Vector is a national agency, and to be avoided.. the shortcomings of its national presence --each of which I have experienced-- include 1, its monitoring center is not located locally and has no local information. thus, eg, if theres an outage, it cannot know whether it is neighborhood wide or confined to ones property; 2, its drive to profit appears to have reduced staff at local offices such that the response time there has greatly expanded, and weekend presence vanished; 3, the people at its monitoring center have little or or no technical knowledge, even on obvious topics such as reset of alarm.

Steve from Vector Security was wonderful. He spent most of the day at our house setting up our system but you would have never know. He was quiet and went about his business in a very professional manner. He was also very patient when it came time to teaching us how to use the system. Thank you, Steve!

New in the area, in a century-old home, were still figuring out the basics.George came in to get our security system up and running and did a great job all around.He explained every part of the system carefully and made a few repairs where he saw such was needed.George was clear and precise when it came to showing how to arm and disarm the system, something Im always a little nervous about.I was very satisfied with his friendly, competent service and would recommend Vector without hesitation.

Vector Security technicians are extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. Eli was amazingly patient and understanding in answering all my questions. They moved my curtains very gingerly when installing all window alarms. They take all of the boxes and papers and leave absolutely nothing behind. Eli was great! He was very thorough with explaining everything to me and answered all of my questions. He made me feel very comfortable and confident to use the system. I will say my original appointment got canceled at the last minute. I wish the office was a little bit more responsive and was able to give me a heads up when my appointment was not on schedule.

I had my Vector Security System installed over the summer, after much research and getting quotes from multiple companies. I have been extremely impressed with Vector from the beginning, with the caliber of personnel, the quality of the products, and their reasonable price point. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Eli and Dave put in a full day - much longer than anticipated - to make sure the alarm system worked as it should. Much of that had to do with a garage door opener that would not behave. They probably could have put in some kind of patch but they kept at it until they were able to get to the root of the glitch and make everything work as it should. Professional plus.

We are very pleased with our new Vector Security system. Eli and George did an excellent job in installing, setting up and verifying all the systems functions. We are also happy about the video analytics function that augments the capabilities of the camera images.

The technician who came today to explain the system and show me how to use it was extremely helpful. Had this been done in the first place on instillation, this visit would probably not have been necessary.He was also pleasant, and patient. He removed the 2 old key pads as requested, finding on one of them that there was still electrical power being supplied to the pad in the garage. While not much trickle power was being consumed, the elimination was helpful.In all it was a good / excellent experience . He represented his company well, was obviously knowledgeable and presented himself well. Thank you

Vectors team has done an outstanding job. Kevin (sales) has explained everything clearly, and given us excellent guidance and pricing. He came to our house to thoroughly understand our needs. John and Sarah (installation) have done a fabulous job. They worked hard to install what we ordered, and to help us make some very useful modifications.

This system is so great. Installed camera, door bell, sensors, smart lock. Was totally trained by the technician Eli, he is wonderful and very understanding. From Kevin the sales agent to the technician had a wonderful experience. Will recommend Vector to all my Real Estate college for sure. Now I have my peace of mind back. Do not hesitate the system is worth it, believe me.

The most surprising and wonderful experience I have had - what a great security company; first Jeff the outrageous sales person and then Eli the patient wonderful helpful technician. WOW I love my new system.Just wanted to add my latest encounter with Eli. After speaking with Jeff, I decided to go ahead and get the Ring! Eli came prepared with two choices of Ring styles -- I chose the round one. He patiently installed it and made sure all things were A Go. We had our security system, cameras, and door bell installed by George from Vector. Highly recommend him to do an installation, very professional, accomadating, and worked safely throughout our home with the current Covid craziness. George put in a full day working on our system on one of the hottest days of the year and was great from start to finish!

We just got our house secured by Vector Security and glad we did! From working with Kevin the salesman and Eli the installer of the equipment we used to protect our home, it all went smoothly! We were taught how to use the system without any trouble! Also, how fast they came out to install the system is unbelievable. I contacted the office because I was having issues with my system. Eli, the technician, arrived promptly according to the time I was given by the office staff. He determined what the issue was, which was a simple fix. Eli was professional and explained everything he was doing. Called for emergency service to bypass system in order to arm system.This was a problem for several days because of lack of techs locally. Repeating problem so as a result had to nightly called for help.Panel in house was haywire. Differant techs had differant solutions nightly. Was told I would be called back, never happened.
