs and I will for sure be recommending others here and coming back for future piercings and talking about my amazing experience!!! Thank you so so much! ❤️She even gave me an after care sheet which helps A TON! ❤️❤️❤️

I went to Planet New York Tattoo my first time over 6 years ago to get a piercing, they were RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, and on top of it didn’t come across welcoming, or like they even cared you were there! I never went back. I had a piercing fall out recently, and it’s been SO hard to find places to go to because of Covid and all the protocols! So, I called around everywhere and figured “it’s been 6+ years give them a try, maybe it’s changed”... Yeah, I made the right decision 6+ years ago to never go to them again. The male receptionist I spoke to was highly rude, with an “I’m too good to be here, or be bothered with you” attitude. He was like an angry 16 year old that’s parents forced him to get a job & he hates it. I was trying to explain the situation and instead of listening to what I was trying to say, he just kept interrupting me & then told me to just go online to book an appt ... Worst customer service. Ever. And first impression to me, is everything. Whoever is doing the hiring at this establishment, needs to reevaluate their employees and see if they really want to be working there, and maybe some refreshers on customer service, how to listen, and how to represent yourself correctly. Especially with a customer who is inquiring about spending money at your establishment, you’re supposed to listen, and cater to their needs, not have an attitude or make them feel uncomfortable, and ruin any chance of them coming to your business. I’m just happy I called before going in-person because that was literally a joke.

I used to go here for all my piercing years ago and they were always great. The piercer there now is incredibly rude, lost my business simply due to the nasty way she communicated to me multiple times while I was trying to schedule my appointment. Went back to queen city because of this incident

Very nice, they fit me in way sooner than I thought and I was in and out in like 15 minutes. Im hoping that the tattoo looks better after it heals some because I looked in there and I couldnt really see by looking in the mirror but it seemed like it was alright but when I got home and took a picture of it and really looked.... Im not thrilled with the lettering but like I said, maybe once it heals.

Katie the piercer helped me today and was so kind and a great person to talk to! I recommend her to anyone!! She fixed my piercing and she has a variety of jewelry to be pierced with! She was so clean and organized also, I can’t wait to go back!

Audrey is amazing!! She pierced my nose about 2 weeks ago, and my body had been having a hard time with the jewelry and she was able to help me out!! She is wonderful & so down to earth! If you need a piercing, I highly recommend Audrey!

Great place with friendly employees, and I think its the best option if you want to get a tattoo if youre in the area. I went in the other day planning to get one, but ended up getting two lol. The artist did an excellent job making sure that every detail was shown too.

They charged in the $200 range per tattoo, for all three that I have and they’re about 2in long tattoos. They also messed up on my one pretty badly. I’m getting it fixed by a different shop. The picture I gave him looks nothing like what I got and it kinda looks like he gave up on it. I will say that I did have good experiences getting my piercings from them.

Ive been going here since I got my first tattoo when I was 18. Highly recommend them, and always happy with the whole experience start to finish. John and Sag are both great artists that Ive personally been to.

My favorite place for tattoos and peircing. Have had multiple of both now and never disappointed. They have even done a cover up that is amazing and made me feel comfortable to show my tattoo off again.

Put $100 down and waited for my appointment. Called a couple of days early to see the progress of the design. Was told I will see it the day of appointment. When I got there, I was showed the design by the girl at the front desk. When I told her I wanted to change some stuff, she went back to the artist and told him. He said he would not change anything. I said I would not be tattooed something I did not like. They would not change the design or give me back my $100. Horrible way of doing business. I would never go back there.

Have gotten almost all my work done here. Mad chill place. And get the work done just how you want it. Definitely would recommend anyone to go there.

Overall not too good of an experience. Do not rely on their walk-in policy. Went there on 2 Saturdays in a row and was told both times they were already booked. The store opens at 12 and I was there at 12 with no other customers around. Both times I was told somebody called out. Frustrating! Eventually, I did get my tattoo done. The result looks average, positioning on my upper arm is off. I paid $240 for a 35 minute job. I scheduled another appointment and the appointment was cancelled due to a call out (3rd time). I was fed up and stopped by and picked up my deposit. My recommendation to the ownership: have a back-up plan when somebody calls out or do not advertise the walk-in days. I wont be back!

Never again. Have a look at the pics I uploaded of John C.s handi-work. I should be sued for even having this train-wreck on my arm. Notice the one pic where the barbed wire goes through the skull. Yeah, I know...its my fault. Also look at the pic of the barbed wire with the white ink just blobbed into my arm. The shading done around the 3 skulls I got was atrocious and not even amateur. A little kid asked me if I rubbed charcoal onto my arm. Thats the smokey look he was going for.The skull with the nails is the crown jewel of bad tattooing. The shading is nonsense, the features are totally unrealistic and it looks like a 5th-graders doodle. Its one of the worst tattoos I have ever seen in my life and Im embarrassed its on MY arm.I showed my arm to 2 other tattoo artists; one of them almost vomited and the other gave me a number to a tattoo removal center and told me I should call at once.The good thing is I showed it to a third artist far away from Planet NY and he does great cover-up work and agreed to help fix this abomination. Id rather have my arm amputated than go around with this mess.This review is not for Planet NY as a whole, but for Johnny C. I dont know the other artists there, but even they would have to agree that this work is unacceptable and looks like someone rubbed a turd all over my arm. Again...Im sure its all my fault.Over-priced, over-rated and anyone Ive shown this to couldnt agree more with me. Ill take this review down if PNY gives me a refund.

Great experience with SAG and everyone in the shop was extremely polite and professional - and they know how to simply have a good time and laugh.Extremely pleased with the results would be a total understatement.
