Simplicity is by far the classiest consignment shop in the Hudson valley! As, soon as you walk in the door you know you have entered in an upscale, beautifully decorated consignment store. The owner is a beautiful, smart young woman that I have known since the beginning. Nicole is a pleasure to do business with. Whenever, she is in the back and she hears my voice, she says “ Is that Christine? She makes me smile and feel right at home! I highly recommend this elegant store. It’s a great shopping experience!
My friends and I hit up this consignment store at least once a month. It is set up beautifully and the items are in immaculate condition. So many unique and beautiful items. Would highly recommend!
I ove this place it has such cool stuff. New, handmade or vintage stuff. You can totally find hidden gems here and its beautifully curated. Its all very well priced and only takes in stuff that was lightly worn or new so you know your getting good stuff. Ive been here a few times and we always come for the annual bag sale and even in the reject piles you find things you actually want. I need to come back here more often. I really like the handmade local artist stuff they sell here.
By far the best consignment store. An amazing selection and Nicole does an amazing job of photographing and advertising your clothes in her Instagram posts. She is very knowledgeable about designer bags and I would trust her with specialty pieces. She’s very generous with what she takes (at least for me she is) and the tracker online is easy to use. She even offers FREE local delivery. Just a really amazing local business to support
The only place I get clothes from now! Always the best quality and so stylish! The staff is amazing and Nicole is the sweetest. If you’re looking for chic and vintage pieces, this is the place.
Beautiful shop, clean and a great selection from your everyday to high end items- All reasonably priced! Staff is always courteous in person and on social media. Its also easy to get to with plenty of parking!
Much bigger than I thought. Love the displays.
Funky clothes, great jewelry and gifts. They also carry new items. The staff is attentive, and knowledgeable. Great local store!
Fabulous variety for every taste and style. Charming, fun store with great prices and helpful owner. We live 2 hours away but we will be back!
I visited this store with my sister while she was at a dance conference in New York and I loved the vibe. Lots of unique finds here if you ask me!
Love the selection! Everything is very cute. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing and unique finds shown on facebook all the time. Great prices as well I highly recommend:)
Great selection of quality clothing, shoes, purses, and home decor! Best consignment in the HV!
The cloth there is amazing. It’s cute and amazing.
Nicole’s shop is the best to consign designer items, they sell so fast and I made more money than the real real offered me! Think local first.
Excellent customer service and everything is top quality! GREAT prices. Purchased two beautiful cross chest handbags. Ask about their sales. They are opening another store soon. Definitely be will return!
Still waiting for check for items that sold. ( Items left in January 2019) Took awhile for my account to be updated. Glad I kept the original slip that showed how many items Id left as account didnt reflect all sales. Im not able to visit shop to pick up check thats waiting for me as Im caring for parents in Westchester. Sending stamped self addressed envelope so check thats waiting for meCan be mailed. All great reviews from your customers. Its the people that leave items with you that seem to have difficulty based on other reviews.
Beautiful store, great quality items. I love this place and find myself saying why pay full retail when you can buy at Simplicity. My daughters ages 15-20 always find great clothing items here. And the bag sales that raise money for charities! Love it
I found a wool cable sweater for me and a burgundy leather designer bag for my working daughter at 20% of the cost of original cost. Plus, no one makes leather or wool items like they used to, so it is a win/win shopping there. I find things I like and I dont pay much for them.PS: My husband loves his bone china mug ($2)
Went to Simplicity for the first time, dealt with the owner she was SUPER AWESOME! The store is setup really nice, is organized and appealing. Items are not all over which can happen at some stores. Consignment process does not take very long. I also noticed that the staff interacts nicely with everyone . I would strongly reccomend. It was only my first time but I will be back, and with friends!
Ive been driving by for years and on Saturday night, I finally stopped in. There is only one word: PERFECTION! Ive shopped thrift, antiques, and consignment shops all over the country and this store is a WOW! The inventory is impressive, the staging imaginative, and the staff friendly and helpful. I was so impressed that I went back yesterday to introduce myself to the owner AND found a Dana Buchman suede jacket on the $5.00 rack. Does it get better? Kudos to Nicole, Brigid, and staff. A wonderful retreat!
L❤VE THE STORE & THE OWNER IS AMAZING❣ I got to meet her Employee Mary today very a sweet young lady

Helpful employees, great selection
Terrible customer service!!I have consigned with Simplicity twice. The first time, I sold quite a few items so I had no problem consigning again. I live in Westchester County so the drive is a bit far but this shop is unlike any consignment shop Ive been to. It has a very sophisticated atmosphere.I consigned four items last year and the account closed in February. At that time none of the items sold. I went to pick up my items on 4/16/18 and found out to my horror, that one item had gotten broken after it was removed from the floor. I had planned to try and sell this item after I retrieved it.I didnt even get so much as an apology from the owner regarding the broken item. I did find out at the time of pick up that one item did sell and I was given payment for that. I inquired as to what would be done about the broken item and was told, with not even an apology, that they are not responsible for any damage to items not picked up within 7 days of it being removed from the floor, and that its in the contract. Yes, Im sure its in the contract, but it would have been nice if the owner had reminded me of that in one of the many emails I sent to her inquiring about when I could pick up the unsold items. She reluctantly paid me $5 for the broken item. She seemed annoyed by the whole thing. Im the one that should have been annoyed. My item was broken and could not be fixed.I live closer to several consignment shops and there are many that I could have given my business to but I chose Simplicity because I always liked what I saw and had luck in the past consigning. I thought the owner and I had a better rapport but after this transaction, I see that we do not. She never addressed me by my name, even after I asked if she was Nicole, she never thanked me for consigning with them again, and overall this was a bad customer relations experience. Given the distance I traveled, over 45 minutes to get there, to have an item damaged beyond repair by a careless employee of the store and no apology, I will consign elsewhere. So to those thinking about consigning here, read that contract thoroughly and pick up your unsold items immediately when the contract expires. You dont want them damaged or broken by careless and unapologetic people.
Dont like consigning here. Brought in so many current items, all brand new with tags and from popular labels, that they didnt take. They took one sweater, ironically, with no tag and from a less expensive brand. Never contacted me about whether or not it was sold. I never even bothered to pick it up or further inquire, because it wasnt worth the effort. They are so snooty as well. They look down on what you bring in if it isnt up to their standards.
I have been shopping here since the start! However in the last few years the store has taken it to a whole new level. Every time you walk around the store you see new things. Bonus- I get decorating ideas because the eye the owner, Nicole, has an unbelievable and eclectic eye. Simplicity is the Anthropologie of the Hudson Valley! Vintage, consigned and new items, take your pick. They have it all. I come into the store, tell them the occasion, and I am in the dressing room with beautiful things to try on. Why be like everyone else, a little flair and pizzazz is the way to go.
Wonderful high end consignment boutique. Nicole, the owner, decorates the store so nicely, very inviting and fun to explore.
What a great place to find unique gifts, and what a great way to spend your money locally!!
Great place, went here with my family and everyone was very friendly.
Great customer service and always find amazing designer pieces.
Has changed since first opening. Not a fan anymore.
